We're taken into the Qagoma archives to look at an artificial kangaroo and panda, the first two parts of the highly-anticipated piece Heritage by Cai Quo Quiang to arrive from China. Russell Storer, curatorial manager for Asian and Pacific art at Qagoma, Brisbane, introduces us to the new work, which will open in summer 2013 at the Gallery of Modern Art, and features 99 replicas of animals from around the world gathering to drink from a blue lake.â?¢ My favourite work: Evicted by Blandford Fletcherâ?¢ My favourite work: War and Peace by Ian Fairweatherâ?¢ My favourite work: Ressort by Huang Yong Ping
