It’s funny when Parth says that u will stop looking at normal charts when u start using market profile charts, and yet he has 2 normal candle stick charts(5 mins n 1 day)open all d time. Thank u Vivek Sir for live trading. It exposed him.
You need the normal candlestick charts to nail entry and exit. Market Profile will give you the 'context'. For Context, you don't need candlestick charts once you learn MP. Use both if you want, no rules against that.

i bought market profile, oderflow, delta ..a whole lot of other stuff......... on ninja trader, i was novise that time with one year experience , and after all this, i was in loss, i spent more than four years on learning and trading...... finaly i m able to recover all my lossess ...... but believe me guys ..... all this fancy stuff do not work in lower time frame for all traders.'' i m greatfull for vivak sir for introdusing such consepts''.. .. only one suggestion for all, weekly time frame even ''macd'' works. it depends on ur stoploss(ie. risk profile). intraday is the most diffcult to trade......... i m not suggesting any thing ..... but dont do mistake what i did, by buying all these stuff... now a days there are many cracks and paches for ninja trader available at cost of 15000/- as a bundle, dont buy even that ... ...... ''in market every thing works and every thing do no work''.... all depends on ur personal loss bearing capacity (capital) and time frame...... best of luck.
Tanks HSK. Very true. for intraday you can use pivots for trend identification, On 5 mins chart. Intraday is for those who aare very nimble and can cut their RED trades. And min capital for intraday is 12-15 Lacs otherwise brokerage will eat you up. Now the holy grail for trading is use of multiple non co-related strategies. Your drawdown will be less but your profit will also reduce. I am used to manage more than 39-40 strikes at the same time.

TradingView has Fixed Range Volume Profile on the 7th icon on the left toolbar. Also this way of interpretation of the profile will always generate delayed signals. It is better to use the reference points but combine with price action and psychology factors to get proper entry. Intraday position of this trader ended in 50K loss but combining yesterday's positions and profits the PNL was 2L

Very Good presentation......I want to put out some info here...though it is easier to analyse any formed charts but the information would never be changed as human behaviour.Context was value rejection prevday..there is a concept called value rejection/acceptance n subsequent value fill.opened gapped down confirmed the rejection now need to monitor sellers strength or buyer weakness for follow through selling or long inventory liquidation.Second most weak buyer info was BC ledge formed and failed to take out the DH n pdh as well in such cases one should for selling opportunity below DL as open buyers and from prev days will liquidate their inventory..if DL was broken 80% rule trade setup can also be on and finally happened thru out the Day with OTF down no point is to think about long only shorting opportunity on any pull back s...same value rejection formation 30th December profile i mean yday profile...we r ready to watch out the action..any open below Val will confirm sellers control now monitor for follow through selling first tgt would be 29th profile poc and that day low as well it was a FA point....if market gave two consecutive close below 18k ...nxt possible tgt would be 17500/250 as per the balance rule ..P.S-Not a trade reco.

To understand market profile, you need to understand bell curve. It's simple statistics. good video. yellow area or value area is where minimum normal distribution of around 35 percent trades happen

I am of the opinion TPO or Volume Profile charts .. plot trades that are already done.. volume is an action when buyer meets seller. Traders make money only when they can trade at probable point of reversal with right position size. I don't see any use of profile charts which plots history of trades or watching POC or value area. Only those value areas are tradable which takes out previous value area.

I think market profile, volume profile, footprint, orderflow are all good if used as scalping techniques to frontrun large trades. They are not as effective in determining the overall direction of the markets & for expiry trading as witnessed in live trading.

Very Good presentation......I want to put out some info here...though it is easier to analyse any formed charts but the information would never be changed as human behaviour.Context was value rejection prevday..there is a concept called value rejection/acceptance n subsequent value fill.opened gapped down confirmed the rejection now need to monitor sellers strength or buyer weakness for follow through selling or long inventory liquidation.Second most weak buyer info was BC ledge formed and failed to take out the DH n pdh as well in such cases one should for selling opportunity below DL as open buyers and from prev days will liquidate their inventory..if DL was broken 80% rule trade setup can also be on and finally happened thru out the Day with OTF down no point is to think about long only shorting opportunity on any pull back s...same value rejection formation 30th December profile i mean yday profile...we r ready to watch out the action..any open below Val will confirm sellers control now monitor for follow through selling first tgt would be 29th profile poc and that day low as well it was a FA point....if market gave two consecutive close below 18k ...nxt possible tgt would be 17500/250 as per the balance rule ..P.S-Not a trade reco.

To understand market profile, you need to understand bell curve. It's simple statistics. good video. yellow area or value area is where minimum normal distribution of around 35 percent trades happen

MP combined with Order Flow Analysis becomes a deadly combination. Is it possible to make few videos on how OFA is used in trading?
I am of the opinion TPO or Volume Profile charts .. plot trades that are already done.. volume is an action when buyer meets seller. Traders make money only when they can trade at probable point of reversal with right position size. I don't see any use of profile charts which plots history of trades or watching POC or value area. Only those value areas are tradable which takes out previous value area.
My small experience in Market profile concept like .. DAY TYPE & OPEN TYPE are more useful than market profile chart.

Market profile were best suited/designed for equity..options volume has changed lot of things in overall market microstructure. This guy himself learner, sell penny options to make money but its ok.

I think market profile, volume profile, footprint, orderflow are all good if used as scalping techniques to frontrun large trades. They are not as effective in determining the overall direction of the markets & for expiry trading as witnessed in live trading.
