Fantastic truck. It’s probably got plenty of pep with that big truck engine. That 261 was the powerhouse engine until the 292 came out.

@@CastIronPhilosopher mine is a 49 too but suburban clamshell. Running Fenton headers, offenhauser intake, dual Carter W1, 700R4, Eaton. My 261 was pulled from a bus, supposedly only done 20,000 mile’s . They are such beautiful motor.

Ditch the tunes - most viewers would prefer just engine. I run a 261 myself. That is only my personal opinion though. @@CastIronPhilosopher
