Cheers Chiltern! The Professional set has 18 brushes and handles a variety of genres. The Basic Set is a starter set and a condensed version of the Pro set.
Thank you and so happy you found this informative! Happy Painting!

I strain my dirty Gamsol to create clean reusable Gamsol. It’s easy! How?:
I put dirty gamsol in a glass jar & let all the sediment/paint fall to the bottom.
Then I take a xs funnel with several sheets of paper towel cut and rolled to fit inside the cone leaving no hole in the bottom of the paper towel. Then I pour the gamsol from the top of the jar through the filter, then wipe the sediment from the bottom of the jar. It’s a nice relaxing way to fiddle in the studio after or before a painting session. Easier than it sounds! 👍

Am very thankful for your content. Since living in Germany I very much would appreciate the names and links of the presented products such as the soap, cleansing oil, tissues etc. Would help a lot to do the research. Txs.

Hi, thank you so much. Home Depot or Lowes sell Blue Shop Towels. They are lint free.
For the soap: Jacks Linseed Studio Soap at www.Jerrysartarama.com
Oil: any supermarket oil that is cheap. Caesar Santos said he uses a large gallon of cheap vegetable oil such as corn or safflower. I have used safflower. Thats the cheap route. Through most art supply stores, Walnut oil! More expensive though. Hope that helps! Cheers!

the best way is to deep then in oil and place is flat . there is no way to clean brushes every day. it will make you tired and frustaded plus it destroy the brushes with time. mark carder has a formula for deep brushes...
