@@MikeLemming Hey Mike i just used the standard tubbing (5ml i believe) and connected it to the Red Sea bottle (500 or 100ml).. it has a nipple/connector on the lid that you can cut to size.

I was going to go with 2 of the Kamoer X1 BLUETOOTH dosing pump but I have heard bad things about the Bluetooth one vs the X1 pro since if the power goes out on the Kamoer X1 BLUETOOTH you're SOL.... Let me know your thoughts and concerns?
So far no issues what so ever. Only thing I noticed is once you detect the device just ensure you create an account and log in with it. Sounds like common sense but the app lets you set it up initially without an account. Other than that it has been flawless and required no intervention. Connectivity is not an issue with this device. Hope this helps! :)
Thanks Neil! Funny you noticed that... the LFS i have been purchasing from, and I am not anymore, didn't get livestock names correct. I googled the high fin and it is not the same as I received. They did not ship me what I was expecting half the time either. Frustrating! Thanks for giving me the correct ID! :)

I just bought one, and was wondering- does it have variable speed, or does it just vary dose volume by changing run time?
@@neilphillips3193 Ah no way! Thats too bad. I thought they were supposed to get along?! :( Pump has been great. No issues .. you know what they say.. no news is good news :) I don't believe it is variable speed. Correct it doses by run time. For example mine is set to does 24 ml in 24 hours but you can any plan you like in the app. Hope this helps.

I noticed the power supply plug into the back of the unit and the mounting holes are also back there. So if i wan to mount it using there hardware, wouldnt the power plug-in get in the way?
Hi, yes you are correct. The way I mounted it did not pose a problem but if it is to go against a wall the plug would not allow it to sit flush. Bit of a weird design if you ask me.
Did you have any problems getting the device to connect to wifi? I am looking at the same unit but i have read a few reviews of people having problems getting it connected to wifi. Some have mentioned it doesn't support dual-band routers 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz with the same SSID?
Hi Eric, I didn't have any issues setting mine up but I have read the same and also had some comments expressing the problem. I do have a dual band router as well.

@@sierradelta8920 No worries! Any time! No issues connecting remotely at all. I noted I had to register the device after I set it up which is what might trip people up. Other than that all good.

Hey Scott. Yes in my opinion:) I am using to dose All For Reef in my nano tank. It’s been rock steady and accurate from what I can see.
