Good Idea, position those decom USN vessel as force and weapons multiflier than to preserve it as standby warship in anchor, this can fully serve as WPS security to maintain by US and PH save international water from scammer nations.

Cheaper than a brand new ship. Ship life longer than the Hamilton Class since it is younger ships

USA navy has been donating ship to PN. Like the Hamilton Class now the del Pilar Class which is being use as missile and anti submarine ships. Armaments, Anti ships and Anti Submarine. All of which are donated by USA. It was turn a garbage to a powerful ship. The Ticonderoga were all modernized by USA Navy. All it needs is integration to our central command and training of personnel.

Donated ship shouldn't be stripped off of its intended hi-tech armaments

Strategically, you don't put bases without putting defense missiles in there? It involves gas, missiles ( internal and external), And that putting frigates, etc. Position all naval capabilities defending bases and the country, As a whole. Even if no US bases, China will still attack the Phil. The gold and oil are some resources they're interested.

HOW IS IT DONATED KUNG WALA NAMAN HUMIHINGI OR NAGBIBIGAY AND I DONT THINK WE CAN AFFORD TO MAINTAIN A DESTROYER/CRUISER IN OUR RLEET. THE MISSILES ALONE WOULD COST US MORE THAN WE COULD AFFORD SO ALL OF THIS IS JUST A BIG BULL

This is going to be another missed opportunity for the Philippines. Missed opportunities to acquire Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigates from the USA, missed opportunity for HMAS Adelaide class frigates from Australia, and definitely another missed opportunity for this class of warships.
First of all, the Philippines does not have the financial resources to acquire sophisticated ships. Secondly, the Philippines is too picky in acquiring second-hand sophisticated ships. The government likes diesel-powered ships instead of combined with gas turbine-propelled warships. The Pohang class has gas turbine engines and for this reason, the second one has taken years to acquire.
What are the reasons for these vlogs? To arouse curiosity, bring up hope, delay the process of acquiring, and finally let it pass thereby disappointing the followers. Maybe it would be better not to click on such vlogs because it only brings false hopes and being disappointed later.
