If you are an ordinary citizen, the best spots by FAR would be the hill near 9950 Lawrence Avenue in Schiller Park, or the rendezvous area near 350 North York Road in Bensenville. However, if you are a pilot or flight attendant on an airline that flies to and from ORD, OR if you work in ATC, ground work, or an airport worker, then it would be the little shack that you will see on the right on the way to the Bensenville spot.
That spotting place is epic! Nice view on approach and touch down. Great compilation my friend, many awesome catches, good to see that there are still some airlines who understand how liveries should look like :) Well done, big like!
Thanks 4 watch!ng I like takeoffs as well but due to the time of day that most of the cool stuff is at the airport filming landings usually always allows for more videos.
Oh, Jay, a question, please. I'm leaving for Chicago tomorrow and my hotel is close (relatively) to O'Hare. Where can I take my camera to go planespotting? I'm used to the MSP where they have the fenced off observation area, but I didn't find anything similar in my search for O'Hare.
sorry I didn't see this until just now... best spots at ORD are on the east side at Scott st. in front of the Wally Airport Parking. On the west side there is a turn-off right under the approach lights for 10C on York Rd. hope you found a good place for watching airplanes.
Good morning... I'm from germany... living in Indiana... My big Q is...can you tell me please where the best place is for planespotting around o'hare. Because of all the the c19 restrictions...i need at least to watch some planes... Thank you...😊

@@OHAREAVIATION Yes, I was at York Road, captured a British 787, a UPS A300, and on the ground, a Lufthansa A340-300 and a TUI 787-8.
Which area in o’hare has the best views?

Wondering, did you catch the Cargolux go around on 5/6 around 19:15L?
It's been a few days since I was out spotting... anything significant about that one?
