I remember running this for the mounts. The dragon's back was such a pain but when I finally got all the mounts, my buddy was happy he didn't have to go back ever again! XD I found doing this on our locks really made a difference.
haha yea the back is definitely annoying XD like even for me, i dont really have any "issues" doing it but like damn can we please just skip it lol i still need all 3 mounts from here so i'll still be running it for a long time to come lol RIP
I was so glad that Experiment 12-B was the last mount to drop for me because that meant I never had to do the spine again. Except I had to do it again several times when I was doing the quest for the legendary Rogue daggers. 😂

Nice guides. But for the deathwings back fight, there is no need to keep running. Just stand in one of the puddles. They keep you in place when deathwing rolls.

Very smart to put these videos out that coincide with the same timeline as cataclysm timeline in classic right now. Definitely brings back some memories, but also some of these fights I just can’t remember.
Did this raid randomly the other week and the mail shoulders were what became my transmog focus! It's a fun raid, I was stumped on the back on the dragon for awhile but a guide helped me! So I'm this video will help people. =P (edit; I just double checked and it was your video on the spine anyways! XD).

Just wanted to add that if you are uncomfortable flying down that narrow twisting corridor from the portal, like me, you can talk to the dragon near it and he will fly you down to the bottom.
This is such a fun old raid. Came here for a refresher for the Deathwing strategy since I haven't done it in a few years. Also completely off topic but, my auto loot addon has been bugging out for the last 2 days same as yours. Everything is updated so I think it's just pre-expansion bugs not playing well with addons. Great video though; you earned a new subscriber!

iirc I just leave one tentacle up and stand in an empty space where tentacle is supposed to spawn because you get glued there and take no damage, so he can just roll however much he wants. Then just gain charges and when you have enough, just wait for a roll to complete and the the ones that you need to spawn and don't kill it until you kite it to the scales. I find this easier then running back and forth because I'm not good with timing. In short, leave one tentacle up, stand in an empty fire hole, gain stacks, kite mob to scale and blow it up. It's been a while since I done it, so I don't remember details.

I’ve noticed that auto-loot lag as well lately. Sometimes you have to click off and back on again to make it work. As annoying as it is, I’m “glad” to see it’s a bug that other people are having too.
Great series, and thanks for the tip on which difficulty to choose for the mounts! I farmed this place heavy for the transmogs because I really liked the priest outfit. However, I think I only completed the normal and LFR sets and skipped over heroic. Looks like I’m back to the Caverns of Time soon. 😅
Ive also been having weird looting glitches lately. Often having to click more than once. Same thing with accepting quests if I turned in a quest right before in the same chat window. Edit: also as long as you have enough HP you can also stand in the hole left by killing a tentacle to avoid the roll mechanic. It’s like a sticky pad holding you to him.

Sorry, but two more things I wanted to add. 1)You only need to run it on heroic if you need the Handmaiden mount. The other ones drop on normal as well. The main reason you would want to run it on normal is for transmogs, once you get the heroic set. 2) This is really minor, but there are vendors and repair inside the temple in case you want to sell off all the junk you looted. There are portals to get there and back from the top of the temple, from the ship inside the cabin, and from the Maelstrom.
Loving the explanations on how to do certain things within the raids, I'm new to WoW and this series has been awesome so far! Managed to get Life-Binder's Handmaiden on my first attempt
its mostly the set for hunters from the Nighthold raid (Legion) its called Eagletalon Battlegear then the only things that are different and NOT from that set are: Boots: Sky-Hunter Swift Boots Cloak: Sinister Gladiator's Cape Belt: Blightguard's Girdle and the bow is the artifact weapon from legion too and it comes with a quiver :D
Lazy person way. Kill all but 1 tendril like you said. Then go stand in one of the slots. When DW rolls, the slimes dont fly off and youre anchored. Wait a minute while they keep soawning. Then do exactly as you said. Kill the slimes bear the plate and drag the most elemental through. Rinse and repeat

it just automatically does it for you! i dont even think you literally have to jump you could just walk off the edge and it will automatically make you do a super jump to the next cliff :)

I think your videos would be much easier and enjoyable to watch if you would slow down with the camera pov. Jerking the camera pov around in game makes it hard for the YT viewer to focus their eyes.
What the hell is this? How is it possible to hit 13 million damage hit? All the vids are guides how to solo raids that require 25 people etc and she just runs through all the instances with 1 hitting the bosses. Is this somekind of hack or private server glitch or what?

Deathwing's back was the main star in many a nightmare during Cata!! If only those 3 dwarves really took out BW as they all claimed..

A tip when you reach the top of the tower you can skip the RP by portal down and fly up and yes it's faster.

its because its extremely old content, theyre called legacy raids now. youve been able to 1 shot old content of previous expansions forever
