One thing though: Saying "Can I be honest?" and "I'm not gonna lie / I ain't gonna lie" 100000 times per episode is crazy :) Is that a local thing? Yes and no. For music only, perhaps, but the trio of Logic, Cubase and S1 can't rule each other out as they are massively similar. For audio work that goes beyond music, (post production, virtual reality, film, live, recording, game audio), absolutely no shot! To hammer home point 1 a bit further: Logic has AI stem separation, AI session players and a solid iPad -> Mac workflow. Cubase has the best sample browser on the market, AI vocal separation (+ full stem separation at an additional cost, probably the best sounding one as well) and a boolean automation tool for all sorts of tedious DAW functionality. S1 has a mastering suite, advanced drag & drop functionality, modern MIDI tools (chord strumming etc.), the most advanced & easy to use Dolby Atmos integration (both Apple + Dolby renderers) All of these are like top of my head. Probably the big standout features anyway. I have licenses to all 3 and know how similar they are, while still having different, unique features. Btw, FL Studio lacks like all of them 👍and surely another 80% of all the other, shared features.
M1 Max's have better Single Core Performance and don't use as much efficiency cores compared to M2 Max's and M3 Max's. M Ultra line, can't go wrong with any of them. The only DAW that fully uses the efficiency cores is REAPER from what I've researched.

I think LJ is talking about how the audio clips are independent of the tracks in the playlist. You can make them unique and route them however you want. Working with vocals in FL feels more like producing than mixing where as pro tools and logic follow a more linear path. It’s pretty much impossible to have the same freedom.
You can copy a vocal take to a new track, which has a new mixer channel in any other daw, the same thing. To me that is more mixing than it would be in any other daw, because you’d have to manually route things instead of it just being routed unless I’m missing something?
@@MaximusWhyman Yeah of course but the workflow allows you to freely route WHATEVER, HOWEVER you want. And the modularity of it operates more like building blocks rather than working in time. Idk it’s kinda hard to explain and can get really messy but I understand where he might be coming from.
