in theory, he could've probably downsmashed after letting wolf over, fsmashing backwards by knowing he'd go there would have him get hit because fsmash doesn't duck but downsmash would've let him catch up to him after a bit of crouching
Leo's Byleth is so inspiring to watch. I feel like being a Byleth main as i am would be harder if there wasn't such a great source like Leo to glean from.
I definitely agree with you. I as well use Byleth as my main and how Leo uses it is insanely mind blowing. It inspires me to face Leo one day in SSBU match.

I go a lot deeper offstage than I used to after seeing some of the Leo edgeguards.
Totally agree. One “A-ha moment” I learned from him was to relax when falling off-stage.
I used to just use the tether as quick as possible to try and get to stage. But seeing him I realized, “Oh, I can relax and actually be safer when just falling sometimes.”

That second match was like a pro fighting a noob that just started the game and got lucky at some points. AnD is suppose to be 5th in Hawaii from what they said. Didn't feel like that in that second fight.

Reminds of a smash 4 major where Leo absolutely destroyed a guy who was like 6th on his PR. The look that guy gave to his friends in the crowd after game 1 was hilarious.
Hola, Hawaii dude here. There’s a lot of factors going into the match. Of course we know Leo’s #1 in the world, and he has a ton of top wolf exp. On the other hand Hawaii has no byleths, and playing one of Leo’s caliber is especially gonna be a trip.
Leo actually played our #1 (smallleft) at the last genesis, and kinda wiped the floor with him too. There’s a huge skill difference between #1 in the world and being ranked in a small region.
humbling to remember that the guys that leo wipes would still wipe you. there’s levels to smash

He didn't fall out, the anvil hit Leo up into the stage and Leo managed to tech it
actually I take that back, Leo was footstooled immediately after hitting the stage, meaning the Steve saved him by spamming the jump button
Looked it up, and apparently down smash is a multihit move. When Steve first puts down the lava, when it's in "block" form, it deals multiple hits. This multihitbox combos into the strong hit when the lava begins to flow. I did not know this either.

There might not be an answer. The only character I think could counter him would be Pichu or Pikachu. Complete stage control with Diddy is fucking nuts.

Why do people never use female Byleth? Do they think they’ll be seen as simping?
Can't speak for anyone else but I just don't like her design. I don't like most of the fire emblem character designs honestly and that might be because they just look really generic to me. Male Byleth though has something, but I can't quite put my finger on it. I'll risk poor wording and say I think it might be a dominant anti-hero vibe I get from him, and I don't get that same feeling with the female equivalent.
Take a shot everytime they say "Leo" or "best playing the world"
