Union Pacific big boy 4014 n/b july 28 2022 from platteville to peckham, colorado (hd version)

a fundraiser for the Union Pacific Historical Foundation, which ran during the last weekend of Frontier Days as well, reminding us of previous annual frontier days trains that ran in 1992 thru 2018. Tickets were pricey, almost 800 coach, and well over a thousand for a dome seat. But it was great for 4014 to get out and about. Skip is working on stringing the clips together i shot together and will release it soon, and his channel, before I loose this memory card or a dog eats it , I wanted to post it. filmed in HD, i also had an operable 4k camera on this segment iirc, so we will get that out as well i hope. This has great deal of wind noise, Skip may help mitigate that some what Thanks for looking have a steamy day.

I am amazed at the drivers' recklessness following this historic machinery. That purple "Got My Chevy" (GMC) almost didn't make it.
