ru-glyde is what we used when i worked for a marine prop repair shop for 7+ years. Also we have the press and cones for the job. But you can't lick your fingers when using ru-glyde.
Go to A-1 race supplies and but a SS exhaulst reducer. Then cut it at the exact spot that matches the ID you need. Then I basically cut out a large washer out of SS sheet. Then welded that to the base. Thank for your question
It`s a Miracle you were able to get it done with that rig. Have you attempted the Yam. 61A bushing, without the front and Aft guides..?

So far I haven't had any issues. I have probably covered around 100 miles with it.
I have been running the prop on my 200 yamaha. I haven't had any slipping issues
