Section by section and the fact that if it dries a little it’s a mess to get off and clean makes this a little more work then it’s worth in my opinion. Mr. Pink through the foam cannon has never steered me wrong!!
I like this stuff. In a bucket I use 3 oz to approximately 1 1/2g of water. I have had good water beading results. I also use a foam cannon. I spray the entire vehicle then hit it with a wash mitt. Great results.
When i start enjoying detailing 23 years ago there was no premium brands as we have today so,this was one of three brands i used at that time, believe me my car was always perfect and shinning.
I haven't really washed my car in three weeks but because watching Pan's video, I'm going to clean my car as much as possible. Just because i'm jealous of his shine 😁😁
I'm actually very surprised at how the single wash resulted in such good water beading. I have noticed that any ceramic infused soap doesn't work very well at lifting harsh dirt or bug marks. So this would probably be a great maintenance wash on a weekly wash schedule where the vehicle doesn't get really dirty. Thank you Pan, this was an awesome test and it turned out well!
@@PanTheOrganizer my wife got a new car, so I've been watching a lot of detail videos. Used to detail boats in college. A lot has changed! Question: both of my cars have glass roofs. And they catch a lot of the elements. Thought about doing a video on roof care?
The One Complaint that I had with this product was that I wish it Sudsed Up better, but I've seen that's common with any Ceramic infused Wash. I got a Good PH Balanced, High Sudsing Wash to use for Heavily Soiled Washes in between Washes with this Product, but to be honest, Since I started using this, My Car stays looking Cleaner, Longer, and Virtually Nothing Sticks to it. A quick Rinse can make it look like it was just washed, and with the Beading and Sheeting from using this product, it Virtually Dries itself too.
@@PanTheOrganizer you should tri tino ceramic snow foam it works good and i recommend it and sheet off water and beads it off very good and it fast and tri cerakote ceramic coating both work good
For heavily soiled vehicles I’ve tried TurtleWax MaxPower (8-10oz) as a pre wash and then follow it up with a wash with Mr. Pink or P&S Car Shampoo (2-3oz) all in a foam cannon. It works well for me👌🏽
Great review, I've been using this ArmorAll ceramic soap for a while, I usually mix it in my canon with either Meguiar Gold Class or sometimes with Turtle Wax Max power, I call it my hybrid solution. By mixing it with Meguiar Gold Class soap it's not very glidy while stimulating with wash mitt, but afterward it feels like a thick coat of protection was added. During this summer I was drying the car with my Stihl leaf blower then topping with P&S Bead Maker. My car color is candy apple red, it would really stand out. Tire dressing I've used was the Chemical Guys vrp. Sometimes instead of P&S Bead Maker I would use Turtle Wax Ceramic hybrid spray coating. It all depends how I feel that day.
Would love to see Armor All make a comeback. I can honestly say that the first detailing product I ever used was Armor All. Shined up my first dirt bike with their plastic protector and thought I was the coolest kid on the mountain. Great video as always my bru.
Thanks! Yeah growing up starting to detail cars in the mid 90’s Armor All was anout the only brand available (along with Turtle Wax and Meguiar’s) and we all remember the overly glossy oily looking Armor All interior protection!
@@PanTheOrganizer and before that in the 60’s, I used Pledge on the vinyl seats of parents’s cars. Pre seatbelt years and we did some serious sliding around.
I have used this stuff on my track car several times with a foam cannon, i found a much better way to do it imo. soak the whole car down with it lets it all dissipate, then do the small sections with agitation. feels like it makes a much thicker longer lasting coat on the car
Gotta say, Armor All is/was probably one of the first names to come to mind when it comes to carwash, etc. I think their products are marketed for the mid-level skilled regular joes. Not bad but not great. By no means terrible. It'll do the job. And, to me, Meguiar's is that other "big name" that comes to mind.
Appreciate the in deph video and fresh content on the product. I prefer car pro reset for my shampoo, but can see where it definitely has its place. Good video man! 👍🇨🇦
To me, the fact that you have to use a wash mitt to agitate the snow foam on the vehicle's surface completely goes against the idea of a snow foam, which is to remove dirt before the contact wash. Super video Pan!
If the soap wasn't Ph neutral and cleaned prior to agitation it would remove the protection that you apply. The foaming of a vehicle is more for tracking where you have been than it is for cleaning. Obsessed Garage has a great video explaining this.
Then you've been drinking the kool-aid. You have to agitate to remove dirt/grime. The Foam on the surface helps remove them from the surface so you are less likely to make swirls when moving the washmit over the surface.
@@whitexeno Wrong Mr. Kool-Aid. Foaming the car helps to loosen dirt so it can be sprayed away from the surface before the contact wash, especially if there is protectant on the paint. With your method you're running a mitt over a lot of the dirt that could have been removed prior.
@@archiepezek You are right, somehow the magic of just putting soap on something and doing nothing to it makes all the contaminants go aways. Get a grip on reality bud.
This is definitely made for the folks who are not too familiar of what Ceramic coatings are and just heard the buzz words and took the risk at $12-$20 with this. Or it's for the person who doesn't have the budget for the real deal coatings and get a piece of the action by getting this. For thess categories of buyers TURTLE WAX would be a much better choice
Got this for $20 at crappy tire and it worked very well for what it is. Did my entire truck with foam cannon, sprayed off, foam cannon again, then 2 bucket wash with the foam on the vehicle. I did the cab and doors, then front hood, fenders and bumper, then outside of box, tailgate tonneau cover. After the 1st rinse water sheeting and beading was already very good. We will see how long it lasts but I was surprised after your review. Saved me a step of a spray on coating and saving some time doing a truck is great for me lol.
Thank you so much for this review. Was considering buying this product but was hoping you would review it. Too much work for the results. You do the best videos on detailing on the net!
I’m a huge Meguiars product fan. With that being said the one product line I would never use is armor all. Im about to watch your vid and I’m hoping this is at least acceptable. In my opinion, armor all had A LOT of catching up to do. Love your tips and tricks, Pan!
I use Maguires wash and wax every 3rd wash on my car and I'll be honest and say I can't stop looking at how shiny it is . My goto product range is bilt hamber
Great review! I also like how You're changing up the layout of Your videos! Armor All was huge in the 80's!! We all loved it! I'll pick up some of this to try.
Another great video, Pan. Your review reminded me of “the old days” (1970’s) when all we had for tires and vinyl WAS the milky Armor All protectant. (Some of my buddies would use brake fluid, if you can believe it, to make their tires shine!). The only product I still use from my high school days is Bleche White. Thanks for sharing you expertise and experience with us.
I really love this stuff, so much I just bought a gallon jug of it. I really like the smell. I bought this with my 1st foam cannon, the armor all 2 in 1 garden hose or pressure washer hookup. I sprayed this all over my car then used a microfiber mitt to wash the car. I really didn't know what I was doing at that time, maybe not even now, but the car looked amazing and beads water like I had never seen before. The second time I used it I had just watched a video on rinse less wash and how it was okay to use in the direct sunlight and if it dries it just leaves polymer spots, I didn't know what rinse less wash was at the time, I thought that meant it was okay for this to dry. Boy I was wrong! It took me a month to get rid of all the spots! As long as I don't let this dry on the car, I foam the whole car, it's small, them wash with a mitt, hose off with pressure washer, towel dry. It leaves a protection that last for months.
Thank you for the review! I recently bought a Portland pressure washer including a Quick-Connect Pressure Washer Spray Wand and a few extra nozzles. Then after a first use of the washer I watched some videos demonstrating use of a foam cannon. I shopped at Walmart auto accessories and looked for a foaming wash, the Armor All was the only foaming car wash at the time, other spaces were empty so for around $12 I picked up a bottle, gave my 2010 Ford Ranger a rinse with the power washer getting off the road salt then not reading directions I poured just a few ounces into the foam cannon no dilution and was I surprised! I totally covered the truck and its topper with foam using what was in the bottle then rinsed and hand dried. The finish looks great, I will be picking up another bottle of Armor All, it is just the beginning of winter and expect another four months or so of salt roads, in the summer its dust and mud from the township roads so I will see how Armor All holds up under those conditions, right now I am happy!
Pan, interesting review. Personally I’m not a fan of Armoral, but as you indicated, they are trying to make a come back, similar to Turtle Wax. Watching and listening to the instructions, the time it’s go to take to wash the vehicle, I prefer to pay the extra money, and use my go to shampoo. Have a great weekend my friend, and keep the videos coming.
when i saw this and before seeing any videos, i washed my vehicle with reg snow from then i used this as a stand alone foamed vehicle with the ceramic wash let it sit for a min and rinsed off no agitating and it still beaded up im pretty impressed with it. i basically depending on my shade foamed the whole vehicle one shot and rinsed and lasted for several months.
Honest review. Thank you. Product seems to have too many drawbacks. I want a shampoo that does it all. If the product was half the price, I'd understand. The chemist needs to go back to the drawing board. Thanks Pan!
Armor All Comeback...Not a chance. To put it into perspective. They are so dumb, they made a "Ceramic Wheel Cleaner." They have no idea what that marketing buzzword means.
I would agree with you for sure on that Matt. I wanted to give them a chance as many viewers were wondering if it was good or not, but I wouldn't recommend this product personally. There are so many better shampoos in my opinion (CarPro Reset, Koch Chemie Gsf, Adam's Car Shampoo, P&S Pearl, Gyeon Bathe, etc).
LOVE This Product. I picked up a Bottle of This a Little over a Month ago, and Am Really Pleased with it. I'm used to washing One Quarter of My Car and Rinsing after Each Section anyways, as Most Soaps Streak if not Rinsed before Drying. I had Prepped My Paint with Mother's CMX Ceramic 3 in One Polish and Coat before using this ArmorAll Extreme Shield Ceramic Wash on My Car , and I was happy with the Results, but it was after Washing My Mom's 6,000 mile, Windveil Blue 2005 Mustang GT, that hasn't had Any Protection on it in over 10 Year, as it's a Garage Queen. When I started to Wash it, the water was Flat as a Pancake and didn't Bead up, or Sheet at all before using this product. After just one Wash using this product, the Water on Her Mustang Beaded Up with Nice Tight Beads of Water, and Sheeted Off just like it did On My 07 Honda Accord EX-L COUPE after Prepping and Polishing and the Basecoat of Mother's CMX Polish and Coat. My one wish is that it foamed a bit more, but I picked up a High Sudsing, PH Balanced Soap for those Heavy Duty Washes, but have to say, I haven't really even needed to use it, since Nothing really sticks to My Car anymore. Using this regularly has kept the Beading Tight as Ever. Even after driving through the Heavy Rains and Storms we have here in Florida, my car Dries itself virtually Spotless afterwards.
Hi Pan, I love your videos and since I subscribed I have using more and more of the products you have tested and reviewed. Thank You. So far my favorite products has been the Turtlewax Hybrid solutions products. I have purchased many of them and use them regularly with fantastic results. I have also used this Ceramic car wash by Armor All as well. I have tested on multiple vehicles and in various ways of applications. The way that seams to work best for me is to pre-wash the vehicle with a good snow foam soap in a foam cannon, rinse off and then re-foam the vehicle with the Armor All extreme shield + Ceramic car wash. I also foam the entire car in cooler and shaded conditions before agitation with the wash mitt that is also wet with water and the same soap from the bucket. I find this method works best and takes the least amount of time. I also found that I must towel/shammie dry the vehicle right away, otherwise the hydrophobic qualities will encapsulate minerals from my well water and deposit them onto the paint. I found the hydrophobic qualities work very well, 4-5 months between applications before I begin to see a drop in water beading. Over all I'm pleased with the results. Thanks again for all the detail reviews!

@@PanTheOrganizer Yes, I love your channel. I have been watching it for about a year now and you do a great job! Although I have had some success with the Armor All ceramic car wash, I have now changed to the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Slick and Slide Pure wash. After watching your review of that product, I feel it will give me the best wash and lubrication properties to prevent scratching during contact washing, but still give me a good value. Thanks again.
Here in Canada 🇨🇦, I charge $150 for a full interior (depending on the condition) and a basic exterior wash for a sedan as a part-time business on top of my full-time job working from home. This first year has been a success I think. Detailed about 40 vehicles in a span of 6-7months, some on weekdays and mostly during weekends. Now I have a list of clients’ vehicles to detail in Spring & Summer 2022. I can not wait till it gets warmer here again!
I used Armour All products when I first got the bug about keeping my car looking showroom. I have since graduated to much better products for pretty much the same money. It’s too bad cause it has great name recognition. It’s always great to see products tested. Great video Pan.
Yeah, the brand recognition is high... AA is the first protectant I used, but also the first one I migrated away from for being slimy and oily inside a vehicle, and short lived on exterior plastics. Turtle wax and meguiars are my quick "run to the car store" buys now. At least turtle wax is trying to keep their brand up to date... 10 years ago I thought they were pretty much all out of steam, but their new products are a huuuuge upgrade.
Hopefully they work harder on making even better products. This certainly wasn't garbage, but I can't recommend it. Other brands showed that it's possible to make a turn around and come up with killer products, so hopefully Armor All can follow suit. They certainly have the financial means given they are a part of the bigger Energizer group now.
Thanks Pan! Another great and informative video! 95% of my detailing purchasing are from watching your videos! I'm ordering the detail guardz tire guide for hose tomorrow. Saw that video and was amazed. Great Video!👍💪💪

Thanks for reviewing this. I washed my wife’s unprotected car with this earlier this summer and it has retained quite a bit of its hydrophobic quality. Even the windshields still seem somewhat protected. I’m curious as to what other “all in one” products may perform better. I’d definitely give them a shot.
I used this on My Mom's 6,000 Mile, Ultra Low Mileage, Windveil Blue 2005 Mustang GT that is a Garage Queen. It hasn't had any protection on it in 10 years, and the water stuck to it as flat as it could when I started to wash it. After doing the first Panel I knew this was something Different. After washing Her Car with this product I was Impressed. The Water Beaded Nice and Tight and Sheeted Off like Glass. And after Drying it with a Microfiber Towel, the Depth and Gloss were Unreal. I think if this was used regularly it would be a Fantastic Product. I use it on My Car and it's made a Huge Improvement how well My Car looks between Washes.
I washed the whole car, at once... just the bucket wash method at 2 ounces per gallon & not in the sun. It turned out fine. Protection lasted about 4 to 6 weeks with no topper
Great Video Pan. I see Meguires has a specific mitt for their ceramic car wash. One side has the chenille for washing and the other side is a lower nap microfiber which they claim spreads and sets the ceramic in the wash better.
I appreciate the review of an average product available in a local store. Based on your testing I wouldn't buy this, but CT always has sales, so for much less maybe lol.
Just used this yesterday on my car that I havent washed in about 3 months. Came out to my car this morning and the morning dew was beaded up up my car. I am impressed after just one wash. There are not much suds though.

I used it after a few RUclipsrs said how good it was but didn't like it much. My baseline is meguiairs gold car wash, which is thicker, doesn't dry as fast, and never streaks. As far as water beading, I prefer to stack chemicals so this didn't really do anything incrementally special.
great video btw. I bought it for first time this sunday, i live in PR, so its humid, hot and rains alot. i was amazed on how good it protected the car from dirt, my first test was with a bird poop, my car sits in the sun, so it had dried but i was amzed on how bit only got stuck and with just a microfiber cloth and damped in a bit of water it camed off without scratching, dirt protection lasted till thursday, and it was raining all week
Good honest review, Pan. I was surprised by the concentration of 3:1 required for the cannon (if I did the math right). Wow, that's high. I use 5:1 for CG Honeydew and still go through it quickly. Understood the lack of suds in the bucket is expected with this product, but that's a no-go for me, coupled with the lack of lubricity. On the plus side, it did seem to add some decent beading but thats alone doesn't offset the other drawbacks. But, that's the point of reviews like this...demonstrate the product, offer your opinion and let the viewers decide if it's for them. Thanks for posting.
@@kristofk1902 That's one way to calculate it, but most commonly it's the ratio of actual product to water. 24oz water to 8oz product = 3:1, for a total amount of mixed product of 32oz.
For a quick protection it works, it’s horrible at decontamination but if your vehicle is already been stripped down to clean paint it’ll do a quick and dirty.
I like the review. I was thinking about trying it but hadn't yet. I have tried the ceramic glass product and that seemed to work pretty good and it was cheap here in the US like under 5 dollars. I like these type of videos. I don't do detailing as a career I just clean my own vehicles. I like seeing the lower end products turtle wax, meguairs, Adams, griot's garage. Thanks again for the video.
In between washes to remove the dust an such I use chemical guys synthetic quick detailer. Sooooo slick an easy on/ easy off with microfiber towels.. Going over 4 coats of Turtle wax Graphene coating. Thanks Matt
I use this as a final step when washing. Put some in the foam cannon, add water, foam the whole car (after washing it already), let it sit for a minute or so, then pressure wash thoroughly. Beads like crazy. Makes it easy to blow dry cars that don't have protection at all
8oz. for cannon use and 2oz. for a low-lubricity bucket wash doesn't seem to be economical or convenient. However, AA has been improving their overall line-up...
I used this yesterday on my 2020 Mustang Ecoboost (Iconic Silver). I was amazed at the result (I did the hand wash method). The instant it's applied and rinsed, the hydrophobic properties are instantaneous! One word of caution, it's best to use a quality chamois for drying. I tried the leaf blower and it left tiny tiny spots, so today I used a chamois in fresh water and it definitely cleared up that issue. I love this product!! I'll try the foam cannon next time. Recommended product
Great to see a test on a normal consumer grade product. I still think best value is a good quality soap and finish off with a great value product like Turtle wax. Thanks for the video and all your info.
I would agree, but it's not a fair comparison as Mr Pink is just a shampoo with no protection in it. You have to compare the Armor All ceramic shampoo to its competition like Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wash & Wax, Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Wash & Wax, Mothers ceramic shampoo, Adam's Graphene Shampoo, etc.
@@PanTheOrganizer -My point is these products claim to have and I quote from the back of the bottle of Armor all-"ph-balanced HIGH FOAMING formula. Which is a complete farce! I'd like to se products like these that can foam similar to Mr. Pink or Meguiars car wash. I had my truck graphene coated with Ethos so these products do little to quote protect my vehicle, it's the foaming action I'm interested in.
Have you ever heard of the “no bucket” method. Where the soaps are placed onto a clean mit and used on the car with heavy lubrications. Sprayed often to remove contaminants from the mit. And then more soap used. I would think a lot of soap would be used but with cheaper soaps like Meguiars Gold Class. It may not be a problem. Seems to be effective in terms of preventing love marks. Thoughts ?
The problem with a lot of car cleaning products are they try doing too much in just a one step product. This will probably work fine for those that do not really do much detailing on their car, but want a decent clean and some protection with the one time they do wash their car. I am glad though to see that they are making an effort to be relevant again. They have a long way to go with all the competition out there today.
Great video Pan! Well a professional wash this is not. It would be terrible to use as a pro trying to give the customer the best. For personal use I would say this is dangerous as someone in a hurry that would buy this probably won't spend the time to use it correctly. As a detailer, I would wonder how hard this stuff is to remove so I can put an actual ceramic coating on the vehicle. But again, awesome review Pan, Thanks again!
Thank you for the video Pan, and your honesty with this product. Personally, if a detailer by trade was using this method, it would take them a long time to do section by section and as we all know, time is money. As a "weekend warrior" such as myself, it seems like a long process with minimal results. Armor All can try, but if they want to play with the big boys, they need to read the reviews and work from there just like Turtle Wax did.
Well I'm one of those Weekend Warriors who gets to Wash their car once every 2 to 3 weeks due to Limitations from injuries. I'm used to washing my car and Rinsing One Quarter at a Time anyways, because even in Complete Shade here in Florida, Any Carwash Soap Streaks and Spots if it's left for a few minutes without Rinsing it, So this product hasn't changed that at all. What it has Changed is how dirty My Car looks between Washes. Virtually Nothing sticks to it. And the Results it left on My Mom's Super Low Mileage 2005 Mustang GT, that hasn't had any protection on it in 10 years, because it Lives in the Garage was Unreal. The Water Beaded and Sheeted Off like I had Just Polished & Coated it. Even the Depth and Gloss were Crazy after just one wash with This Product. My Mom couldn't believe it . Needless to say, I'm Sold.

Pretty good test although how long does it say to let it sit before wet or doesn’t matter I just know some of those ceramic washes want you to wait before washing it 😎👍
This almost reminds me of Griot's Garage Poly Gloss.. Foam on wash off protection.. I have not tried this Armoral product myself, as I have seen numerous other RUclips videos on it. But.. with Poly Gloss, you can spray the whole vehicle down let it cling for a while and then wash off
wow another great review PAN.. i`m using autobrite keramic infused shampoo at the end all the times... gives such a great finish after using it. Thanks for your work Pan.. we all apreciate it.
Well Pan, as always I really like your show. Learned so much. That said, if you are telling me you won’t do an aero cosmetics Wash Wax All test because your subscribers don’t ask for it…..I stand corrected, there must be a lot of Armor All fans.
I didn't say I would never do an Aero Cosmetics review. I said I would look into it if I get enough viewer requests for it, and so far that is not the case. On the other hand, I get request for Armor All products very often. It makes sense. Armor All is more widely known and has decades of brand recognition especially in North America. You can find them online and in pretty much all major big box retail stores and auto parts stores... Which we can't say about Aero Cosmetics. So yes as far as "popularity" is concerned, Armor All wipes the floor with Aero Cosmetics, and I'm sure the sales numbers reflect that. Does that mean that Aero Cosmetics isn't good? Nope. Has nothing to do with that. But again, I try and review things that my viewers are curious about, and this video proves that. It's been quite popular so far. I hope you better understand my thought process. I will give a try when I have some time for those Aero Cosmetics products one day, and if they're good I'll likely talk about them, but I don't expect much viewer interest as they are not as widely known... Heck I have never used their products and have been detailing for 24 years... I can't test everything that exists in the world, I would die trying.
@@PanTheOrganizer Thanks for the response Pan. After your thoughtful explanation I do understand your thought process. I just like you showing products that I haven’t tried. You got me on some Turtle Wax products that I will always be grateful for. Also you are right that Aero Cosmetics isn’t really well known. I live in North Dakota and it sure comes in handy in all seasons but especially in winter. Takes salt and grime off when I can’t give it a thorough wash especially underneath. Thanks for all you do and Happy Holidays
At 6:10, you mentioned the instructions said add two ounces into a bucket, but didn’t specify how many gallons. There wasn’t much foaming or slickness in the bucket method. You mentioned your bucket contained about three gallons of water. I wonder if the manufacturer wanted 2 ounces per gallon? This might explain lack of foam and slickness in the bucket method. As for me using this stuff? NO. After watching your video on KochChemie Gsf snow foam, I bought it and use it in my foam cannon. Incredible slickness and cleaning on a Jescar and Colonite 845 surface. The extra ceramic additive really doesn’t do anything to persuade me to buy this product. Thanks for the review! P.S. Amazon just delivered Bead Maker.
Thank you Pan for another awesome video!! After watching this video, I also agree with about the Armor All. Which car shampoo would you recommend that would prevent “love marks”?
Speaking of Mitts, the Meguiars hybrid wash is similar. Their hybrid mitt (which i love for RW’s) wad designed for the ceramic wash. The chenille side to clean the paint and MF side to spread out the ceramic particles.
This is a decent product from armor all, I think like you said they're making their way back. I have seen worse, this really was not terrible, light agitation and adding it to other protection I think would be beneficial. That telluride nightfall edition is beautiful though. I would love to see a video of a full detail maybe light polish and coating that would shine so nice. Awesome video Pan!
Thanks Sam! But just to be clear, I don't think they're making their way back up to the top just yet. This product wasn't the best in its category by any stretch of the imagination in my opinion, and they still have a long way to go before reaching the levels of Meguiar's, Turtle Wax and others in their consumer category.
@@PanTheOrganizer 100% agree, but for something available in so many stores like armor all this is a very good improvement for them. I hope in time they catch up. But the graphene flex wax is tough to beat. And meguiars is legendary all around
Hey Pan, I came across this video and I know it is 2 years old. Regarding Armor All products. I was in my local Walmart recently and I was looking in the automotive section. I came across Armor All Extreme Shield Protect & Shine Ceramic Wax. I think it was listed at about 11 bucks. I have been trying to find reviews on this product and see how good it really is. I can't seem to find any reviews on RUclips. Any chance of you doing a review on the Armor All Extreme Shield Protect & Shine Ceramic Wax? I am a fan of Turtle Wax Seal and Shine and Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating. I have watched comparisons of other products on your channel. Thank you for the quality reviews!
I can’t recommend Armor All products. For big box store or auto parts store type products, stick to Meguiar’s, Turtle Wax, Adam’s and Griot’s. See my Walmart video: ruclips.net/video/i2Hn_wOjcKg/видео.htmlsi=B6ubJUMvIS3mc39m
Great video, Would anyone recommend a good soap for a car wash in the sun? Wife got a new Honda and want to keep it nice and clean. As dad I only have free time on Saturdays mid day. Full sun is only option. I understand this wash would not do well. But I would like to use the best one that would handle the heat of summer. Thanks !
That's actually the worst time to wash a car. Ideally, you always wash early in the morning, or very late in the evening, always avoiding noon hours when the sun is at its hottest and brightest. And work in the shade, on a cool surface. If you work in direct sunlight in the heat and sun, you run the risk of water spots (especially if you don't have a deionizer filtration system) and a horrible experience of the shampoo drying on you too quickly. But if you have no other choice, make sure you pick up a pH neutral shampoo, to stand a fighting chance, like this: amzn.to/43Sxh5u For more tips on washing in direct sunlight, see my video here: ruclips.net/video/DebiLFBCHu8/видео.html Welcome to my channel. I use it just for the ceramic..so basically wash the car first with p&s shampoo, rinse it off then I foam the whole car down let it dwell for 40 seconds and spray it off 3oz of armor all in the foam cannon…it last up for two months
i started to use this last year and one thing i loved about it was how well it worked on my windshields, as weird as it sounds hahha, i live in oregon and it was raining pretty tough and it handled the rain and was beeding it up very well
Great stuff. Get the car clean first with a different wash, then put this in a foam gun. Foam Up the car. And DO NOT LET THIS DRY ON THE SURFACE. Work in small sections like the directions say. Hood, then fender , then door .. etc
Yeah, if you work quickly on a cool surface in the shade or garage, you would first wash your car normally (with another pH neutral wax free shampoo), and then once it's clean, use the foam cannon to spray the Armor All on the surface, quickly agitate it with a microfiber mitt or towel, and rinse.

Pan, please do a review of Chemical Guys Glossworkz Auto Wash(Car Shampoo)
How expensive is it to have a water drain in your garage?
Section by section and the fact that if it dries a little it’s a mess to get off and clean makes this a little more work then it’s worth in my opinion. Mr. Pink through the foam cannon has never steered me wrong!!
Definitely does not seem worth the work. Meguiars gold class is a great store brand wash. But Adams car shampoo is the best I’ve tried so far.
I agree. I use Mr Pink too bc it’s one of the very few good CG products. Great foam through a canon and great lubrication
I have noticed mr pink actually it’s kinda of harsh on wax or coated cars. I wouldn’t use it a my regular wash soap
I like this stuff. In a bucket I use 3 oz to approximately 1 1/2g of water. I have had good water beading results. I also use a foam cannon. I spray the entire vehicle then hit it with a wash mitt. Great results.
Tried it yesterday and completely agree. Foam then bucket with soap worked well for me.
😂👍🏻
I'm actually very surprised at how the single wash resulted in such good water beading. I have noticed that any ceramic infused soap doesn't work very well at lifting harsh dirt or bug marks. So this would probably be a great maintenance wash on a weekly wash schedule where the vehicle doesn't get really dirty. Thank you Pan, this was an awesome test and it turned out well!
Thanks Allen!
I agree. Armor all was one of the first brands I used. And turtle wax.
Your evaluations are fair and unbiased. Thank you.
Thanks Tedly! I appreciate the trust you place in my opinion.
I'm a Reset fan too
Thanks!!
To me, the fact that you have to use a wash mitt to agitate the snow foam on the vehicle's surface completely goes against the idea of a snow foam, which is to remove dirt before the contact wash. Super video Pan!
Thanks Archie!
Thanks Tim!
Never buy this stuff!!!! EVER!!!!!!!!!!
I’m a huge Meguiars product fan. With that being said the one product line I would never use is armor all. Im about to watch your vid and I’m hoping this is at least acceptable. In my opinion, armor all had A LOT of catching up to do. Love your tips and tricks, Pan!
We said the same of turtle wax a few short years ago. Not many saying that anymore.
@@ChadSzorvas yep!

Great review! I also like how You're changing up the layout of Your videos! Armor All was huge in the 80's!! We all loved it! I'll pick up some of this to try.

Thank you so much Pan for this review..Our very own Pan the Legend 🇨🇦
Thanks Kunal!
Thank you Douglas! Glad to see you are enjoying my content!
Agreed
NEVER USE THIS PRODUCT!!!! It’s worse than terrible… will NOT come off your vehicle… stay away from this
when i saw this and before seeing any videos, i washed my vehicle with reg snow from then i used this as a stand alone foamed vehicle with the ceramic wash let it sit for a min and rinsed off no agitating and it still beaded up im pretty impressed with it. i basically depending on my shade foamed the whole vehicle one shot and rinsed and lasted for several months.
Honest review. Thank you. Product seems to have too many drawbacks. I want a shampoo that does it all. If the product was half the price, I'd understand. The chemist needs to go back to the drawing board. Thanks Pan!
Thanks Kim!
Yeah. Seems more like a ceremic topper than a wash. 😬
Been using it for awhile, best carwash I ever used.
Armor All Comeback...Not a chance. To put it into perspective. They are so dumb, they made a "Ceramic Wheel Cleaner." They have no idea what that marketing buzzword means.
Yeah, the ceramic glass has an abrasive "sandblasting" effect on your new alloys.🤔🤨
Good to see your videos Pan thanks for your unselfish attitude. Blessings from LA California my friend 🙏🙏🙏
Thanks Ramiro! Have a great weekend!
Hi Pan,
I love your videos and since I subscribed I have using more and more of the products you have tested and reviewed.

Another honest realistic review. ..thanks Pan 👍

Yeah I been curious about their window cleaner with ceramic. Thanks dude. Really good video. 👍
Thanks! How did you discover my channel?
Pan, good, solid review on this product. You saved me $22 - - I have enough mediocre products on my shelves already! Thank you.
You are so welcome!
I washed the whole car, at once... just the bucket wash method at 2 ounces per gallon & not in the sun. It turned out fine. Protection lasted about 4 to 6 weeks with no topper
Yeah 1 to 2 months of durability is what I'm getting for feedback from my viewers.

Great review Pan, I like the way you tell it as it is, a great honest review keep up the good work 👍👍
I appreciate that!
great video btw.
I'm a car wash RUclipsr, too. I learned a lot.
I think it would be 4:1 because it would be 32 oz water divided by the 8 oz solutions which = 4
@@kristofk1902 That's one way to calculate it, but most commonly it's the ratio of actual product to water. 24oz water to 8oz product = 3:1, for a total amount of mixed product of 32oz.
Agree 100% with your review.
Thanks Ken!
For a quick protection it works, it’s horrible at decontamination but if your vehicle is already been stripped down to clean paint it’ll do a quick and dirty.
The TW equivalent performs way better after watching this video. Thanks.
Yes I agree, I also found in my tests that the TW performs better.
Thanks Kenny
Stay away from this product
In between washes to remove the dust an such I use chemical guys synthetic quick detailer. Sooooo slick an easy on/ easy off with microfiber towels.. Going over 4 coats of Turtle wax Graphene coating.
Thanks

Very thorough. Good stuff Pan.
Thanks Pete!!
Great review. You say it as it is, thank you!
Thanks Nahum!
Thank you for the review. I tried it myself and thought it was horrible and a total waste of money.
Thanks for sharing your experience as well.
Ditto
Very insightful review and as always very useful details. Thank you Pan.
Glad it was helpful!
I use this as a final step when washing. Put some in the foam cannon, add water, foam the whole car (after washing it already), let it sit for a minute or so, then pressure wash thoroughly. Beads like crazy. Makes it easy to blow dry cars that don't have protection at all
Glad to see the review. I bought it during the summer and yes small panels at a time. Can’t be used if your trying to do a quick wash. Thank you.
Exactly. Someone letting that sit on the entire car for long periods in the baking sun will run into streaking issues big time.
8oz. for cannon use and 2oz. for a low-lubricity bucket wash doesn't seem to be economical or convenient.
Thanks Steve!
That was a paaaaaaaaaaaantastic review.....great job
Thanks Mike!
Turtle wax has been releasing a lot of higher end products so maybe armorall can do the same
I bought this and Mr. Pink-I use a foam cannon and Mr. Pink BLOWS this out of the water!
I reviewed this months ago this stuff is great tfs buddy
Have you ever heard of the “no bucket” method. Where the soaps are placed onto a clean mit and used on the car with heavy lubrications. Sprayed often to remove contaminants from the mit. And then more soap used. I would think a lot of soap would be used but with cheaper soaps like Meguiars Gold Class. It may not be a problem. Seems to be effective in terms of preventing love marks. Thoughts ?
Awesome Work!
Thanks Aman!
It looks like it's a shampoo to wash an already clean car...😀
And the need of 8 onces for the gun seems like a lot.
Agreed
Thanks!
Terrible stuff!!! STAY AWAY FROM IT
Thank you for the video Pan, and your honesty with this product.
I love that stuff you got to use it several times before it to work sort of build up on your car I've been using it for 2 months and I love it
Very hydrofobic very slick to best part you can get this at Walmart tfs buddy
Very good review, as usual !
Thanks!
Looks like a good soap for regular people, the non ocd car washing crowd who don’t wash and then protect their car.
That would be a good assessment. 👍🏻
I like it as a second wash. Great review!
Thanks for watching!
I had great results in direct sunlight and dark panels. Zero water spots and looks amazing after I dried the car
Thanks for sharing. How did you discover my channel by the way Devin?
Welcome to my channel. You discovered one of the biggest car detailing channels on RUclips as we surpassed 830,000 subscribers and 100 million views! I have been detailing for 25 years and I love to share my knowledge and passion with my viewers.
You found the right channel to help you learn everything about detailing.
Pretty good test although how long does it say to let it sit before wet or doesn’t matter I just know some of those ceramic washes want you to wait before washing it 😎👍
Merci Pan ! Excellent vidéo 👍🏽. J'aimerais bien le même genre de test, mais en utilisant le Adam's Graphene shampoo !!
Merci Danny!
This almost reminds me of Griot's Garage Poly Gloss..
Foam on wash off protection..
I have not tried this Armoral product myself, as I have seen numerous other RUclips videos on it.
But.. with Poly Gloss, you can spray the whole vehicle down let it cling for a while and then wash off
Yes Poly Gloss is better in my opinion. I made a video here: ruclips.net/video/pnruHk0kZqQ/видео.html
wow another great review PAN.. i`m using autobrite keramic infused shampoo at the end all the times... gives such a great finish after using it. Thanks for your work Pan.. we all apreciate it.
Thanks Efaxas!
Thanks Pan for another great video👌
My pleasure!
Thanks for the review very informative
Thanks Ricardo! How did you discover my channel by the way?
Thanks for sharing your experience Keith!
Thank you Pan for another awesome video!! After watching this video, I also agree with about the Armor All. Which car shampoo would you recommend that would prevent “love marks”?
Thanks for watching David! My favourite shampoos are in my 2021 awards video: ruclips.net/video/LkD22UGujmw/видео.html
Great job, very informative
Thanks Maher!
I believe that the correct ratio is 2oz per gall :-)
Speaking of Mitts, the Meguiars hybrid wash is similar. Their hybrid mitt (which i love for RW’s) wad designed for the ceramic wash. The chenille side to clean the paint and MF side to spread out the ceramic particles.
Many of my viewers want me to test the orange bottle Meguiar's SiO2 shampoo. I'll look into it!

@@PanTheOrganizer I guess you have your reasons why you can't recommend Armor All products. No sweat.
But if you have no other choice, make sure you pick up a pH neutral shampoo, to stand a fighting chance, like this: amzn.to/43Sxh5u

@@PanTheOrganizer Thank you for your help!
I use it just for the ceramic..so basically wash the car first with p&s shampoo, rinse it off then I foam the whole car down let it dwell for 40 seconds and spray it off 3oz of armor all in the foam cannon…it last up for two months
I absolutely would love to see you test Dura Coating Products...I've bought a few of there items and would love your thought on them.
Pan, loved the video, thanks heaps! Are you able to test Gtechniq G4 ceramic car wash, looks like it might be good😎😎😎
Thanks Claudia!
Wow. 8oz per wash? That means that one bottle only provides a few washes at $12-$15.
Thanks for the review.
i started to use this last year and one thing i loved about it was how well it worked on my windshields, as weird as it sounds hahha, i live in oregon and it was raining pretty tough and it handled the rain and was beeding it up very well
Thanks for sharing!
@@PanTheOrganizer no thank you the pan the myth the legend
Great stuff.
Get the car clean first with a different wash, then put this in a foam gun. Foam
Up the car.
Don’t bother with this product
Well I ordered 3 avalon kits used 2 on my truck. I must try this carwash
Or use the AvalonKing SiO2 maintenance spray which I tested here: ruclips.net/video/bJQf-sIwnX4/видео.html
