I feel so so so lucky that I can own this amount of handbags through my work for the last decade but it's time to downsize and donate to charity in the process!

Yes you read that correctly! I'm selling HALF of my bags and giving a huge portion to charity in addition to my usual Frowmas charity donations! I feel so so so lucky that I can own this amount of handbags through my work for the last decade but it's time to downsize and donate to charity in the process!
If you are interested in purchasing any of the bags I mention parting with in the video, please do email diane@inthefrow.com with the subject line 'CHARITY HANDBAG SALE' and in the body of the email specify the bag and the amount you would be willing to offer (should you be happy on receipt of detailed images of the bag in question of course) as this will make the process streamlined for my team.

I think giving to food kitchens is a good option or books/supplies for a poor school. Also, here in OZ there are a couple of guys who run a mobile shower for the homeless, which I think is brilliant...

There were so many bags you showed that I can't remember you ever wearing - when you asked "should I keep it?" I just kept yelling NOOOOO. haha as my mom likes to say, "if it's a maybe, it's a no." I think this is great that you're downsizing! Both for the charity aspect, but also just to streamline your collection and make room for things you absolutely love.
Agree on the maybes going on the sell pile, though the white Chanel maybe a keeper ;)

Hi Victoria, Zarach Leeds is a child bed poverty charity run by a deputy head school teacher here in Yorkshire. They aim to stop displaced children (usually escaping domestic abuse) from having to sleep on the floor in their clothes, and provide them with free beds, bedding, pj’s etc. Thank you for what you are doing, you have never lost your self-awareness which is very much part of your appeal. Lovely to see a fellow northerner doing so well and still in touch with her roots. Love and hugs to you, Alex and beautiful Boe ✨🎄✨

And just wanted to say that wow you made what can be a real display of wealth or extravagance into a video that was so down to earth and full of kindness and good will. I'm nz based but spent the last few years in the uk and have been feeling all kinds of worry for the uk and especially the vulnerable people there. I love that you're looking for a hands on, on the ground charity that you can make a real difference for. I am very pleasantly suprised by how down to earth you are! I feel a LOT of luxury content creators are very detatched and so all consumed in the world of material things that there is a lack of connection and i guess normality. :) I loved watching your declutter and very pleased that you are willing to part with so many for a good cause.
Hey Victoria, Food Cycle is an amazing UK charity where volunteers (like my mum!) in local communities collect surplus food approaching expiry date from major supermarkets and cook up big batch meals for people in need in the community!! Not only does it help feed people, but it gives them a warm place to socialise for the evening (also great for lonely older people!) I spent a year helping out with a branch and feel it’s exactly the sort of thing you’d love to support 🥰
I think it’s amazing you are giving to charity whilst refreshing your closet. In your job some bags are only supposed to be with you a short period of time to be loved and then moved on, while some will stay staples or sentimental. No harm in either x

I would buy that Chanel trendy as is. I love a distressed bag, it’s easy and very fitting with my grungy style and probably why I desire vintage Birkins over brand new ones. Love that you’re not precious! Your bags are getting the love they we’re intended for.
I’d keep the pale green/white Strathberry! Love that you do this charitable donation… you’re so beautiful, inside & out 💜
Also, I use paste wax on all my leather. It doesn’t discolor and restores any scratches/ scuffs and seems to prevent new ones 💜👜

I'm a mostly silent (but loyal!) watcher but can't not comment on this video. Such a beautiful bag collection with such a wide range, but what really got me is that you are willing to sell your beautiful possessions in order to help others. The state of our country makes my heart break at the moment and I know that as a small household we are doing everything we can to help. Seeing you do this and also being more awareness to helping charities is amazing. I can only hope others take note and do something similar (if in the position to). All the love Victoria
I live in New Zealand you're my fave content creator of all time by far, been watching you for years. Appreciate how humble and intentional you are with how you hold space, not just a bag collection but purposeful in your desire to want to give back to less fortunate communities & charities. One of my favourite charities to donate to is Crisis. At Christmas they allocate meals to the homeless people and provide help and support, things like haircuts and dental work as well as a place to feel welcome and safe. When you donate online you get the option to add a message and see other people donate too. It's a really worthy charity and one I'd recommend as an option for you.

We just donated to a wonderful charity in the Netherlands where they buy present for children during the holidays who grow up in poverty. There probably is a similar charity in the uk or more locally. Sometimes communities also know of people in need who could use something extra for their kids during these times. Love that you plan on donating soo much.

Scottys little soldiers is a amazing charity, it supports children of military personnel who have been killed in war, terrorism or illness. It was created by the widow of a corporal killed in Afghanistan and they do the most amazing job xx 👜

I remember when you gave us a tour of the BULGARI factory, and like a little kid, I probably watched it 5 times at least BC of the excellent craftsmanship AND my favourite part: creating the jeweled serpent closures! I mean WoW!

What a collection?!?! Amazing! Another thing I love about it, is that the brands are of such a wide range cost wise, without compromising of style and material. Everything is so beautiful. That said - you've got a tough task here. And assuming you'll keep buying bags, it's def time to downsize. After watching the vid - I'd group like colored, style bags and purge that way. There were some different, but very similar bags you had. That may help with your decision making.

A Bvulgari top handle bag is at the top of my dream wish list…if I could ever dare to part with so much money on a bag. I bought my first strathberry bag a couple of years ago, from your recommendation of a mid-range bag and have worn it to death, I absolutely love it! If I could ever have a bag collection like yours I’d feel so lucky and never want to part with any of them!

I’m so mad at myself for selling my vintage Chanel bags 😢 I got into a really crappy financial situation and needed to sell some things quickly so I figured I’d just buy them again in the future as they were starting to wear down a bit. Anyway, fast forward 8 years later and I’m absolutely SHOOK by how much the price of Chanel bags have increased!! I hadn’t really been paying attention until recently when I decided I wanted a Chanel bag again & I’m totally mind blown! 🤯 Your also right about the resale market being even more expensive. The same bags I sold 8 years ago have tripled in price on resale sites. Ughh 🤦🏼♀️ 🤦🏼♀️ 🤦🏼♀️

It's so refreshing that a blogger give money to charity. There's so many charitys that need help. The one I love is a group helping homeless animals in Ukraine think it's furry friends. There are thousands of animals that were just left by there owners and now wander the streets in search of food. It breaks my heart they have videos on utube even 17 dollars a mth helps

-keep the orange mulberry
-the bottega dumpling has to gooo
-definitely sell the yellow tory burch since you already have the two yellow beauties
-the pink valentino seems dated to me

You absolutely could sell that Tory Burch backpack! I love how much love you show for your bags. They look perfect even though I can tell they’re well loved and well-worn.
I would advise you to make a grid with colours one way and use the other. Personally i put the size, but it's because i'm the type to bring way too much with me for everything, for most people i think the use (work, casual, party,...) is more sensible. That way you know you have enough variety and you also but the options in the same category against each other, you heart then can choose easily

With regards to charities, I've previously worked with a baby bank local to me and I know there's organisations across the country. They work to support families in poverty who are struggling to provide their children with things like warm clothing, essential toiletries etc.
With the cost of living crisis and the energy crisis going on I think that would be a wonderful avenue for you to explore. xx

Cash for Kids is a great charity to donate to, they are making sure that every child gets a Christmas present this year and no one is left out, they also do work throughout the year getting kids school essentials and making sure families get hot meals 👛👛👛

I think you made some good calls for the sale pile, like the Dior Bobby and 30 Montaigne bag. Same with the Bottega bags. Though I can see why you don’t want to part with the Bulgari bags. I think I gasped with each one you produced. Stunning artistry, design and craftsmanship, which dare I say, made a lot of the bags before or after look a bit flat. Stunning collection ❤ I’d keep the rockstud spike though. Anything studded is always a winner. Good luck and I hope you raise alot in the sale

Also appreciate that although you had to qualify why you have so many and that you recognize it’s a blessing etc etc etc (bc ppl apparently HAVE to overtly state these things in videos like these… otherwise someone will mouth off and make rude claims) I just appreciate that you state the obvious and don’t drone on and on, bc the fact is that ppl will say BS either way, and I like the fact that you are confident, empathetic, down to earth and relatable… but you’re also a smart businesswoman whose successful- and I’m HAPPY for you! I appreciate that you know your truth…
I hate that ppl always feel pressured to qualify why they like and have nice things… when ppl are, in part, watching you bc of that very reason… bc you inspire ppl to dress and express themselves stylishly and classy and have great ideas and viewpoints and recommendations… It’s your JOB and ppl shouldn’t compare/judge themselves based on what brand and how many bags they have/wear… and I like that you impart that message within content heavily based around luxury products. You’re special that way… bc ppl watch for you and your personality and you bring us into that world that many don’t have the opportunity to live… and show us all how to have a bit of luxury in our lives and that it doesn’t necessarily mean “expensive”, there’s so much more, but I love that you inoire me to dress diff. I love seeing your bag collection. I've never seen the pink Bulgari bag (the one you showed after the tennis style) and it's gorgeous.
Here's my list haha:
Sell: orange Mulberry, Bottega pouches, nude Valentino, white Dior (could the name be Caro? I don't remember either), pink LV, grey Dior, Valentino tote, animal print one, silver Valentino, suede Strathberry, Chanel wallet, black LV.
Keep: beige Coach, Fendi tote, little Boe Boe (♥), Dior Montagne.
The best part is that I remember when you got many of these bags. It's a sentimental ride for me too hahaha. So lovely that you want to do a donation afterwards, big love to you darling xx
I absolutely adore your collection! So glad to see you still own the navy Chanel WOC. Loved it since the minute you showed it years ago. Also the Strathberry collaboration bags! I was so sad 4 years ago that I wasn’t financially able to buy one of the minis. Still love the colours to this day! You deserve everything! ❤

I know you are a local girl from Wigan which is very close to where I live and work which is Bolton. I work for a domestic violence charity named FortAlice. I work in the childrens team supporting children who are currently either living with conflict, have previously been subject to or have their own unhealthy relationships. Our work is all reliant on funding which you can imagine is so difficult at times. We have a refuge for women who have fled very traumatic events and currently house many women and children. A donation from yourself would be life changing for many families this year and for the year going forward.
