    Quantum Pro fabric has a microporous membrane on the back of the fabric. Similar to Gore Infinium, it is technically waterproof, with a HH of 1000. However, it is not marketed as a waterproof fabric as one, 1000HH is too low to be called waterproof, and two, every stitch hole will allow water to come through. But, it does make it very water resistant, even if you don’t reapply DWR as often as you should. :) fun fact

    thanks for the video. Would u recommend it as a winter jacket? In europe its like minus 0-10 degress. Or do you have any other recommendation?

      At -10°C, layering will be key. Start with a quality base layer, add a good fleece for insulation, and then top it off with the Cirrus Ultra. This combination should provide the warmth you’re looking for in those conditions.

    Would you suggest it over Microlight Infinity for practical use? I love the Firecracker colour of the microlight Infinity a lot but practicality wise & price wise this Cirus Ultra makes more sense. Please guide & advise 🙏

      The Microlight Infinity is a great option, especially if you’re drawn to the Firecracker colour! However, it won’t be as warm as the Cirrus Ultra, which offers more insulation. The best choice really depends on what you’re planning to use it for. If you let us know your plans we can provide some additional advice

    How does it compare to the Xenair Alpine Jacket? Thanks

    • @tauntonleisure
      @tauntonleisure  Месяц назад +3

      The Xenair would be a step up from the Cirrus and defiantly orientated more toward active use. It is more breathable thanks to the combination of Pertex Quantum air face fabric and PrimaLoft Gold Insulation Active+ this also makes it more insulated than the Cirrus.

    considering I was delivered a defective Rab Ascent down jacket with a broken defective zip, Rab deserves not to be in business with their very poor quality control china made down jackets 😡 .
