These Fatalities are the most brutal 'Alities I've seen yet. They have the same amount of blood, gore and just brutal attacks as the others but the devil is in the details. Or maybe it's just Reptile's voice actor nails it. You can hear as the murdering ramps up and it starts to hurt more and more up until all he can do is scream/yell. Just listen, he goes ugh, Ugh, UGH! uuuhhhhaaRrrRrrRRRGG, AAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGG, UGH-UH-UGH-UGH-AHHHH! Starting off as groans as he tries to endure until he can't and ramping up until blood curdling as he's being shredded or disembowled.
The only 2 worth a damn might I add. The distance shot and finish scene and blurry imagery and rushed execution. With a heavy play, safe illustration of This MK game is horrible All the fatalities are underwhelming . After you watch it once, it's like ok. Really could care less about watching any of them again. Li Mei's Roman Candle fatality is easily one of the coolest looking and most unique ones imo. Also love the TOASTY easter egg with Johnny Cage's second fatality at 3:12!
after the story mode, some of these actually look a bit out of character, since most of the fighters in this timeline haven't been shown to be so brutal and more honorable (Liu-Kang himself says in the story mode that the MK tournament they were celebrating were friendly spars and no one has ever been seriously injured or killed), it's hard to imagine for example Raiden or Liu-Kang actually doing those fatalities to people in this timeline, or Johny destroying someone's face with concrete before taking a selfie with them after we saw him visually traumatized/shocked in the story when he witnessed the brutality of a crazy Mileena gouging Kenshi's eyes out.
the fatalities definitely make me think these are no 'heroes', but just a battle of psychopaths. I liked the Kameo fatalities more than the long drawn out torturous character fatalities
@@cyryc Feels like the characters from the story mode and the ones from the normal battle mode where fatalities are allowed were totally different characters. If it wasn't because some of them even have wholesome dialogues referencing the story before the battles begin. I know MK thing are the fatalities, just saying that after knowing how these characters actually treat each other honorably in the story in this timeline the fatalities now just seem like forced fanservice just to keep the essence of the series rather than things the characters would actually do.
I literally feel so bad for all these characters, you can literally hear the cries of pain, which signifies they are probably feeling an immense amount of pain. :(

It really fascinates me how the newer games changed in style so much. Like, MK X was so dark in tone and colors, then came 11 with brighter atmosphere and now MK 1 combines both.
These are the gnarliest fatalities ever, so much better than the previous game where they all felt the same with it ending mid body exploding saying “fatality” those got old super quick. These are great.
Homage or weak creative minds that had to steal multiple of these from other sources. The freezing possibilities with subzero make this a weak effort, IMO.
The very first kill in the film was sliced across the head by the tongue.. Then another guy in the same scene has his leg sliced.. It's like they mashed those slices into a single fashion and made it his Fatality. Does that make sense?
The best fatalities are usually the ones where the whole thing feels cohesive. Not random moves were they attack the person followed by something completely different that has no flow or connection to the previous thing they did. Sometimes they do a few things then just make it all pointless because they blow em up or something at the end, I think the last MK did that quite a bit and I always thought those fatalities were messy because of it. The best ones are always either nicely creative, flow well or are simple yet effective (e.g GERAS'S 2ND FATALITY)
Almost thought that demon woman or devil had the quake symbol on her chest xD -> at 12:24. I just love the badass ending of the fatalities. Its about to be over and the second charchter already marches on the scene :D. Then the slowmo. Just too good.

It really fascinates me how the newer games changed in style so much. Like, MK X was so dark in tone and colors, then came 11 with brighter atmosphere and now MK 1 combines both.
I personally love how bright and vibrant MK1 is. Fittingly reminiscent of early games and their emphasis on fun :D
I think a lot of these could be better. But Geras' time loop is cool.

7:55 is it just me or Smoke's 2nd Fatality was inspired from the opening scene of Ninja Assassin Film? That was pretty sweet

The very first kill in the film was sliced across the head by the tongue.. Then another guy in the same scene has his leg sliced.. It's like they mashed those slices into a single fashion and made it his Fatality. Does that make sense?

The best fatalities are usually the ones where the whole thing feels cohesive.
Not random moves were they attack the person followed by something completely different that has no flow or connection to the previous thing they did. Sometimes they do a few things then just make it all pointless because they blow em up or something at the end,
I think the last MK did that quite a bit and I always thought those fatalities were messy because of it.
The best ones are always either nicely creative, flow well or are simple yet effective (e.g GERAS'S 2ND FATALITY)
