Thank you dansing007 for stopping by! I'm glad you liked the work I've done and you won't have wait long for some exciting new numbers that you can apply to your defensive decisions. I've finished compiling the numbers I want to share for individual heroes and they really put things in perspective on how to best use them. Cheers!
Thank you Frank! Knowledge is power, and what I think people find attractive about my videos is that these numbers are generated by exactly what happened. They can help you dig even deeper to garner a small edge over the status quo. Thanks for watching and sharing! More to come very soon!
Hi.. I’m rather late coming to the party, but I really enjoyed this video… I prefer your analytical approach, as opposed to guessing games… stats often reveal surprising answers in other fields, like medicine & science, with which I’m more familiar. I really appreciate the work you must put in to provide these data; I’ve subscribed and will definitely pass on the salient facts to my alliance… thank you!
Thanks Karen for your kind words! Like you, I prefer some proof or at least real world data to help me make decisions or discover certain trends that can be useful in this game. I'm not going to lie though, collecting this data is a grind, and i'm behind on my second year of the study but I'll eventually crunch all the numbers I'm collecting to bring you the most recent trends. The landscape is continuously changing with new heroes coming out so fast that it is difficult to stay on top of things. In any case, I'm behind on my videos but endeavour to get back into it shortly. Thanks again for stopping by to comment; it really means a lot. Regards, Ssnake
That was us who won 5/5. We did just win our 6th in a row using purple tank and dual yellow flanks. Gullinbursti being one of the flanks created many many donuts.
Thanks for another interesting video, I really love them! One piece of constructive (I hope) criticism: Spend less time on the low occurrences. I do understand you like to present all the data, but honestly something that 5 people in 1000 have done is simply not representative for the whole. If those were 5 top players with the best heroes in the game they will have a high win rate, no matter how bad the plan behind it was and vice versa. You will be over/understating most likely how good/bad they are. I suggest you find a cut-off, say 10 or 20 or whatever occurrences (you could maybe run a significance test for that or just pick an arbitrary number for simplicity) and then present the data, but make them grey rather than green/yellow/red. In general I am rather certain people do not understand how low sample size affects results. Making the numbers grey, shows that the numbers should not be used for making decisions and they most certainly should not. Keep up the great work and I am looking forward to seeing more! Especially when you´ll look into the individual heroes. 1 healer in tank generally is a good idea for all war types, but I am guessing it matter a lot which healer you use. I doubt good old Rigard will give the same survivability that Xnolphod gives as an example.
Hi G Pac. Trust me, I've fought internally on what to do with the low occurrence rates. Ultimately, I decided it is best to show them so that people can make their own determinations as to whether the small sample is the beginning of a trend or is just a fluke. I will take your advice though and really put emphasis in the future what a small sample size really means. The grey colour to dampen numbers that should be taken with a grain of salt is a good idea. Thanks for watching! As for the healers, yes, it matters and you are also correct that we will see this in the individual hero videos. I just released the first one for Alfrike; once I get enough feedback about the format, I will start pushing the others out as fast as possible. Again, thanks for taking the time to write me, it is much appreciated and I like honest feedback. It is the only way to know how to grow. Cheers!
Life got really busy… keep posting I hope I can watch more later I love these so much!!! Just don’t have the time I used too I’d love to see some 5 min quick ones 😍👍🐼💕. Not for wars.. these are needed to explain in detail as you are doing so we can learn how to play not just be told what to do… but maybe on heros … oh wait a alfrik video yayayya
I hear you loud and clear Pandita! This first video for individual heroes was longer than I wanted but I had to take some time for explaining the new reporting format and talking about the challenge I issued about the mystery hero. All the next ones will be much quicker, I promise! I'll be working on some tonight and over the weekend. Stay well!
Great stuff again. Lately I’ve been wondering if it’s always in the best interest of an alliance to run everyone on the same tank color. It looks like for arrow wars it might be good to put a strong healer in as a tank. I guess the question is then, is it better to have a strong healer as a tank or to have everyone in the alliance have the same tank color? Do you have any sense about that if an alliance was going to choose a strategy?
Great question. I personally feel it is still important to draw out the strong colour from the opposing team. It could coincide with the loss of people's strongest heroes after use, but seeing the one-shots tapper off towards the end of a war tells me this could be because attackers are now having to resort to weak (colour-wise) teams, or neutral at best. This may need more investigation. Also, remember I've just broken the surface of what makes the best teams for defense as I've only so far focussed on healers. Shortly, we will see how other types of heroes can optimize our defense teams (if you haven't seen the Attack Boost video, check it out for a sneak peak). Individual heroes will start rolling out today or tomorrow and I think you might find these fascinating as well.
Really good Video (: what is with the Taunt Heroes as a Tank or the Minion Makers. Are they considered as a Healer? A strong Minion can be like a small to medium heal ( extra Hp ) in my eyes (: What’s you’re Opionion there?
Hi Tobi and thanks for the comment. No, I do not bundle Taunt heroes or minion summoners into the healers group (unless they were to also heal). If you see my Attack Boost video, I mention that I will also explore those types of heroes. You will also be able to see those kinds of results with the individual hero stats I am currently putting together. I agree somewhat that a minion can be like a heal in some cases as it gives some synthetic HP. However, unlike heals, minions present a risk in some cases where attackers benefit from you having them, and they can make you pay for it too. Think Grimble, Uraeus, Skadi, Eloise, etc. I'll explore this further though as there is quite a bit of interest in how minion summoners fit into the equation. Great question, I won't know the definitive answer though until I crunch those numbers but I will.
Alright, I have your answer. I broke down the Arrow Barrage, 2 healers at W-T group into 4 categories: W-T where reviver is on the wing (18): 31.5% W-T where reviver is at tank (6): 28.2% W-T where there are no revivers (29): 37.7% W-T where both are revivers (4): 41.6% The sample size is small for a couple of them, but nonetheless, here it is.

Is there a distinction in 2 healers W-T between wing healer being reviver or not?
