Which manufacturer of hearing aid are you wearing? Does it have all of these features? Matthew
Hello,
I currently use Phonak CIC for my moderate-to-advanced hearing loss. However, since I haven’t been able to get satisfactory results from CICs, I plan to transition to a next-generation AI-powered behind-the-ear device. I was considering Starkey Edge AI, Phonak Sphere Infinio, and to some extent, Oticon Intent. It’s great to see new devices entering the market, like the Resound Vivia. I hope Widex catches up with this trend before it’s too late. In terms of sound quality, the device I’ve been most satisfied with so far was from Widex.
Is there any option for trade-in of my almost unused new Resound Omnia 9 rechargeable w/ M&RIE for the new model? If yes, who I can turn to? Thank you for your input, highly appreciated. I’m 77-yr of age senior on limited fixed income.
Loved the editing on this. Well done Matthew!
Thanks Abram! Matthew
Thanks for the heads-up!
Hey Robert, no worries. I'l get my full review up as soon as I have had the chance to test them properly. Matthew
Another benefit of LE Bluetooth is the range. I can stream from my iPhone and walk to another room or two and the signal doesn’t drop! Classic Bluetooth would drop even when I put the phone in my pocket. For me, this was a game changer.
What device are you connecting to your iPhone that uses auracast?
Thanks for sharing CJS! Matthew
You are mixing up Bluetooth LE and LE audio which are too different things. LE audio is not support on iphone yet. I hope it will be supported on the iphone 17. As for Bluetooth LE, it sucks. Havingt ried the Phonaks with Bluetooth Classic, this is way better.
I didn't see it very accurately, but the mic inlets seem quite similar to those in the Nucleus 8 sound processor after removing the filters.
To my knowledge, Phonak Audeo Infinio Sphere can operate for approximately 7-8 hours using the AI Sphere Speech Clarity program, provided no 3-hour limit is imposed by default in Phonak Target (or a user would put the HA on the charger for a while to reset the 3-hour period).
You are correct! Matthew
Hello Matthew could you tell us more about the Resound Savi ? It seems that is also another hearing aid which will release as the same time as the Resound Vivia. Thank you in advance.
It looks like there may be a disposable battery size 13 option in the rie 62? If so, great! I will only buy disposable battery. Chargers don't always work, they are expensive to replace or have an extra of, and one can be without hearing aids if they forget or can't charge. Battery replacement often must be a send out service.
Hey Lucky! Yes it's a 13 battery with telecoil! Matthew
Which hearing aids have the most natural sound? I fear that the technology - feature chase has led to compromised quality of sound. For example, I love my Jabra (Resound One) hearing aids but I often use them in "music" mode where many of the advanced features are turned off. It just sounds more natural. Natural sound quality is my personal top priority. Thank you. ps: my audiologist is recommending Phillips for a more natural sound. Any thoughts?
I’ve been fitting a lot of phonak sphere lately.. but with this having a non-rechargeable option and being a lot smaller it is very intriguing
Hey Lolprinses! Yes I agree! I'd love to hear your feedback once you've started fitting them. Matthew
I have the new Phonak Infinio Sphere's and like them so far. They are big, which in itself (visually) is not an issue for me, but they tend to hurt a little more than my previous, smaller ones (Paradise). The battery life has not become an issue thus far (surprisingly), but if I know that ill be in the Sphere mode several times throughout the day, I try to get a quick charge in.
I trialed the Resound Nexia but with a Samsung phone, they simply weren't able to hold a connection, which is incredibly frustrating. I suspect these would have the same issue.
Hello sir i have tinnitus from 1.5 year should i use hearing aid
You should certainly have your hearing tested! Matthew
Do you know if they will release a BTE version?
For now there are only RICS. I'd imagine in a year or two we will though. Matthew
Is there anything suitable for severe/profound Matthew?
Hey Finovox, it really depends on the extent of your loss! Speak with your audiologist. Matthew
available at your local Costco?
Nope.
Auracast seems to be "coming soon" feature for 2 years+ now. I got, never seen it in real life though.
we've been told we'll all see benefits after 2036 - yikes
Auracast is a sales pitch that isn’t going to be important now. Maybe in a few years. Mobile manufacturers own BT transition and they don’t want to jump in and change to a BT that isn’t stable.
The main thing is the tech is ready. It would be a bit rubbish if the transmitters were installed however the receivers (hearing aids) didn't exist IMO. Matthew
Hearing aid glass sensorineural hearing available india when???? Future hearing aid glass sensorineural hearing????
Yes!
Is it free? I'm deaf.from Romania
No it is not.
You sound like a shill. Pitching all this without either fitting a client or pitching Auracast which is years away if at all.
What's wrong with you? Geez
That’s very unkind I think the quality of these videos is outstanding, they are not launched yet and personally find the information very helpful. If I was in the market for new aids I like to know what’s.coming. Be nice .

Hey Richard. It's a launch video - which I do for all tech, and then follow up with a full review after I've fitted them in plenty of patients ears. So cheer up! Matthew
