♡About me:
I was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan. I graduated from University de Savoie Mont Blanc, with a Master degree in
Applied Foreign Language. Currently living in France. I speak Chinese, English, French, and now I'm self-learning Japanese. I love teaching and I’m also a language enthusiast! My goal is to help students speak Taiwanese Mandarin naturally and discover Taiwanese culture at the same time.

That's useful tips! Thanks a lot.
谢谢你!
I find tones really hard so I appreciate you talking about this!
I remember when I said "Shui o" my boyfriend was so surprised haha. He was like "Did you... did you just speak Taiwanese??"
I really hope that soon I can improve and say more to his parents. I'd love to be able to say hello more properly but so far I can barely say anything >_
好開心😃 So happy for you!!! Keep surprising him you’re doing good!加油加油
@@MandarinWithMissLin Thank you! Your lessons are very helpful. I'd really like to be able to talk properly to his parents someday and I am a little closer to that goal than before
"I am not a student" "You are not a teacher" isn't exactly great conversation haha
I learned a lot from your tips.
Glad to hear my content helps! In case you don’t know, I also made this Taiwanese Mandarin Speaking workshop talking about tones mandarinwithmisslin.ck.page/21f18d824d
So far I’m taking break from YT but still give lessons in my community mandarinwithmisslin.ck.page/41df22eb41
I decided to start supporting your Patreon, I really want to focus on listening and speaking practice through shadowing, and I think you are offering potentially game-chaging content! I am oh-so-excited to be able to be one of your student. Thanks a lot!
😊歡迎加入Jaessyca👏🏻welcome! 謝謝你! Remember: if it’s not your level or you’ve got a busy week, just save the materials and study later. No pressure just enjoy ❤️
Yes, please make a video about pronounciation. A big thank you :-) I do sound like a monotonous robot.
These lessons are really good for tone deaf people like me haha. Even tho I'm abc and can speak the language, it's difficult to hear the tones :(. Ty for your free lessons.
Haha tone deaf! 真的嗎 😊 加油加油💪

Thank you!!! 🇵🇭 ❤️ 🇹🇼
你好快!😂👍you’re fast!!!
You always give me new information to my happiness 😊 Some think that Korean language isn't rhythmical but in fact is so rhythmical in various ways. Adding emotions and feelings is everywhere so it makes human beings' language, right? Have a good day today:) p.s. My Philippine FB working in Taiwan seems to love your videos when I share yours. ❤
Miss Lin,
I have not given up in learning to speak Mandarin. In fact I am surprise that I have not lost the motivation to learn.
However a year and half later, I am still having trouble recognizing the tones differences. So when you mentioned to trust our ears I do but the native speakers are either speaking to fast, or I am simply missing the differences.
I'm looking forward the video on melody and rhythm
好喔👌 👌會的will do!

Also I'm very interested in language methods of Chinese to incorporate new terms or create own new terms according to our changing world. Thank you.
Hello Lin laoshi. Thank U for the lessons, very positive and resultative.
Do you have any vids about Chinese imperative forms? Could not find ones. If you don't, it would be so great to hear from U about it, thanks a lot
When i speak chinese i just use the before / after words like i want ( sleep) and i want (eat) dumpling thats make me easy to Conversatin fast Whitout learning more , just use listening
Context is indeed very important 很重要:)
Can you do an initials and finals pronunciation video? Mainland China and Taiwanese pronunciation can differ greatly in this and it'll be great to hear to explain them
I am about to release it this week ! Still editing 😆👍

Thanks for the helpful video! What do you mean by "use your stomach" when pronouncing 第四声?
Also I'd love to see a video based on speaking tones naturally (and not sounding like a robot) 👍
對 that’s right:) 謝謝😊
@@MandarinWithMissLin 不好意思,我應該用中文。“use your stomach for 4th tone"的意思是什麼?你怎麼用肚子說說第四聲?

我想吃水饺。
Thank you for this~~~♡
I have a question though I've been searching the chinese of "fan" as in jay chou fan. Is 粉 the right word?Thank you♡♡
😊不客氣喔! Jay Chou’s fan ? yeah we say 「粉絲」❤️
@@MandarinWithMissLin 謝謝你♡ I really enjoy every video of yours~

Do you do one on one Skype classes? I live in Kaohsiung and I’m looking for someone to practice conversation.

我用打字機打自己了......
有趣的是,在中國大陸的普通話中【攻擊】和【公鷄】這兩個詞都是兩個 first tones 哈哈哈哈
真的嗎😳 那在台灣會有點奇怪呢
错了。 攻击之击是发轻声(虽然在拼音上看也是first tones,但发音时没有人会发出和公鸡一样的发音。 除非那是一个没有接受过正常教育的文盲)
This Chanel /Contents using Taiwan or mainland???

台式发音按中国大陆的标准看很多都是不标准的。 台湾的播音员来大陆,估计连一级乙等的证书都拿不到。 哈哈。
