I really admire people that can exercise consistently as a way of life. I've come to the conclusion it's not something I enjoy. Wish I was that personality type.
I started doing the Couch to 10k app, I am currently at running 3.4 miles and it is insane how much my body can do now. I am not athletic by nature but running gives me piece of mind
Major congratulations to you (and Dave), Christine! That was awesome and I love seeing the whole family biking together. Scout is such cutie and a trooper, too. Thanks so much for sharing.
😊 I love your fitness videos and can’t wait to see more. You are such an amazingly strong lady. Keep being amazing! You and your family are all wonderful people😘 I wish you the best of luck on the 70 mile bike race! I know you can do it! Go Christine!
I just have to say it again...thank you Christine for being such an inspiration, and for being real, living a good healthy life, and feeling like the friend that you can't wait to see! Bless you and your family!
I did a half trail at Zion in early April. I can relate to how you're feeling. I've never done a trail half before. It was SO challenging. But beautiful. And I conquered it! Took a long time, but I also stopped for bathroom break, photo opps and I walked a lot too. YOU GOT THIS!!
I admire athletes, but I don't understand them. I wish I had that urge inside of me.... Only took phys ed in high school because it was a required course and I just passed. Have never been physical other than for playing outside as a child! Walking now and again at my own pace!
It's amazing what you can push your body to do. I hope to be doing long runs someday once I get my butt in gear. Good job on the race, and I'd happily watch you geek out over your new bike!
I'm a good hiker I don't like running. I use to run track so I know how difficult it is to build the body up. Please rest and enjoy yourself. How exciting please keep us updated on this journey.

We definitely need the what's in my bag race day edition ! Loved this video ! Made me want to get out there and get determined. 👏👏👏 cheers from NYC !! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Is there any chance you could do a video with Dave about how you keep your kids active and your fit lifestyle? I struggle with this because of our age gaps (our boys are 8, 4 and 1) and it's tough to find things we can all do. I also have fairly uncoordinated kids (but maybe that is a positive feedback loop with not pushing them). I also struggle with fear of them getting hurt because they are clumsy. Do you have tips for setting a better example and pushing through the fear of your kids getting badly hurt? I look up to you guys a lot. Your kids seem really healthy and happy and I want that for my kids too.
I have recently picked up running again, I have been doing crossfit more or less exclusively the last 4 years. Trying to get my mile times lower now, but I did my first 5k it quite some time about a week ago! I've started using playlists based based on the beats per minute to keep my pace, and it's working so well to help me go faster.
I’m so inspired by you!! I’m an obese woman who was raised in an obese household, I really want to change that for my babies. Seeing your family have so much fun makes me want to do it too. 😊
Congratulations on finishing your run! My biggest fairly recent accomplishment concerning my legs has been moving from needing a wheelchair full-time to only needing it sometimes when we go out. I haven't been able to run like that since 1971, when I was 12 years old. BTW: have you ever heard of the Barclay Marathon?
You're amazing! I'm trying to get inspired to get back into training.... the pandemic totally derailed me and I'm just not feeling motivated to get back, yet..... but I am thinking and trying to...
My neighbor has just done her 2nd 100 mile race so far this year. It blows my mind. I can't even run a mile. How does not every little thing on the body just hurt. Inspiring!
That’s awesome!! I’m doing a 50k race with 7200ft of elevation gain in two weeks. 😱 Will channel your energy to get me through it (longest training run has been only 32km. Ugh)
Please tell me more about your full suspension bike! I have a hard tail, but my husband has the full suspension. I come from a road/tri background, so mtb is more of a hobby (I am a big chicken descending), but it’s super fun! Love all of the race/training footage!
I have the Scott Genius which has a suspension lock out on the handle bars for climbing and you can quickly switch to full suspension for the descent. It just ROLLS over obstacles and it's so smooth. My hardtail was very jarring to ride any bumps.
Christine, the old, wiser and more viewer that I am, is trying desperately to keep from offering unsolicited advice about overtraining. Despite that I do enjoy your videos. Take it easy.
Congrats Christine !! Im so motivated to go trail running. Only ever done rode running. So my plan is to go my first trail run this weekend. What shoes do you recomend ?
Christine! You and Dave are so inspiring!! 🤩 Congratulations on a well run race!! Please tell me, what kind of shoes do you wear for trail running?? Thanks!
@@FrugalFitMom , thanks Christine! I just bought some Brooks trail running shoes!! I’m so excited!! ( of course, I’ll be walking, but NOT falling!! 😂 Maybe, I’ll work up to some running, hopefully!!)
Yo what is your new bike? I used to race bikes and work in bike shops, fell out of it for 10 years, now want to get back in with a new bike. I had full sus in past and will want that again lol... I'm small 5'... so I used a smaller travel xc race bike on all mountain stuff with no issues lol ... I even did downhill on this in collegiate omnium lol
Oh my gosh:.. I wish I could run 10 miles haha I definitely would be much thinner haha but my back issues do not allow me to run… the effects of hitting the ground as it does when running makes me not able to walk for day… but I guess I should try to walk 10 miles since I can walk… but dang that would take 3 hours haha
Yay! Fitness Friday! I have missed your fitness Fridays. You are such an inspiration. Keep it up! Love watching you.
I was just thinking that! The Fitness Friday's really made me want to get moving!
I agree! I enjoy them the most. I know all the food tips after a few years of watching. 😁

I love that you and Dave do these things together. I should marry a paramedic so I can go on a trail run. 😁
Oh my goodness, paramedic! 🤣🤣🤣 I need one just to hike! 😜
Major congratulations to you (and Dave), Christine! That was awesome and I love seeing the whole family biking together. Scout is such cutie and a trooper, too. Thanks so much for sharing.
Love the fitness Friday videos! I also love your sunglasses!! Congrats on the race to you both!
Thank you for continuing to do Fitness Fridays! I love them! It's so great that you and Dave did this together!
You’ve just been getting stronger! Congrats Christine! You’re amazing 🧡
Thank you so much!!

I bet that was SO beautiful!
Congrats! I am not a runner myself so the thought of running a 25k on a track is beyond me, much less a trail run.
I admire athletes, but I don't understand them. I wish I had that urge inside of me.... Only took phys ed in high school because it was a required course and I just passed. Have never been physical other than for playing outside as a child! Walking now and again at my own pace!

I (Kelley) hike not run usually do around 12 to 14 miles. Our doodle pulls me the whole way. Your puppy is so cute. Congratulations on your 25k.

This is really inspiring. Well done! I missed your fitness Fridays!
Bloody hell lady you are inspiring! Well done 🎉
My husband is an ultra runner, it truly is incredible what the body can do. You got it girl!! 👏🏼
You are awesome. The only time I ran was when I was in the Air Force and that was because I had too, ha! Love your grit and determination.

Well done! So cool that you raced with your hubby!
Great job. You should be proud of yourself that is a major accomplishment. Now I'm headed to Dave's channel to see more of you awesome people

I really don't know why I watch you. I can hardly walk 100 yards let alone run. You are a superwoman! (I'm just glad you're funny)
You did awesome. I use to run cross country loved it. Practice was run 10 plus miles up and down winding roads. Congrats
Yay Christine you did it girl! You inspire me to be more active. Would love to get a bit more info about your new bike?

Don't worry, I've been training for endurance races for over 12 years now and take the appropriate rest. Thank you for your comment!
