There's a video series on youtube called "The Petti Test" where they were looking into how people make the Skrillex/Kill The Noise bass sounds. He said it was FM and he started explaining the process. He didn't really get to the desired result, but what enlightened me was the actual fundamentals of FM and how the movement in the bass type is created by changing the volume of the OP that's FMing the output OP. That never occurred to me before that. The rest is history :]
I just have to say, Seamless, you are amazing. First of all, most major dubstep producers use all of these huge programs that cost hundreds of dollars, and you are just here, making these amazing songs, most are better than a lot of people, with HARMOR. I don't even know whats right anymore...
Harmor is a great synth for this kind of music, you can simply just play around with it, and get amazing sounds as a result. Take Seamless and Savant as examples, these guys rock!
As well, if you do actually want an XY controller for things that aren't in Sytrus or Harmor, you can go into an FX insert and open up a Fruity XY Controller. Then, similar to the auto clip, you can find the X and Y controllers under "internal controllers" and link up parameters to THAT xy controller. Then make automation clips for that.
I didn't mean that you could link the reverb level to the actual sytrus X, but what you can do is when you right click on a parameter, select "link to controller". In there (if you already have auto clips) you should see, in the middle, "internal controllers". In there you can set it to be controlled by another controller already live. Make sure you have "remove conflicts" off and then you'll have an auto clip controlling more than one parameter.
When I play this flp on my computer it gets to like 70 CPU usage, and my PC is pretty shitty. Compared to other tracks by Seamless, this one doesn't have that much stuff going on.
Ive been following you over on IL Forums for a while. Just realized I hadnt subbed...until NOW!!! Keep the tutorials coming! They provide some much needed inspiration.
i love your music, and i think this track well deserves its place as the FL11 demo track as it is made with only the instruments and plugins found within fl. really shows the potential of FL11, and it has sold me to get it as my next daw :)
I use FRAPS. Some other people have mentioned a program called Bandicam. Look into those. As well, I'd enjoy hearing that track when it's done :] I like hearing what people have taken from the tutorials and what not. It's usually different and sometimes things I would not have thought to do myself :]
I started using fruity loops when it was 3.4. idk from where u got the idea but it sounds amazing.. a new way for groove lovers.. thank u for ur effort. Waiting for new. God bless u more.. WE LOVE YOU.
Seamless you are now my idol dude, you automate like a boss X3 I was expecting some trance track with the smooth sailing then out of nowhere came a wall of crazy that smashed me up against it. I'm more of a complextro fan personally but that was some delicious sound.
This song is so damn amazing! I've showed it to a few of my friends and they all love the shit out of it. I really hope you keep making songs like this.
FL as a standalone does not come with Harmor. However, it does come with Vocodex and Edison as effect plugins. If you want Harmor, Vocodex and Edison in VST you have to purchase them.
This makes so much sense seeing as how this was uploaded in 2012 and FL Studio 11 was released about a month ago. It also makes so much sense because even on the FL Track it says "Seamless - Bass Antics" and the uploaders name is "Seamless". Maybe you should graduate from middle school before coming on youtube. I don't this a website like this is a good place for you to be, little boy :)
I love your video's And i thought i needed massive for these sounds! BTW i don't know if I congratulated you but congrats for getting your track listed in FL STUDIO!
I've been using FL since 2004. I've only started really making this style back in June or July of this year, around when I learned how Sytrus actually worked ;p
sytrus/ fm synth routed through vocodex as carrier synth and then used low pitch vocal samples + automation clips on the sytrus its all there in his tutorials
I'd guess you drew a lot of inspiration from "You Missed A Spot"? I love you've made like, 3 electro songs and then this. It's been a while since you accidentally the entire track.
Very nice. Your song layout skills are boss. Great use of rhythm, syncopation, and melodic variants. Definitely captured the brostep sound fully. My only advice would be to smash things a bit harder. Maybe the compressor you use is not the best? Are the sidechains just as intricate as the resamples and how do they play against the beat? To me, it just needs some work in that respect, but still a great tune!
I've heard a various style of genres being made in FL Studio no problem. Again it's completely up to you, I'm just giving you my opinion that if you're on a budget, FL Studio should be the way to go. Let me also say that skill obviously doesn't come with the software, so if you're a beginner, FL Studio is always the way to start.
don't worry, he just reuploaded the song with a cool background and a spectrum analyzer. if you look closely, you can see the name "Seamless" in the video as well, don't worry!
Superb song! My favourite! BUT! How did you detune Lead 3 before it hit the first drop like that? I've been teaching myself FL Studio 10 for a few months now and am curious how you did it. I see you changed the velocity of the note on the piano roll and I watched harmour do it's thing just before the drop and don't see any tuning. Help would be great!:D
So it IS possible to make fantastic music with FL! How long did you mess around with FL before you knew what you were doing ?? I'm just starting and I have an Akai MPK49 and am trying to learn as much as I can so I can make some sexy sounds. Great performance!!
This is the only time in history that has properly condoned the use of :O

🥀🥀‼️🥀🥀
This is..... Just a classic for all Fl Users
Kruumsss yeah
generic af though
but 2012
It may be a classic. Seamless is still the person that made it, so he can review it on his channel, right?
This was 2012
Except for the drop, Kruumsss. (:))
🙂In fact the FL Studio intro video is the one where I got to know about this song. And this song was my entry point to the world of EDM!!!
3 years ago I listened this track in FL studio. And now I'm very happy to know Seamless.
I just have to say, Seamless, you are amazing. First of all, most major dubstep producers use all of these huge programs that cost hundreds of dollars, and you are just here, making these amazing songs, most are better than a lot of people, with HARMOR.

***** I think GMS is the best when it comes to bass - and just add a filter like Love Philter for the bass wobbles/growls.
Hate to burst your bubble but Harmor costs $111.03
Joseph Bartle-Coe yikes
Joseph Bartle-Coe Massive and FM8 cost $199
Harmor is still cheaper
This whole song hits SOOOOOOO hard! The drop just makes you wanna jump, run, and randomly stuff. 🎧🔥
Man, I wish I had this kind of skill. Props, man.

This dude is amazing. He needs more recognition. I'm downloading this track now.

@@maknirak same stuff going with me
I only have a Ryzen 3 3200U and I do fine. Idk what’s wrong with you guys...
*Freeze our track to save Cpu*
I'm so happy to come back and listen to a classic!!!!
The intro gives me crazy goosebumps all over every time, its so epic.
Amazing, you are one of the best producers who use FL STUDIO.The quality of the whole project is simply FLAWLESS
The second drop is too good. I can't handle it.
Jahama 4 years. =)
Note that the title says FL Studio 10, and this track was not available as a demo song before FL Studio 11.
cause he made it after FL 10 release maybe? ...
He made it on FL 10, and Image-Line(The programmers of FL studio) put this song as a demo song on FL 11.
those growls are so satisfying
Has always been one of my favourite songs. Wish I could hear more dubstep like this
3:13 This part is amazing
Ive been following you over on IL Forums for a while. Just realized I hadnt subbed...until NOW!!! Keep the tutorials coming! They provide some much needed inspiration.
I've learned a lot from this project file...
Thank You so much Seamless!
(DJ Inkarnate)
So thats what a proffesional drop looks like..
LOL i have some work to do
Let's all agree this is definitely music!
i love your music, and i think this track well deserves its place as the FL11 demo track as it is made with only the instruments and plugins found within fl. really shows the potential of FL11, and it has sold me to get it as my next daw :)
One of the Most Wildest use of FL 11 available on youtube.. :) I loved it :)
This song has probably the most sudden drop ever. BTW I like the emoticon that appears before the bassline
I use FRAPS. Some other people have mentioned a program called Bandicam. Look into those. Wow It's amazing! huge and crazy bass! I love it!
Today is when I realized the true power of Sytrus.
This song is so damn amazing! I've showed it to a few of my friends and they all love the shit out of it. I really hope you keep making songs like this.
This track utterly rips my pc apart in FL 11 n your one here is barely breaking a sweat lol. Quality track though dude. The arp gives me goose bumps.
Congrats on being featured on the FL 11 release trailer! :D love this song!
Moar :O Sounds amazing! I've been looking for tracks like this in ages! Seamless, you are a talent in the electronic genre!
You are too good at this, easily one of the best.
FL as a standalone does not come with Harmor. However, it does come with Vocodex and Edison as effect plugins. If you want Harmor, Vocodex and Edison in VST you have to purchase them.
no matter what I need to know witch presest is this bass right there 1:37 or 1:45

I literally sat here with my mouth hanging open while listening and watching this...WOW! I'm a fan
I agree with you :] The next track will be better arranged. I had bass vision (like tunnel vision) for this track. ;p gotta reign it in a little.
It's in FL 11.
Such a heavy track! definitely going in to my next set
Just remixed this in FL Studio 11! I love the song!
This song is AWESOME! It was on the FL Studio 11 introdcution video on their website :)
sytrus/ fm synth routed through vocodex as carrier synth and then used low pitch vocal samples + automation clips on the sytrus its all there in his tutorials
ERES EL PUTO AMO!!!! Saludos desde Honduras, Central America, aprendo mucho de Ti !🇭🇳🇭🇳🇭🇳❤️❤️❤️
I like how the drop transits so smoothly into the wobbles. Reminds me of green bottlw-Feed Me
The melody is so catchy :) Beautiful.
I thought i'd heard this before , didn't realise image line used your music . very good talent mate !!
1:36 the sixteenth note chunky bass thing is my favorite sound in any Seamless song :D

Love that one! 8 years ago now...
Love this track! Congrats on getting it in FL 11! :D
I'm using headphones that have amazing quality, can hear all the way down at three Hz, and this song goes perfect with them...
Epic and inspiring. I want to learn how to make stuff like this now!
Automation shapes for the growls are SICK! :D
10 years later, still good
I use FL as well, but I'm far away of making such awesome basslines like you!! Thumbs up, you're awesome!!
really nice! great range of sounds make the track seem very interesting and full!
>:] tell me how it goes
Absolutely love this song, would I be able to have your permission to remix this song?
This is the funkiest most original, contemporary computer generated music I have heard from an individual. fuck. the fuck. yes.
My new favorite song from you, awesome complextro!!!
Indeed. the basslines are a pleasure to lisen to.
serious man loveing the dubstep
I'd guess you drew a lot of inspiration from "You Missed A Spot"? I love you've made like, 3 electro songs and then this. It's been a while since you accidentally the entire track.
2020 and still a Banger!
So happy to see this FLP in FL 11
I love this, such an amazing melody!
Dude, i love your plugin settings in the bass drop!

You must be proud for this to be in the official FL Studio 11 intro :P

This is so good. Seriously, epic conjuration!
Seamless - God of Basses.
God what a sick tune! Will be sure to spread it and play it to many ^^ Subscribed!
Yeah I totally took this file from FL 11 nine months before FL 11 came out. I am a time traveler.
Holy awesome, nice track man, I aint heard Electrohouse like this in a while... Thanks bro :)
I love opening up the flp files they give us and completely effing them up ;)
My First Fl studio song i played ... i love your music

the shapes of the automation clips :D AWSOME
FL 11 advert, SICK
I was actually just thinking to myself that I should do that. For people who are low on cash as well as people who don't want FL or can't FL.
So it IS possible to make fantastic music with FL!
How long did you mess around with FL before you knew what you were doing ??
I'm just starting and I have an Akai MPK49 and am trying to learn as much as I can so I can make some sexy sounds.
Great performance!!
Drop was dope man, so was the rest haha but that drop was not expected
Browsing through your channel... 1st vid: "Cool!". 2nd: "Wow, this guy's good." 3rd: "He's not good. He's a god."
When you open it, it clearly says his name on the project, and links to this youtube channel.
This is insane, Love it
you sir, are amazing
