This is so informative and so well done! And in the end it just proves again that the tone is in the fingers and that beyond a certain level guitars just sound marginally different in an A/B situation, not better or worse.
Thanks Stefan! I partially agree with your statement - guitars can sound very different; better or worse depends on personal preference. But by far the biggest influencer of tone is the touch of the player. Thanks for the comment!
🔵 super nice acoustics - scgc is the best small shop acoustic guitar builder on the planet ❕🐸 believe I own three of their instruments ...2009 H-13 EIR w/tobacco burst sitka top closed headstock w/pearl logo inlay and vintage perloid bindings and perloid waverly's is my favorite ; the other two are OM: BrzRW w/tunnel 13 redwood top ; Honduran RW w/Alpine spruce top (both good sounding but the well worn H-13 is the best of the bunch) ❕🐸
I think the Indian Rosewood sounds like Indian Rosewood for sure. I will say SCG makes the only EIR guitars I like the sound of. They tame the metallic top end somehow. Sound fabulous.
The volume levels seem VERY similar despite the size differences of the guitar. Did you find you were playing more lightly with the larger instruments?
I'd attribute that to the compression that RUclips applies to the audio. Having said that, well made small bodied guitars, like those from SCGC, can project volume surprisingly well!
Beautiful guitars and playing... Gotta say the intonation sounds slightly out on all of them. Either that or your tuner ain't working right... take a listen without looking and you'll hear what I mean... Really nice though ! I'd love to own any one of them :)
1929 00 blew my mind way better then the rest
I can't understand why you haven't gotten more likes, that was very nice.
Thanks Paul, I appreciate it!

Awesome playing. I'm now rethinking my collection..
I like the OM pre-war. Great format. Thanks.
Thanks!
The sitka/mahogany immediately felt like home and would certainly be my pick if I had one. SC makes amazing guitars.
That OM Grand is a work of art..sounds incredible.
OM Grand in RW is a fine balanced work of art.
For me gotta go with the triple 000. Love all of them!!!
Love the 29 too!!! Tough decisions ❤🙏❤
Thanks Steve. Yeah, no bad ones here!
Such a cool video editing job. Well done!
Thanks Dave!

Great review, very well put together.
Thanks Skip!
freakin' amazing lineup!
Well done! I love SC guitars! Throw an FS model with redwood and something with a carpathian spruce top in next time.
Thanks! Maybe I'll do another SC comparison...
I am a big fan of SC Guitars and your playing. Magical. 🙏
They all sound amazing 👍👍
Superb playing. Love the OM.
Thanks!
Great playing!
That 1929 is a must have 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
They are all so beautiful, how can you decide? Plus, a great job in playing.
Yes, all great guitars! Thank you Chuck
Best demo format ever, also great playing and master built Instruments
Thank you Thom!
I'll take one of each please.
Bravo .....This is a very clear " comparison.....you can do it again with other models.......it's very intructive....tank you !
Thank you very much!
Lovely mids and bottom end but they all lack sparkle and projection in the tops. I have a 000 and it is the same.

Nicely done!
Thank you Matt!

the last one
These are the finest guitars in the world.
The pw have massive bass with slower respond to the notes ,fair?
Is the 00 burst on the back as well ?it looks fantastic
Yes, I agree regarding the pre-war (PW) models. The 00 does have a full body burst.
the buddha smile....one of each please
