I love the angular lines of the Sony bodies, so I have to disagree with you on that point. Everything else you said is bang on however, which is why I shoot Sony.

@@Burritosarebetterthantacos I've had the opportunity to try out all 3 brands for a week before the purchase. Just liked Sony the most out of them all. Idk what Nikon I tested, but I tested Canon 850D and Sony a6100. I know canon is DSLR and Sony is mirrorless, but the results I got and all the feeling and the lens selection is just better with Sony.😁😁
@@Burritosarebetterthantacos Sorry for splitting my comments, just don't like editing them, looks bad. I'm not saying anything about the other brands because I did not have a chance to try them.
I'm a Nikon hybrid shooter - I've sort of made up my mind to move to Sony with the A7R5 because of the points you've mentioned. Also the new Tamron 20 - 40 fits right into my focal ranges. Im just waiting for both products to find their way into the grey importers ( UK probably January).
@@gilcarag274 yes - just checked - at Panamoz £3250. I bought my last camera from them. Maybe itll come down to £3000 in a few months time. I'd feel comfortable (just) at that price.
I think with the A7R5 you're right. I shoot Nikon but all of the points made on this video are relevant to me. I've used a few Sony cameras and never liked using the rear screen to judge work or show it to clients. Plus I always used auto white balance on my Nikon, I believe this is workable now on the A7R5, I believe the auto iso is much better on this camera as well, again something I used a lot on my Nikon.
Sony has selective hearing. If they were actually listening to the vast majority of users, then they would have updated the a1, a7s iii/fx3 with the firmware updates to match that of the lower end cameras.
Sometimes, it’s like relationships. They are listening but they will update it with their new relationships. They will not make much updates to old relationships. It’s always about the new love interest. I believe they do listen but they are not interested in making those changes for you.

Different strokes for different blokes 😅

Do a video on the new Fugifilm!!!!😮
But what camera is this video shot on ? The close ups looks off focus or is it just my eyes / screen ?
Probably true! lol. Canon c70. Autofocus isn’t perfect with that camera
BlackMagic is releasing a Gyro update in Davinci next month.
Keeping an eye out for it!
Oh awesome!!
Been in there! Works great!
I love Sony's cameras so much more than Canon's and Nikon's. They just feel better.
Spoken like a guy thats never used a Canon or Nikon

Resolve can read BMD camera gyro data for stabilization too! 🎉❤

That one lens is like the perfect do everything lens.
Panamoz already has it….
@@gilcarag274 thought it would - but there is no real saving until 4 - 6 months.
£3,250 now……..

What about an internal 1tb hard drive like hasseblad?
Would LOVE to see that featured in more cameras moving forward
I love my Sony and my Sonny!!
You had wise counsel.
5:12 Sony 100% does not support C-Fast cards. They use CF Express Type A.
Thanks for the clarification!
@@Soundstripe Too many cards that have similar naming. Compact Fash, C-Fast, CF Express A&B. They make it confusing.
Hey Dave really decide on one channel that you will feature on. I am rather confused when I see you on new channel every other day.
Haha! 😂

All that tech and they still don’t have an intuitive touch screen that can control everything
Lol so true
Sony is king 👑

Hard to argue with their cameras!
Buncha Sony Simps

True. I hope they update the firmware soon. It is bad that things aren’t synced up with newer cameras.
A9III
I would still choose my A1 without the updates over the other models with updates.
As a long time Canon shooter, this video makes me want to actually consider switching to Sony!
I know right? I’m still using the c70 and do love it… but it’s so tempting to switch. They have such a solid setup. (Dave responding)
