Starting an old Daf 33 engine

- We found a Daf engine. Let´s see if it´s still alive!
We hebben een Daf motor gevonden. Laten we kijken of deze nog steeds loopt.
Specs:
-Daf 33 (passenger car build: 1967-1974. Transmission: variomatic belt)
-2 cylindre boxer
-750cc
-aircooled
-4 stroke
-centrifigal clutch
those Daf's were tough little beast's.
I'm affraid the transmission in the Argo would break. It's pretty light constructed. Otherwise that would be a great idea and it would be a lot more fun to drive with.
If you empty the bottle first and refill it with fuel, then it works pretty well ;-)

It's a comapny name shorted from; van Doorne Aanhangwagen Fabriek. That means; van Doorne Trailer factory. It's a dutch company which manufactured trailers, passenger cars and still manufactures trucks.
considering it wasn't picking up a prime it ran pretty well... and no smoke... but wow, in a moped to wild. Can't wait
Ik heb m nog niet zien rijden, wel de bouw ervan. Die sigret van Edwin was me ook opgevallen ja. Mot kunne he hahaaaa. Tis flink winter Joske zal koukleumen zijn op t SAS.
Ziet er spannend uit maar word een lastig klusje om onder een brommert te hangen denk.

No! I had the best transmission ever! 100km/h forward and 100km/h backwards!!!!!!! :D In holland we had a TV show where cars were driven backwards over a racetrack. And the DAF car was very populair choice to race!

No, as it only ever had only two cylinders and 0.75 liters, not 1.6. and it only made 30 horsepowers

The 850cc version (DAF 44/46) is commonly used in the US for small planes.
Waarom doen jullie benzine door het luchtfilter? Ik heb thuis een kubota 0C60-E diesel staan maar ik krijg hem niet aan de praat...

unfortunately not Di with a gas engine (yet) as the predetonation would not go over well thats actually Idi as its not directly into the cylinder ... But yes it was funny LOL

+Marijn Kouters da maakt nie ut de werking blijft ut zelfde
vroeger ook zo geleerd met rijles op een oude daf 2800 vrachtwagen als die niet start wasmiddel in de luchtfilter kop en starte doet die weer
