I consider it a FAIL! Not that I believe it would be bad or the instructions were horrible or anything like that. It’s just that it’s not “Homemade” and “from scratch” if you use store bought, “canned” pork and beans or pinto beans.

Simple water? ;) If you want to thicken it up, just add some starch.
