Honestly speaking, ease of movement within these bs3 buses is by far better when the bus gets crowded. You don't have to really watch ur step unlike the Ultra low floor buses. The problem lies with multiple steps in the aisle for ULB ones therefore restricting the movement from end to end. Imagine a crowded 109 or a 104 services? People who are tall will also need to be really careful while occupying those rear end seats in the ULB ones because of the height differences within the bus interiors. In all fairness as much as we appreciate these low floor buses, these buses are highly susceptible to flooding while their BS3 or 4 counterparts have good height and probably would have to do more compensation during monsoon for ULBuses. About seat belts inside the buses? Well for a city bus with passenger travelling time usually varying for an avg 20 to 40 mins, I really don't think ppl would take the effort to buckle up. These accessories can also pose danger when children or less mindful ppl meddle with them. As time goes by, these accessories would eventually go missing or bothersome while sitting in those seats.
Well I guess everything comes with their fair share of disadvantages. If you look at developed nation cities such as Singapore, these kinds of busses are the primary modes of transportation where there is not even conductors like in our country. Good maintenence of these busses and civic behavior from the public can ensure good development

Besides conductorless travel requires a high level of trust from the passenger side to purchase tickets by default and that kind of system is still a far fetched idea when it comes to our passenger crowd here. Queuing up at every stop to tap into the devices would be really a time consuming job and it would further delay the travel time. (The big reason why it works in developed countries is because everything is time bound. Meaning punctuality is appreciated) Some of the key elements at the moment are to concentrate on the behavioural intervention of the ridership of bus passengers. Since civic manners and etiquette are deeply intertwined to make a bus journey a pleasant experience. Most importantly is to have a diversified fleet varying according to each zone of the city. This is an effective way to manage crowds across each ward of the city. But again cost and maintenance would be a subject to discuss, unlike developed countries. Altogether it's nice to see new efforts and innovations being rolled out. Having said that, it's our duty to partake in maintaining and helping each and every fellow passenger to have a decent ridership.
