Thank you to Ouro for giving this game a long overdue spotlight at this marathon. People who haven't played this yet really need to try it for themselves.

Loved playing this game ages ago with my significant other. Because surprisingly it has multiplayer. Although I would love a remaster of it but it's just lost to time sadly.
I defenitely remember back then that playibg this game on our hdtv back then is impossible to do defend using visual ques, I almost always get it when i played it using crt but not the flat lcd hdtv we had back then. After replaying the ps3 version, I just got used with audio ques instead, but the difficulty curve on ps3 is in a different notch, the AI is much less forgivibg on ps3 and they do a lot of damage if you didnt guard properly.
Went out and bought an old 360 and a copy of this because it was nostalgic to watch the run and wow was I ever disappointed. It's so slow and plodding and the combat is utterly frustrating at all points. The Party Level system was a huge mistake as well imo. Oh well, at least I can go back and play Lost Odyssey now 😅
could just say it isnt for you. sorry you went through all of that to play a game you dont like, but you dont have to leave negative comments on an obscure youtube video about it to vent

Bit of a shame it isn't the PlayStation version. But that's much longer due to the forced extra areas.
Whats the most hassle free way to play this game? Any rereleases or digital versions?
Unfortunately no, I think it's on PSN (for the PlayStation 3 version) but apart from that its just the physical version
emulation. xenia is a good 360 emulator, and you can easily find an iso on your own
Worth playing 100%. Got myself a copy from my local game shop for 10$. Worth every penny.
i know this is late, but by far the most hassle free way is to emulate the 360 version. xenia/xenia canary are very solid emulators
