I did all that prior to seeing this video. Thanks for confirming that I performed the procedure correctly. However for me, the Spark update "hung" at 30% and would progress no further. I have tried everything and nothing works. Now today, I am downloading the "Assistant 2" app as an alternative procedure and hopefully that hard-wire technique will accomplish the Firmware updates.

Dick Philpott yes if you have issues the Assistant is best.

Thank you for your reply. Yes....I tried the Assistant 2 and the Hard-wire. Still no success. Will have to wait out the weekend when DJI opens for business again, and ask them what I've done wrong. Again, thanks for the video. I learn more from these than anything.

eberthiaume of you connect your device to a WiFi network first and down load the firmware and then reconnect to the craft.
