That method of marking the 4 mount holes for the dead NEMA casing is brilliant! Thank you for Banggood affiliate links for tools used in the build. Saves a lot of bandwith not having to keep going back to older videos all the time and chewing up the rather restrictive data limits placed on rural Aussies (50Gb a month for $65 is stupid when just a single software patch can blow it in a single night and leave you on 256kbps until the following month)
Excellent. Love the tricks and tips. Perfection to detail. I'm sure you cleaned up the aluminium on the block at 9.45. Never had a faulty stepper motor but well done on that ingenious idea. Must admit the first time I saw part of the design, motor and stepper was wondering if this was some kind of perpetual motor/generator, motor driving stepper as generator.
Just don't understand why you would not explain what you were trying to achieve and have that annoying background music to what could have been a useful video...... stepper motor????
Perfection , précision, jolie à voir , symétrie , toute les qualités que j'aime dans l'invention d'une machine outils qui en plus fonctionne à merveilles. Bois ,alu, métal. , et de l'or dans les mains !
Good idea, shot at 100, but the walking of the saw is very strong, it is difficult to cut it according to the drawing, you need to shorten the saw blade and put a stiffer spring, thanks for the video, !! 👍 👍 👍
Very well done. Now you just need to figure out a way to "tension" the blades. I'm interested in where you find all of your hardware, motors, controllers, etc.
very nice job everything is very carefully done but unfortunately no explanation or list of parts and really bad link it contains porn and advertising very bad
The sense of DIY is to use things you have, all you need is some technical understanding and creativity, this videos aren't tutorials but more for inspiration, to see the solutions of other people so you can widen your mind and see things you already have in a different way, like a broken motor like he used here, maybe someone has a lot of them but sees them as garbage, after this video he will think different. You need to be creative, make your own projects and plans and be happy about people show you their ideas and how they solve problems, the difference of satisfaction is huge between copy&paste projects and your own projects, the motivation grows with the creativity and with the expirience this way, make mistakes, find solutions, understand why and how and do it better.
siamo tutti come Bea, ci sentiamo piccoli e impotenti davanti alla tua bravura.
You've made it obvious you definitely know very well what you're doing. This is the kind of hobbyist ingenious reuse of things I love to see.

Nicely made. An actual useful machine and no 3D printed parts. Clever use of a dead stepper motor too.
Sei unico...trasmetti tanta voglia di fare, creare, sperimentare ecc...

Complimenti sei veramente bravissimo un abilità e una manualità eccelsa.
Well.... I wouldn't say that using the stepper motors as shaft holder is smart... But, if it's stupid but it works then it works...

Daniele, this is very good and the parts are reasonable. I think this is good to DIYers.

Isn't the spring on the top bolt holding the blade also tensioning it?
