Story 3: My main issue is that they did not train OP in self defense? Like yeah she is not a security officer but also she is probably going to be in front of dangerous/hostile people if she is denying people to go onto a plane. Like her company should've trained her in self defense in case the very real threat came up, also she should be gaining muscle for that sorta of job, if she can be picked up like that, then she needs to put on some weight in muscle. Like a actually well trained guard would not have acted in the way OP did, it would've ended the moment the karen put his hands on her
My only issue with this is they’ve proven even trained women are mostly helpless against guys who are that big, if he was much bigger than her. She might be trained but decided it wasn’t worth attempting to fight back because it wouldn’t work lol. Hell, my brother guarded nukes and still gets spooked sometimes, and forgets himself. Either way, if she isn’t trained, she needs to be, or be given a deterrent for use of self defense at the minimum.
Thing is OP is a gate agent at a German airport. Normally when at the airport she don't need to worry about unruly potential passengers. Because they will be dealt with by the Federal Police. Those guys don't fuck around. If you start something there you'll be on the ground with a machine gun pointed at your face asking for the number of the truck that hit you. They are Counter Terrorism / SWAT. So OP is safe there. But you are right, she does need some self defense classes. Unfortunately tho since this happened outside working hours and outside of airport property her employer is not obligated to provide those classes. If she wanted them she would have to pay for them out of pocket. Sucks but that's the law. Oh, and "deterrents" like pepper spray or kubotans are illegal to carry in Germany, open or concealed. Omg story 3! I am not a person who likes cops. But these entitled people who haven’t learned how to behave in public I firmly believe calling the police is the only way to correct that behaviour.
11:42 They are not, at least not in the U.S. where police are under no obligation to protect people. Their only legal responsibility is to protect property, and they tend, on a department by department basis, to determine their professional responsibilities based on what is legally required of them. If you get a cop who actually cares to help you or other actual people, that just means you were either really lucky, or there wasn't anything else for them to be doing at that moment.
Its also the factor of “Do I want to spend the next several hours on this or just let it go and not waste my time” that some people don’t seem to understand either.
I'm not really a overly friendly person. But, when I go shopping I'm always nice to people. And I always tell the cashiers that I think they are the real heroes because I have worked retail and people really suck sometimes. I met a cashier at the Mart of Walls here and her name was FATE. I was extra nice to her LOL. It doesn't cost anything to be nice to people.

We have so many Karens because we are not pressing charges on them. By letting them get away with their behavior, they continue to be their nasty selves.

I learned in security yraining, no one ever looks up, reads signs, or notices clothing. Karens are like Pit Vipers, they only seem to see body heat. Any warm body is placed on Earth to serve her! No logic or common sense at all. 🤨
Story 1, I've never traveled internationally (have traveled extensively within the US so I am actually well traveled overall), and really don't have a desire to. But I've read enough about international travel that I know that BRAZIL is definitely one of those countries that you don't just get out and do a walkabout, you don't get flashy with valuables and/or cash, you don't leave things unattended etc. so this guy deserves what he got
So there's a dodgy market in the north of Ireland at a place called Nutts Corner. Back in the '90s my family was there one Sunday. My grandmother saw a coat my grandfather would like, so she turns to a man with about five or six of them over his arm and says, "Do you have this coat in navy?" The man turns to her and smiles, replying with, "Sorry love, I don't work here. I'm just shoplifting." He proceeds to run off with the coats.
WTF That one guy that picked up the person deserved pepper spray, or at least the police called for certain. That is flat out attempted kidnapping. She had no idea where she was getting taken or what the person was planning. That went past looking for someone that worked there to possible first steps of sexual assault once they were away from everyone, or even being dragged to a car. Thinking he was trying to drag the person to get service in the shop seems the least probable explanation since that is no where near a normal interaction to have with shop employees.

Story 4 -- Daniel should have been fired for expecting a teacher to fix his daughter's phone. 1st story: My wife is from Araraqua, Brazil. I'm US. When we visited Rio and Copacabana, our wallets, wedding rings, watches and passports stayed with her sister. The only thing of any value that went with us was my SLR camera. This was before digital cameras and smartphones existed.
Last story: I’m calling bs on the store manager and security guard not thinking to check the cameras before op brings them up and just immediately taking Karen’s word. You’d think the person in charge of everything would try to cover all bases instead of just jumping to conclusions. That mindset is a lawsuit just waiting to happen. At least they had the decency to talk to op before doing anything.
Story 5... I would say "Yes. I want charges for the slap, for destroying my stapler, threatening to throw the stapler at me, and for giving a false report to the manager and security."
That last story with the stapler is now the second version of the same story that I've heard. The first version is where they actually checked the cameras before calling the police.
Story 3: clearly that guy was of the caveman mentality “Me carry woman! Me strong! Make woman obey!”😂😂😂😂(wouldn’t be surprised at all if he smelled like one too)😂
I'm getting really sick of these people who endanger others by NOT pressing charges against abusers and attackers. It should be mandatory for ALL victims of assault, be it verbal, physical or psychological, to make an Official Police Report. THEIR not wanting the hassle or to be inconvenienced puts others in danger from Karens and Kevins who cross boundaries and is the lousiest excuse imaginable! STOP allowing these Monsters to get away Scott free. Behave responsibly!!!!
Story 3: To all the people who are screaming "police". You see that matter in a much too (US) american way. Here in Germany, things are a little bit different. She was picked up, she was carried some meters, she punshed the guy and he released her. Noone was harmed. The police can file a report, but the court wouldn't care because no real harm was done. Case dismissed due to triviality...
Backpack Story: If I was OP, I'd simply tell the Idiot that I can't drive him anywhere because my License was permanently Revoked after causing too many accidents due to my horrible driving skills...Then I'd just walk away... 😄😁😆😅😂🤣

I want to hear one story where a customer goes up to an employee and that employee denies working there. But that customer is actually right and they figure it out like a hero and gets help after throwing a fit.
In Germany, the police would probably just laugh or be annoyed to have been called for some guy picking up that woman and walking her a few steps while she was picked up. We dont have USA style laws regarding touching other people. Unless the other person is injured it is at best a misdemeanour.
Some people dont feel comfortable calling the police. Some people have been through or seen police mishandle situations. Some of us smoke pot illegally.....

Story 3: in the comments from the original post, I saw something that just grinds my gears. Situations are not "diffused". They are "defused". The first one refers to the entropic action of molecules in liquid or air, osmosis that spreads a high concentration of something into a lower concentration over a larger area. Like how an essential oil aroma diffuses all over the room given enough time. It pertains to _diffusion_ of substances. "Defusing" means removing or disconnecting the part of an explosive charge that sets off the explosive when triggered. It pertains to removing a bomb's _fuse,_ to render it harmless. A bomb squad officer _defuses_ a bomb. When you de-escalate tensions, it is like a bomb squad specialist rendering a bomb harmless.

@@Gwennedd Like father like daughter
Apparently the Entitled Father doesn't know how the public sector works, even though he works in the public sector. You can't just fire someone on a whim. It can take up to three months to fire someone in the public sector.
Moral of the story, don't make threats that you have zero ability to carry out.
I would have made flyers telling everyone to bring their W2 to the accountant at tax time for a free filing. When he complains, turns him in for not being an accountant.
When two wrong brain cells becomes a right to jail card.
Or the "Go directly to jail" card.
@@JamesDavy2009 same thing, different way of saying it.
Story 1 - LOL! What a complete Mo-Ron! Not only demanding a random stranger to take him to a hotel but he also gets his backpack stolen!?
The multitasking fail is almost impressive. ALMOST!
tf is a mo ron? If you’re trying to exaggerate the word moron, the r is part of the first syllable.
Instant Karma LOL. I've traveled through international airports and you keep your eyes open and your hand on your wallet.
@@aduckofsomesort youtube often deletes comments. it's just a way of censoring the word to prevent that whilst still getting the original meaning through.
At least he wasn't picked up and taken to a back alley and given a free surgery 🙄
Like a actually well trained guard would not have acted in the way OP did, it would've ended the moment the karen put his hands on her
Somehow I missed she was a security gaurd😂 Yeah, she needs training.
But poking that guy's eyes out or crushing his larynx is totally fine.
@@emanymton7184 she is still a security officer, pretty sure you'd want to train your officers in case it does happen. Otherwise it makes them just feel like glorified attendants
@@Heirrogance um? No? Dont know where you got that idea from? If you took martial arts you learn that 1. Size does matter, and 2. Looks can be deceiving, I've met some people who are way fucking stronger than the look XD
Even smaller people can still absolutely wreck the shit of a bigger dude given you know how
Story 5: Yeah…some people are just unstable. All of this was over not wanting to pay money to replace a phone because she didn't have the receipt that would've guaranteed a free replacement
My assumption was that was a stolen phone, as it was bricked and she didnt have the receipt. But as there is no proof of that.
Brazil tourist story: I'm curious as to how Richard KNEW OP worked for the hotel. I'm guessing OP wasn't in any kind of uniform. Still, if he was that much of an idiot... But I kind of feel sorry for the guy Richard is thinking of back at the hotel.
Chips story: OP, at least your Uber driver shocked Karen enough to get her to leave first so she didn't follow you home.
German shopping story: OP, first off, ALWAYS press charges!!! Next, the screaming was good, so was the elbow to the face, but when my grandkids were in martial arts, they were taught to scream FIRE (it gets attention), wriggle hard and kick the insides of the person's shins as hard as possible with elbows to the gut. Done right, they drop you.
Fix my phone for free story: Sounds like the university should hire a new accountant.
Replace phone story: OP, very glad you pressed charges. Given her age I have to wonder how many times she's actually gotten away with something like this. Thank goodness store cameras are much more prevalent than they used to be. Karen's forget about that.
He was probably from California and thinks all Mexicans look the same.
Security agent should have pressed charges. Don't let that idiot get away with a slap on the wrist.
Story 3 needs one sentence so badly to be carried out by OP: „Anzeige ist raus“ 😂
HR. Should do a check up on that accountant Make sure he doesn’t mess with the teachers paperwork….
It would have cost her more than $49.99 to bring the case to court. I'm sure she's the life of the party in her retirement villa.
What leads them to that insane behavior is simply, "I WANT something and SOMEONE is going to help me find it! Doesn't matter who; whoever happens to be standing around just got 'promoted' to MY HELPER!"
Way too many Veruca Salts running around.
Story #2 ... here's the applause. I am clapping for you (especially for the, "But wait, there's more!")
I’ve had situations where someone had thought that I worked at Walmart because of a blue coat that I often wear, but that always ends with me saying ‘I’m sorry but I don’t work here’ and they say ‘Oh sorry, my mistake’. But people like Karen from the second story… they’re just stupid.
as im in a wheel chair if i need something and a worker wasnt around i start with i know you dont work here but could you help me and normally they do some look and dont speak English so i point and put my hands together like please and they help
Final Story - Why do people like Karen forget that there are cameras EVERYWHERE!? Enjoy jail Karen!😂😂
story 1. im convinced that the guy who stole the tourists bag saw what was happening and figured "quick buck AND some karma delivery? why not" XD
Awesome Uber driver in story 2. Free return trip and putting a Karen in her place. She deserved that sneaky tip.
Last story when Fluff said they should have called police. They did and she was charged with assault. The black listed was icing on the cake.
Story 5. The very best way to make a angry person flip out, is to give them a big smile!
Stapler Story: If I was OP, the moment Karen came back with the Store Manager and Security Guard, I'd quietly pull out my phone and Text to 911 that I need Officers at [Location in Store] immediately as I'm being Threatened by a Stereotypical Karen that's already broken my stapler after threatening to throw it at my head...
By doing it over Text, Karen should hopefully never realize I've called the Police and that they're on their way and so won't run before they arrive to Arrest her...
😄😁😆😅😂🤣
I didn't know you can text to emergency services. Must be a Yank thing.
@@JamesDavy2009 I know as of 2020 you've been able to Text 911 in Canada and the USA to allow you to be able to silently contact help without alerting Intruders/Attackers/Kidnappers...
Story 3 - Nope, manager should have called police regardless. It would have been out of OP's hands - an attempted KIDNAPPING would have charges pressed 100%
EVERY store with electronics has cameras..why didnt the manager automatically check them when someone yells assault?
I do love these stories, but I hate it when Karens make-up stories to try and get others jailed
If it wasnt illegal do to the 8th i would say fine liars 10k to keep them in check.
It's not their fault, it's a mental illness.
Omg story 3! I am not a person who likes cops. But these entitled people who haven’t learned how to behave in public I firmly believe calling the police is the only way to correct that behaviour.
Story 3: In Europe the treshold to calling police is somewhat higher than in US (at least according to these stories).
Correct, and also for pressing charges
Tourist rule numbah! 1: NEVER in a foreign country carry a backpack or suitcase in your daily activities, leave it in your hotel room Especially if it has lettering or logos not native to the country you're in!
And anything else they find is bonus
I usually only carry bottled water and a sandwich so I'd laugh if someone stole mine cause all they'd find is a maybe empty water bottle, granola wrapper and a half eaten turkey sandwich 😂
@@sabrinastratton1991 it's been a few years since I've traveled, but a friend gave me a great idea : take an obviously touristy back pack and fill it with bricks / scrap metal as much as a well built person can carry, the deliberately set it down (at a ticket counter or restaurant/ bar) then take 2-3 steps away and wait :P
You know people often complain how we're in a surveillance world nowadays, and to an extent that is cause for concern, but on the flipside if it wasn't for all the cameras criminals, thugs and entitled brats would have a much easier time being Karma Houdini's.
Story 5: Yet another example proving that the Official Karen Playbook was written before security cameras were a thing and hasn't been updated...
We have so many Karens because we are not pressing charges on them. By letting them get away with their behavior, they continue to be their nasty selves.
You have to love CCTV cameras. They are a good person's best friend and a bad person's worst enemy. They make everyone that views the video a witness to the event.
Still don't get how people can think you work somewhere if you don't wear the (often branded) uniform...
And even íf you know someone works somewhere (and are right about it) as soon as they leave the building, leave the area/grounds/surroundings and/or either isn't wearing the uniform or hiding the uniform it's pretty sure they are off the clock and just wanna go home -They have NO obligation to help you with your *cough request *cough
I learned in security yraining, no one ever looks up, reads signs, or notices clothing. Karens are like Pit Vipers, they only seem to see body heat. Any warm body is placed on Earth to serve her! No logic or common sense at all. 🤨
It's also illegal for them to work off the clock.
Story 3: Always call police!!! That guy basically assaulted OP and practically held OP hostage!!!
It amazes me how many victims allow the egotistical bullies (Karens), to get away with assault and other rude behaviour.
Them: excuse me but I need help!
Me: I'm sorry I'm not a trained psychologist!
S3 - that creep wasn’t looking for an employee, he was planning to SA her. That’s why he was asking why she was wearing slacks.
LMAO as a brazilian, the moment they told that the backpack was stolen, I KNEW it was in Brazil
My automatic response to someone slapping me is to slap back.
Mine's not, they get a closed fist
I regularly watch a certain YT food channel, with a very nice young lady as the content creator/host. She recently was on a trip to Europe, and stepped a few feet from her back pack, and sure enough it was stolen! Later her camera bag got stolen too! We aren't safe anywhere! 😮
"Pick up" story.... She should have given him a hard kick where it hurts most, and have him arrested and charged! 😡
OP SHOULD’VE CALLED POLICE ON STORY 3!? NO REASON TO EVER PICK SOMEONE UP THAT WAS ATTEMPTING KIDNAPPING AND ASSUALT!? UNLESS you’re a parent and picking up your kid
The third story, the OP *SHOULD,* have had the police called und charges pressed.
I can absolutely see the tourist complaining that the op set him up to have his backpack stolen.
Story 1: Well, it's Rio and he kinda deserved it. I've been to Rio and the first rule there is to blend in and keep your things safe. And I'd like to apologize to OP as being an American, I am horrified.
Story 3: ALWAYS PRESS CHARGES. Yes, get the police involved.
Story 4: I never would have given that little brat my ID. That was none of her business. Following that I would file charges against that father with HR for creating a hostile workplace.
Story 5: Why didn't that bonehead SG look at the film first before doing ANYTHING? That would save plenty of time and lies.
Popular German grocery store that sells lamps...I'm imagining Aldi.
Story 4 -- Daniel should have been fired for expecting a teacher to fix his daughter's phone. Also, if this occurred at a private college in the US, it's important to know that the family members of employees often get free or greatly reduced tuition. So, if Phone Girl wasn't a student at the time, she probably would be in the near future. God help the faculty if that happens.
"I don't work here, Karen!"
Put it on a T-shirt and sell them in your merch store.
5:35 with the ol' HI BILLY MAYS HERE! ...Y'know, as obnoxious as his presentations were, you gotta respect how he made himself unforgettable.
That last story with the stapler is now the second version of the same story that I've heard. The first version is where they actually checked the cameras before calling the police.
$50.00 phone. The warranty would expire as soon as you left the building.
"You teach IT, you should fix this"
You're an accountant, go do my taxes.
10:30 the dude definition would have been catching hands.
Story 3: clearly that guy was of the caveman mentality
“Me carry woman!
A lot of Yanks are ignorant of the fact that there's a world outside of their country.
Backpack Story: If I was OP, I'd simply tell the Idiot that I can't drive him anywhere because my License was permanently Revoked after causing too many accidents due to my horrible driving skills...Then I'd just walk away...
😄😁😆😅😂🤣
Story #3, "Are all the lamps gone already" was actually the code phrase for a spy contact, and the giant russian dude was trying to eliminate someone who knew too much.
I want to hear one story where a customer goes up to an employee and that employee denies working there. But that customer is actually right and they figure it out like a hero and gets help after throwing a fit.
Karens seem to have a mental block about remembering that stores and things have cameras.
Imaging following someone to their car 😂😂😂😂😂 bruh like how do they think that’s okay
Pot is legal now in Germany.
Can you imagine Karens in the pre store cameras days!
story 3 - He moved her physically... Yeah thats technically kidnapping...
OP was asked why she was wearing slacks .... "Um, well sir, they frown on female customer coming into the store bottomless."
Story 1: Ye gods, karen. Keep ahold of your stuff even in 1st world regions, nevermind Rio.
Story 2: That Uber driver is a keeper.
Story 3: Always. Press. Charges.
Story 4: facepalm
Story 5: Cameras, crucifixes for karens.
Story 3: Germany. Is. Not. The. US
The OP who was picked up by the man should've stated when he said, "You're wearing pants," "You're wearing pants too. Do you work here?"😄
My dog used to be similar to casper very vocal and reactive
I trained him
He's much calmer now
I still keep up his training as hes showing more improvement
Story 4: if that was a state university, Daniel, the accountant Karen/father would at a minimum be fired for misappropriating state funds (IT time) for personal use (his daughter's phone).
U should have pressed the issue to get his butt fired
the accounting guy tell him to his face since hes an accountant your doing my taxes for free ,,,then and watch the look on his face lol
Rule number 1 of all these stories...If someone has to ask if you want to press charges, then answer yes.
2:08 "How dumb could that man possibly be?"
Better hope that guy never sees this....because, to someone like that, that's a CHALLENGE.
