I love how Lindsey answers this one....in all fairness, it wasn't really an appropriate question to ask her, but her strength, integrity, and willfulness to discuss it are testament to her character. If she had been filtered through a publicist, I'd figure the interview would have ended. Lindsey is a class act all around! She lives what she says and all her actions reflect that! So refreshing in times where other celebrities can't even come close. God bless Lindsey forever!
We agree with you Wayne Alexander - it might have been a quite offensive questions but the way Lindsey answered it shows that she is a very inspiring and open person!

She is so sweet, i am to Violinist and her fan but when i heard about her Faith and morals i fell in love in her even more.
God definitely made a jem. Love your views on life, truth & how you do not let influences change who you are. Just such a strong woman inside & out.
Lindsey's faith is so inspiring...that'd be awesome to be with the person you love forever and ever. I wouldn't drink or do drugs either if it meant I could have that. I guess one day we'll figure out if Mormon eternal marriage is real or not.

***** That's the FLDS Church, nOT the Mormon Church. Educate yourself & stop spreading misinformation. The Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints practices polygamy, nOT the present-day Mormon/LDS Church.
***** Oh you mean those flds branches? Yes, I guess out of about 200 branches which split out of the LDS church, some do. Not the actual lds church. LDS church is not doing illegal things (such as selling girls). You are reffering to one of those illegal branches (which also hide wives in Mexico and other places to practice polygamie) and none of those 200 branches are related with the lds church, which is the one Lindsey Stirling is a member of.
I don't know if you'll ever see this, but I want to thank you, Lindsey. I'm a Roman Catholic, and I share the same view on protecting that sacredness as well. You allowed Jesus to speak through you about it, and I'm so happy you did! God bless you, and I hope you have a safe tour this summer!

thanks for talking about this in a public setting, i always feel like a crazy person when people question me about it. it is a sacred act and we dont need to be connecting our selves to everyone else willy nilly.

Fun fact: a study showed that sex education through abstinence leads to an increase in STDs and unplanned children. It's not exactly practical, and I'd also debate the moral standpoint too.

Well, I don't think the question about sex was inappropriate. It could have been if the interviewer asked that too directly but in the context of talking about religion, it's perfectly fair to be curious about no sex before marriage. It shouldn't be a taboo question

Love is a fallacy. It is only for the accomplished, confident, young, and attractive people. I am 60, and not once has a girl acknowledged my existence, let alone anything else. Bitter? Yup, bit him too!
it's been awhile since I last commented on this video but I feel like it's necessary since I've learned more about Mormonism and I've had the things that I've previously said actually confirmed to me again despite people in the comments saying otherwise. I highly suggest anybody who was a Mormon look up Telltale video series on Mormonism. It's very insightful and only show you how much of an evil organization Mormonism really is. the reason why I'm so adamant about this is because I myself have grown up in a cult and I know what it's like. And it breaks my heart to see a beautiful and highly talented person like Lindsey Stirling being misled and used by the LDS Church.

The mormon religion has a lot of beautiful and inspiring concepts within it. However this does not make it true. There are many fanciful things in this world that are beautiful and inspiring, but that does not make them any less a fantacy. People tend to believe in things they WANT to be true; but wanting something to be true and it actually being true is not always the same thing.
I was born and raised Mormon; and my wife and I were even married in a Mormon temple. We thought we were to be "man and wife" for eternity. This was all before we came to find out about the "not so good" side of mormanism and realized our "eternal marriage" was nothing more that fantacy. This doesn't mean I don't believe I will have a special relationship with the soul I currently know as my wife in the next relm; because I do. But the concept of marriage between two people is an earthly concept we have created for this life and relm.
For me, Lindsey can believe in unicorns and I still love and respect her. That's the only way to live a good life, without bothering around.
Aaron Kelley you are right, pretty speach doesn't make what was said true, but your religion never intended that. In fact Missionaries almost always say "don't just believe us, ask God and believe Him", that challenge to me sounds more Christian than believing jn the Bible just based on some archeological research that only proofs the history but not the miracles :/
Kevin D. Najera Of course they're going to tell you that. That's the biggest cop out in all of religion, being that it's not really God you're asking; it's just your own bias tainted mind. You've already subconsciously made the decision of it being true before you start praying.
Aaron Kelley that doesn't make much sense considering many of these people already have a churh they attend to... They then take the challenge and pray to then change to the LDS church. Why would they change to another Church if they already have one which tends to be more confy and suitable for a relaxing life?
+Kevin D. Najera It makes plenty of sense. Everyone has their own personal reasons for making a change like that in their life so I can't begin to tell you what that might be for anyone. But something attracted them to the LDS faith and that's what's really driving their decisions.
Why didn't she just come out and say " You're really religious, are you a virgin?" After all thats what the interviewer wanted to know anyway. Like its any of her business or anyone else's for that matter. Guess European interviewers don't have any reservations about asking personal questions.
On a side not. Based on her eye movement throughout the interview when answering questions. I think she answered the no sex question truthfully. Although she was probably thinking I can't believe she asked me that.

Perfect example of how not to do an interview, I'm talking about the interviewer of course, this reporter is very nosy, disrespectful, inapropriate questions. I think I would have walked off if I were to get asked quetions like that.
Lindsey, I pray that you'll follow the one true God that is creator, father, Jesus Christ and holy spirit that has always existed and always will exist, and that there will be no other God beside him. Isaiah 44:6. :) and I pray that you'll read the scriptures and come to a true understanding by the revelation of scripture of who God is and that he is who he says he is. And btw, he says that we won't meet up with out spouses and be married in eternity, or given in marriage, but we will have glorified bodies and will be like the Angels in heaven. Matthew 12:18-25. 2. it's not about magic, it uses the moon as a metaphor (just like the ballerina was a metaphor). and since artemis is the greek goddess of the moon and is called a "bringer of light", she is the character that represents the themes of the album. As much as I love this lady as a very talented performer. I just cannot see how she belongs to a cult-like religion that devalues women in almost every way of life. I personally abandoned catholasim, the hypocrisy is stagering. If she believes, that is on her.
