more actual than ever. when blackout hits ham radio will be very valueable. I did my License recently. When SHTF you should be prepared and many underestimate the importance of comms.

There are many of factors in prepping.
One place I found which succeeds in merging these is the Micaden survive system
(google it if you're interested) definately the most incredible survival resource that I have ever heard of.
look at the interesting free video.

This man has been doing this long before he retired. If you don't like to learn, or at least play the what-if game, where it's not "the end of the world" but the end of the world we know, then don't watch. and 0mZ042 you're right, they're just vigilant, and yeah maybe a little bored. ;)

This guy has a PACE plan, but do his neighbors have one? If he, as their "hub" goes down, do they have alternative comms or are they just depending on him?

That is wonderful that you have all this knowledge of communication skills. However, the average person knows nothing of this. I agree communication is extremely important, but so is food and water to survive. If World War III starts, then we won’t have to worry about any of this.

Are you really mocking others in the radio community for having an easy way to communicate with rescuers or others in times of emergency? Even more so this is more than just him being a nut job, it’s his job, he’s a contractor

That’s not what HAM is for 😂 look up how many people have an FCC license for HAM radio there’s millions of people that use these for communication still
