- This video is of a walk in Tomaree National Park, The walk goes from the base of Mt Tomaree visiting Zenith, Wreck and Box beaches before finishing the video at the Fingal Spit.

Thanks Hazel. I knew the area a little bit and had been to a couple of the beaches from the adjacent carparks and I have to admit I hadn't done my research and the hills in the walk came as a bit of a surprise. Thanks for the comment. Hope you are well and hope you're having a good week.

What a gorgeous national park.
Very lucky around here. So many different national parks within a couple hours drive, each with their own individual appeal.
Like! I can see why that beach area is your favourite. It is gorgeous. I like how the little water waves come in and swirl a little bit - as they rocks and the (above water) beach sand. Yeah, it looks like it has more places to explore too. Plus, the views are just beautiful.

There are many beautiful beaches up in that area. There are a few other walks up there that I hope to do in the not too distant future.

Yes I was lucky to have the place pretty much to myself. I tend to do walks on weekdays and most people are at work. This place is a couple hours from my home and is a favourite place to go for the day or a weekend.

Yes its a trail that isn't often walk. I saw it on the map and put together a walk I looked for other videos of this trail but couldn't find any. Its worth it. Its a long walk back so suggest having a car parked at the end if possible, There is a bus that takes yo to Shoal Bay I think.

Thanks Des. This place is a couple hours up the coast fro where I live and I go up there a few time a yeah. Hope to go up there to go on a whale watching tour when the whales pass in a month or two.

Thanks Chris... lol .... We have had our share of gale force winds recently making it impossible to go out. Then we have a day like today when I was thinking of going for a bush walk and looked at the temperature and decided it was going to be too hot..... BTW ... It's autumn........

This is a beautiful area about 90 minutes from my home. Luckily you can still get into the water keep cool and stay safe just dont go too deep.

Hi Mark! Nice to learn about Tomaree N.P. What a lovely area with quite a few sandy beaches to choose from! Nice to have some shade for part of your walk… it does get difficult and slows you down when the trails are sandy like the beach… you got in quite a few km, great tour! Is the water warm enough for swimming? The water off our coast is way too cold for me 😄☀️☀️ 👍
Glad you enjoyed it Jennifer. ITs a great area, Not only the national park. I go there a few times a year. Will go whale watching there in the near future.Yes it was warm enough to swim and I did. I didn't think people wanted to see me doing that..... lol I did run into people from Arizona that were visiting on vacation and were just about to go for a swim.
