- My first New England Patriots 7-round mock draft including highlights of every player: Full breakdown of every pick below 👇
1.3
Drake Maye, North Carolina
6’4 229 lbs
The Patriots get their franchise quarterback with a fantastic runner, deep ball thrower, and “makes all the throws”-er.
2.34
Jordan Morgan, Arizona
6’5 312
Offensive tackle has been the Patriots worst position the past couple years, and Morgan has the ability to step right in and protect Drake Maye as the starting left tackle.
3.68
Ennis Rakestraw Jr, Missouri
6’0 188 lbs
Little unlikely that Rakestraw is still available here, but he would be a fantastic selection if he is. The Patriots need depth at outside corner, and Rakestraw would fill that role well with his impressive man-coverage skills. A great choice to line up opposite Christian Gonzalez.
4.103
Johnny Wilson, Florida State
6’7 237 lbs
The Patriots will be in desperate need of depth at both receiver and tight end, so why not just get a hybrid of both? Wilson was coached by Troy Brown at the Senior Bowl, and would finally replace Devante Parker as the outside contested catch specialist. The rest of the receiver overhaul should come through free agency.
5.135
Will Reichard, Alabama
6’1 194 lbs
I will forever love Ryland for his Christmas miracle kick, but the guy was the worst kicker in the NFL in 2023. Reichard holds the record for most points in NCAA history, and should be a great replacement. Also, unlike Ryland and Folk, Reichard can actually make tackles on kickoffs.
6.181
Dylan Laube, New Hampshire
5’10, 207 lbs
The Patriots have been in dire need for a true receiving back ever since James White retired following 2021. They find one in this late round gem who once recorded 295 receiving yards in a single game.
7.228
Jaylen Harrell, Michigan
6’4 251 lbs
I have my doubts that Josh Uche will be returning, so why not try to replace him with another athletic Michigan edge rusher? - Спорт
My mock draft for our team
R1: Jayden Daniels QB LSU
R2: Jordan Morgan OT Arizona
R3: Malachi Corley WR Western Kentucky
R4: Adisa Isaac EDGE Penn State
R5: Chau Smith Wade CB Washington State
R6: Dallin Holker TE Colorodo State
R62: Brandon Colemon G TCU
R7: Malik Mustapha S Wake Forest
Big fan of Chau Smith Wade. I still prefer Maye to Daniels, but I like both. It is starting to look like the Commanders might go Jayden tho and leave us the Drake
Not gonna lie, I'm fine with Maye if Commanders take Jayden.
@@tomega7892 I hope they do 🙏
I'm going wr in the 2nd
I personally would rather fix our receiver room through free agency than trust this team to draft another receiver high, unless it’s MHJ of course. Just out of curiosity, who do you like in the 2nd? I really like Legette but I haven’t looked in too deeply otherwise.
I do not want to draft another Kicker. I'm all for using some of our cap on a big name WR, but if Marvin Harrison Jr. is there at 3, I'm taking him.
There’s no way we can trot Ryland back out there, but I’d be fine with signing a kicker in free agency. I agree about Marvin. Between Maye, Williams and him I think we should just take whoever of the three is available
@@patpatriotfootball If we have to take a QB in the draft with our #3 pick, I want Jayden Daniels.
I agree, we need a new kicker, but I don't want to draft one again LOL

Im going to say this since people dont have their own opinions anymore. Without the media, twitter, Instagram etc. You went out an scouted these guys you'd say wow Caleb williams made fantastic throws and magic BUT he didnt need to. He got nervous under ACC pressure constantly and struggle to throw into thight windows. Which in the nfl those levels of players you have to create those windows . Caleb Williams wouldnt even be in the top 10 conversation especially with that attitude vs Spencer Rattler No oline always made the throws at every level, mobile but doesnt just tuck and run for no reason. high character and locker room guy after being a little shit. Same knocks on him as C.J Stroud.. Definitely top 5 pick and you can go ahead and do this with Maye hes accurate but when he isnt boy he would throw many, many, many picks in the nfl a josh allen type turning the ball over constantly wont amount to anything in the league. Yes you can be flashy but like Brady said if you see your guy in double coverage and you can make that big play maybe it gets picked maybe it doesn't but why not check it down for 10 and keep taking yards. Brady career in a nutshell and patrick mahomes this last Superbowl. Now Daniels amazing athlete, average arm puts the ball on the money deep and mid range but when it comes to short range its not the best boardline atrocious. But he reads defense really well which is a shock moving safety's with his eyes and almost never stares down one or two receivers. The most starts in with different teams and offense in the draft so he has a good track record and experience which is crucial. People need to learn to do their own eye test. So give me in the 1st round MHJ or Joe Alt then in the 2nd trade back for an additional 2nd OT + WR . 3rd Edge 4th Spencer Rattler then CB, TE, RB, OL after that. Thats how you build a successful team of young players where you fill holes and needs Im going to say this since people dont have their own opinions anymore. Im fine with MHJ or Alt for a future mock but I have no faith in Rattler. We need to start over with a new QB and we can’t be aiming so low
@@patpatriotfootball Rattler is a heavy sleeper I respect your opinion though. If he's on the right team with pieces around him. I guarantee he'll dominate. But I'm not bringing in a QB into the situation we have right now without getting a move the needle Play Maker and A Franchise protector on offense.
@@ramseykerkula7758 Offensive line needs to be huge focus no matter what, agreed
@@patpatriotfootball facts my guy protect your guy! We don't want a Justin Fields, Bryce Young Situation
