I HAVE ALWAYS FOUND GREAT COMFORT THAT IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD GOOD HAS SOMEHOW ALWAYS MANAGED TO TRIUMPH OVER EVIL. DURING TIMES OF HEARTBREAK, BEAUTY CAN BE ONE OF THE WAYS TO MAINTAIN FAITH.

What a beautiful collection, eatherial and at the same time a kind of sadness or longing. The music was just chef's kiss and was very emotional. The silhouette of the models walking through the fog makes you uncertain whether it's an angel guiding you to heaven or Chiron taking you to the underworld.
Elegant, cinematic, and I love the use of Mahler. Feels like I just fell in love with an alien at a train station on Mars.
“Smoke gets in your eyes”… so poetic, so quiet. I love how you see the shapes when they get closer, and disappear when they walk away.
The elegance.. the beauty... thank you for keeping it alive
FUCKING SUBLIME! This is definitely stepping it up this season. There’s life, maturity, and modernity to this collection that was kinda missing from the menswear collection. LOVED the emotion of the soundtrack, too! Giving me all the feels!!!!!!!!!!!!! There was positivity and grace to this collection that was great. Even better to read the show notes where it mentions that despite in turmoil, it’s good to step it up and look your best to bring positivity into the world.

Through the darkness the woman smokes away the negative and promises hope at the end of the fog.. Mr.Owens has created a unique world and this collection will be mentioned as one , if not, his best work to date .
I would like to see less elegance meaning shiny, night time looks an more daytime looks for today.

The highest of turtleneck warmth, the shapes of the fabric, the floating boots, the wind nuclear blasted hair just made me lose it combined with the music.

Heavenly and ethereal
Even though the adagietto of Mahler's 5th symphony has been used before in other fashion shows and movies and sounds familiar even if you don't know who created it (very Death in Venice); there was still a dissonance between the sentimentality of the song and the excellence of the cut of the clothes that kept it from becoming saccharine.
The models moving thru the thick fog and carrying the portable fog machines gave it a silent film feel-like Mary Pickford at a train stop flickering in front of us; little puffs of steam dotting the horizon as the train moves on.
Through the scrim of fog you can still see the incredible use of materials-python being the first to come to mind. Python puffers, matte sequins with their muted glow and heavy warm looking wools. Tonal plays of orange and rust. The well chosen greens that are a visual respite from the darker clothes.
The problem of the plexiglass platform shoes has been resolved. They've always been a great idea, but stood out in past collections. This season, they are integrated into the clothes and finish the silhouette, becoming part of the whole elegantly.
Even on a RUclips video, this show comes through as a real fashion moment. I heard a couple of "bravos" at the end. They sounded sincere. I agree; it was beautiful to watch.

Rick never intended to be a perfectionist designer nor wanted to be the next Lagerfeld or Dior. I have worn Rick over the years and I must say there is a certain level of discomfort but what is Rick selling here is dressing for fantasy and living that. So in a way, comfy or not, ugly or beautiful, I go back to Rick. Yes you may say the struggling models were painful to watch, but it is okay! I struggle wearing Ricks too and other conceptual deisgners yet it is worth it.
I love that each show is a love letter to us, his fans. To live a life of fantasy.

I will recognize the artistic attempt made. But wow that was bad, from the color to the stairs it was overall just bad to watch, there could have been so many ways it could have been made better.
the color was beautiful. Deathly and ethereal at the same time. Same with the clothes. Nuclear and post apocalyptic but also eternal, purgatory and labyrinthian. Just as fashion is dwarfed by the struggles and events of the modern world, so too is this collection shrouded in a thick sickly smoke. It was beautiful. Dune meets Lost in New York, Lord of the Rings and On the Silver Globe

Absolutely. If you know, you know. If you don't, you won't. If it's all about getting paid I suggest you check out H&M or Zara instead. Some people treat fashion as a business, as an industry, as something to make money off of. Fashion in that sense is about delivering the trendiest products to the mass market, phasing out whatever's not the hottest at a moment's notice. This is something else, an artist expressing his vision, letting us into his mind through his work. It is a reflection of his soul, and it is timeless. If you see all fashion as just this huge factory plant race then of course you wouldn't be able to appreciate the work of a fashion designer.
