Sometimes when I am deciding on what price to list an item, I look at current listings and of course sold listings, and choose a seller that has a lot of feedback and tweak their price according to my liking. My thinking is that this person has been selling for quite a while and has a good handle on the pricing strategy.
Hi Sandra! Best reseller channel and content on YT! Thanks for your time and talent! Your short cuts to determine comps and sell thru rates are fantastic. Super helpful!!
After checking other sellers' prices, if I find the identical item I price mine a dollar less. If it's a bit different I stay within a range, not making it too low or too high. If it's vintage I will sell higher than you might think since vintage buyers are looking for uniqueness.
Sandra, I want to thank you for making these videos. I am new to some of the platforms and I am definitely making some of the mistakes you are mentioning. I will be updating my listings following your advice. Many blessings ❤ to you. Again, thank you!
Hi Sandra, I just want to say I love your videos. I've watched a lot of other videos and I find that they don't really provide any information except what they've sold for that week. While that is helpful in some aspects it's not realist too because not everyone can find the same bolos. So I really like how give a breakdown and teach us how to navigate both ebay and poshmark. As a new seller, I've tried watching many other youtubers and still walk not knowing what I'm doing wrong. Thanks for all your tips and tricks. I'm starting to source better. Can you do a video about how you ship shoes? That is one area I struggle the most. Thanks!
Your YT channels are nice and detailed. Do you recommend if you have shoes, or handbags and dresses they be photographed together? Should you do all shoes at one time and so on? Thank you
What is your opinion on the suggested price on both eBay and Poshmark? I usually check comps, and then check the suggested average price, and decide from both sources what to price at.
I never actually pay attention to suggested prices. I think they are a good resource to go by as a beginner, but ultimately their are too many factors to consider with pricing.
I'd need to create my own to make it downloadable. I got the one I use from this Poshmark listing: poshmark.com/listing/Offer-Cheat-Sheet-5c095cca4ab6331d3e129451
That depends on a lot of factors- your business model, what type of items you're selling, how long you're willing to wait on a sale, will it be a high or low profit, do you sell on other platforms. For me the closer str is to 50% the better and if it's above that even better.
@@SandraTheMomBoss I do comps but not in depth comps because I don't like being in stores too long. I use lens and if the shoe is selling for 25 or above and is in good condition or just is a pair of tennis shoes that aren't terrible my weakness) I pick it up.
I follow your instructions yesterday and got two old ones sold. Thank you 😊
When lower priced items haven't sold, I will sometimes RAISE the price and BINGO - sold!
Interesting. I think sometimes going too low can reduce the perceived value of an item.
I've done the same!

Great points!
100%. Each platform and place has its own comps. One platform may sell same one for higher price than others.
That makes things even more confusing sometimes.
Excellent tutorial,,very clear & helpful.Thank you

Do you have a video on how to create a coupon on eBay?
Yes, this link should take you straight to that topic: ruclips.net/video/QJKlitkRiMU/видео.htmlsi=xtJe7bjW0h3StbW1&t=1453

@@SandraTheMomBoss Thanks! (btw Used shoes I get for around 5 bucks each except for rare special cases, only ebay and Mercari)

@@extraHERO Same... try not to spend too much time doing comps. It's my least favorite thing to do in reselling.
