Genuine question, not trying to be offensive but i really want to educate myself on this matter for better understanding on what "Naga Freedom" is.
    1. What is Naga freedom ? And why do we want it ? what oppression are we suffering today ?
    2. Hypothetically even if we get freedom how will Nagaland support it's economy and threat of neighboring country invading?
in a "free Nagaland" will it be any better? if indian government will stop investing in this place, there will be no medical facilities, no education institution, no mega projects, till to this day all of our projects are funded by indian government, infact we are in almost 17000 crore in debt because there is no big economic hub or manufacturing unit in Nagaland that can pay back. Sure there is oil in areas like Mokokchung, but how long will it last till we have to buy it at higher rate from other places?
in a "free Nagaland" for common people all i can see is high tax, no development, and a place ruled by military, this place will be no better than North Korea or China under Nagaland own rule.

      you will have access to
      -loans from world bank
-investment from both china and indian and force completion driving up the money you get
      - airport and more tourist money
      - stronger passport and ability for citizens to goto japan or korea and send money back like people do in vietnam

Hello! I am happy that you want to know more about the Nagas. Maybe I'll try my best to enlighten you.
      1) Naga freedom is the desire for self-determination and autonomy. We want it because we don't want to be ruled or governed by other people who do not have any idea about the Nagas. Also, the way Indians are handling the north-east region makes it paranoid for the people living in the north-east. For example, the northeast hills and valleys are full of resources and can suffice for a country alone. The Indians want these resources, finding out ways to steal them without letting the common people know, but the rebels in the regions are also aware of these and safeguard them. Oppression suffered and still being suffered by the Nagas now include the delaying of the actual continuation of the Indo-Naga peace talks, the use of AFSPA, spreading false propaganda, the use of proxy wars, and playing the tactic 'Divide and dominate'.
      2) Hypothetically, if we get freedom, the economy need not be worried because the partition from India and Myanmar would allow both countries to give several financial figures to the government who will be representing Nagalim or Nagaland. Now, coming to the threats of neighbouring countries, if you are aware of the Indo-Naga Peace Accord, there is a point that says India must give temporary security until the governed 'Nagalim' is cemented with a strong base. So we can say we would be stress-free.
Lastly, I would like to share my views on the statement of your views on the last part. In Free Nagaland, the starting of a country can be and would be very challenging yet not impossible. It would take practically 10-20 years to create a strong base. Also, if Nagaland gets independence, I don't see any reason why there would be many tax demands. It's just that taxes are being collected now to support the cause. Once the cause is finished, taxes will be finished too.
I hope I helped you with this little information I have shared. Kuknalim!

Ahh... Try to learn how the world works and the geopolitics. Which country is funding the infrastructure development that's going on right now in Northeast India? What's the purpose of international organisations like the UN, IMF, etc. Then your question will be cleared. Learn and digest our history and I assure you that you'll even start disliking Mahatma Gandhi but only if you have the indigenous DNA and emotions and the statistical data of the discrimination faced by the indigenous community or communities of this Earth. This is about the choices between SURVIVAL or EXTINCTION and not purely about MONEY!!

The first step of an imperialism is to make the oppressed dependent on them, so that they would have the tendency to purview their self determination as ridiculous and unachievable.
I would suggest u read on topics about cultural hegemony by imperial power and Neo - Colonialism and much more. I can provide examples as such that of african continent where all the countries looks like functioning according to their own system of governance be it democracy or military rule, but it suffers from post colonial sickness, imperialism, and mainly neo colonialism which is why Africa being the richest continent still suffers from starvation and poor economy. And to add to that the countries such as France, Usa and other western countries are profiting from Africa's minirals not by direct intervention but by puppet governments of african people themselves.

I think overseas Nagas/naga supporters have a warped sense of reality. As a naga from the Indian state of Nagaland, i can confidently say that the Indian state has tried their best to provide the best infrastructure for education, logistics, transport, storage, etc. Moreover numerous schemes have been introduced for the benefit of the Nagas and it is from these investments made by the Indian government that we have so many educated Nagas who are excelling in various fields not only in Nagaland but across India and the world. But unfortunately, Nagas being narroe minded, we have corrupted ourselves by the blind pursuit of wealth and also the rampant tribalism existing across all the tribes of Nagaland and beyond. We were never a "nation" and the lavk of a common indigenous langauge and the absence of a strong military and instituional structure among Naga tribes has resulted in the utter failure of the Naga ambition to become a "nation".
As of today, we are much happier staying within the Indian union. We just have to go across the borders in Myanmar, across Longwa village and Pansha villages of Nagaland and see how nagas in Myanmar are suffering from poor governance. Nagas will be in a worst state if ever we get independence but thankfully a strong Indian state will ensure that the minority separatists will never be able to achieve that utterly useless goal. Kuknalim and love live India

Ur litterally in a channel that openly supports, "Naga freedom" ofc you'll find most of the supporters here to be separatists.
Most Nagas I've met both in Nagaland and here in my state Arunachal, tend to be pretty accepting of Indian identity specially the youth, they know it's a nationality not an ethinicity unlike many of these idiots here.

I'm a naga belonging to a common class of people n a small business man...my point of view is NSCNs should stop taxation frm its own people... Gandhiji n subash Chandra Bose never led their revolutionary movement taking taxation frm their own people and never added to their luxury lives unlike NSCNs...but what I alone can do when the entire nagas just close their eye even if it's not the right thing...to all the siblings of NSCNs never show your wealth to us it's our wealth that your parents have looted from our hard earn money in the name naga political solution...
