That doesn't seem like the traditional wedding mate. Thats completely against what Nepali tradition is. You need to attend the wedding at village or remote area to enjoy and see how a traditional wedding looks like. Traditional methods are depleting these days due to influence from western countries. Anyways you can see these kinda wedding here in Australia as well.

Rituals r same n the way of marriage by priest is same but just the way of celebration is different than village..80 percent nepali wedding is like this..In context of wedding,way n rituals which our priest does is same from past to present.. Just the way of giving party n celebration is different..So, don't say that it's not typical nepali wedding..And wedding of remote villages r only typical wedding,which is not true..n by the way,it seems like post wedding party... because there is no mandap with priest..
This looks like a post wedding reception !! In Nepal, weddings lasts for a couple of days - unless someone chooses to do it all in one day - from the video, it looks like it is last day of wedding !! Hope you get to attend full wedding someday - it’s wild !! 😊

After almost 25 years I got to still say one of the best days of my life was when I married my Thai wife in Thailand what an experience.

This is not Even traditional wedding bro..These people are influenced by indian wedding system.. Nepalese wedding system with Nepalese song with Nepalese traditional Baja ( musical instruments) and Pooja is totally different vibe..

It's a engagement I think and Nepali weddings are different than this.
It is either reception or engagement, not the wedding day. The wedding has a lot more going on and feels more traditional.
Those saying it is against culture, it is not. There are some mandatory customs to fulfill in reception/engagement, other than that people can have extra celebrations in their own way.

It's people's choice obviously!looks like it was just an engagement party or may be party after the marriage cause all we saw there was party and dance..we didn't see the actual marriage ceremony anyway tts nice that Jack is enjoying...Tara Sab indian songs and dance ..nepali Pani Tanna ramro Cha trust me..these are the small reason that most of the foreigners think Nepal belongs to India and indian and nepali language is same...Hami nepali taal parey indian lay vanda khatra Hindi bolchau when uni haru lae desh ma if u go to south and other state they themseld don't speak Hindi but their native language and English..Am gonna married complete nepali way with full.nepali music..afnopan! Even though I do appreciate diversity and welcoming the culture..!

I actually went to Nepal once and someone offered me an invitation to their sisters wedding this is not really their cultural wedding as often it is done in streets or open fields if Im correct
There are different religions in Nepal, and each of them have different wedding. The one you saw is that common weeding where the marraige first take place from girl side and second the boy will give a party like that you saw on video.
This is a nepali traditional but little bit only come to remote area there is real nepali traditional wedding
