I don’t thinks there’s been a regression. 1. Playing the Steelers and eagles in 4 days, this late in the season is a lot to ask of any team 2. The rib injury is clearly limiting him 3. The o line was terrible against the eagles 4. The receivers dropped 6 passes against the Steelers and we still put up 27 6. The eagles are stacked on defense at every position especially Dline and secondary. We just didn’t have the personal to match it 5. We need another number 1 receiver. Terry isn’t enough I’m usually pessimistic but I expect us to beat the brakes off the cowboys. With that being said. This offseason will be the 2nd most offseason in the past 30 years (1st being last year). We have the cap space and the picks to load up on both sides of the ball. Sorry if I’m rambling incoherently. I have not yet had my coffee and cannot wait till next Sunday
Holding the lead until the 4th and then losing is getting beat. But. It just shows you are on the same level, just not quite ready to put it all together. They didn’t get dominated. They weren’t losing the whole game. They didn’t look like they don’t belong. They just lost a close, hard fought game by both sides.
