If you check the Newspaper Clipping on Bob's Wall, you'll see that in his prime he swam through a typhoon to save a sinking cruise ship and saved several thousand lives. That has to be way more impressive than anything he did in his old age. He literally had to swim through a typhoon, move a cruise ship on his back, and swim back to shore with it all. Swimming is already more difficult than walking or running, but Bob was dragging nearly 600 Tons through a heavy storm. Edit Another thing. Superman can apparently control his strength very well. That's why he doesn't kill Lois when he has sex with her. But he has to be very careful. Now he could go all out with Wonder Woman but would destroy any building he was inside at the time.
One feat of strength that Mr. Incredible performed seems to be overlooked by many people. At the end of the first movie he picked up his sports car, which had to weigh at least 2500lb, and threw it vehicle to Syndromes ship at least 400ft above his house. It appears to strike the ship at about 50mph. Can you do an analysis of this?
In regards to him struggling with Brick in the second film, I'd assume it was akin to collosus vs angel dust. He's holding back against a woman and is getting wrecked bc he doesn't want to hurt her especially since she's just being mind controlled
I don’t think he could’ve been able to tell that Brick was a woman. I certainly couldn’t. And maybe, just maybe... she was just physically stronger than him?
Bookhead714 She was not stronger than Bob himself, she was overall bigger, probably over 200 pounds heavier. Her strength is nothing of Bob’s, but her size and huge hands give her an advantage. Or simply they could have nerfed Bob, so he doesn’t take the full spotlight in the movie.
How about when (spoilers) * * * * * * * * * the treads of Underminer's tank drill ran over Mr. Incredible, and he just shook it off, after a couple of seconds? How much pressure did he withstand?
Charles Lee P= F/A we would have to calculate the weight of the whole machine. To do that W=M.G Thus calculate the size to get its mass and then multiply it by 9.8 (gravity) that would equal the downwards force of the Machine and finally divide it by the area that squashed mr incredible to get the pressure.
Absolutely. 15 years and all they come up with a plot that was identical to the first except that it was elastigirl's "turn". It was done because of all the other female superhero movies coming out. For the sake of gender diversity. The only reason it did so well in the box office was because people have been clamoring for a sequel for years not knowing this would be the plot and storyline.
Not really, he just didn't have any strength feats. He takes out Brick in three hits, and they aren't even full-power punches. I'd say he's still just as strong. There's a big difference between Mr. Incredible being weaker than Brick and Mr. Incredible being able to be picked up by Brick. Superhero logic usually states that weight is only loosely connected to strength (I.E Spider-Man only being 150), and since weight dictates how easy it is to lift an object, he can be picked up and thrown by someone much weaker than him.
There was a commercial where he wanted to download some photos of the Great Wall of China, got frustrated on how long it was taking. So he just ran to China, took pictures himself, and ran back before the file had downloaded. Even assuming that trip took a good thirty seconds to do it, that still brings him in at 785,640 Miles an Hour.

You forgot to mention as you were calculating the volume of the Omnidroid that you didn't get the volume of the whole Omnidroid, just the outside plating. Also, the internal components of the Omnidroid would also have added greatly to the weight. After all, engines are a major factor in the weight of tanks.
In the Incredibles Mr incredible is the most popular respectable and badass of the movie. Basically he married Elastigirl and has three tough as nails kids. Just one word incredible.
Most Elephants don't reach a mass of 11.5 tons, only the largest on record weigh that much, the particular Elephant in question was 3.96 metres at the shoulder. Most African Bush Elephants are around 6 tonnes, obviously some are larger and some are smaller, but this is a good average.
He didn’t just lift it. He held onto it with his chest and legs, pushed it for a long enough time to flip around and put it on his back, and then shoulder pressed it. That motion is not even the one where a human body is at its strongest when it comes to pushing (since the shoulders are an isolated group) meaning if he put his chest into it, he could go even heavier!

Even more than that, the omnidroid was made of some super metal that tank shells had absolutely no effect on, and "The only thing that can destroy it is... itself.". So the weight of the super metal could be even more than steel, making it a lot heavier, and the force much stronger.

In the first film it is mentioned that bob was not able to dent the exterior of the the onmidroid. In Incredibles 2 bob is able to dent steal with his punch. So the exterior of the onmidroid must be stronger than steel so bobs feet of lifting the onmidroid is much more impressive. Also the only way they were to stop the onmidroid was using its arms to stab itself. Great vid though :)
mr.penguin On a consistent basis, I've gotta say yes. Marvel and DC heroes tend to have "feats" that go against their usual ability level for the sake of looking cool as f**k.
I would say Golden Age Superman level. He’s basically the first Superman strength level in his first appearance, only Mr. Incredible doesn’t have a cape.
josiah jenks not really, golden Age Superman went on to become significantly more powerful before the silver age. By the end of the golden age, he was capable of surviving nukes without a scratch, flying through space and even moving planets. Then in the silver age he became far stronger, then in the bronze and modern age he dropped back down to the power levels he had at the end of the golden age
Ivan Moncure I’m talking about classic golden age Superman in his very first appearance when he was more powerful than a locomotive, and could leap tall buildings in a single bound. Mr. Incredible has those feats, so he would be at the same level. No one is talking about end of anything, or any other version of Superman, just Superman’s FIRST appearance. Stop trying to stir up a nonsensical argument.
@@uvindukulathunga3860you must not be a comic reader spider man’s strength is comparable to a base hulk he just doesn’t have the durability to face opponents of that strength
Keaton8r top speed would be something that could rival Superman's speed for sure, unless the time he spent reading a book and having a snack was caused due to a time manipulation power alone and not speed, his speed should be crazy high
I wish they'd made him able to bend and free himself from Syndrome's paralyzing beam, in the first movie. That would've been an impressive feat of strength and even made sense plotwise in an adrenaline-fuelled moment, such as when Jack-Jack's life was jeopardized at the end.
I'm pretty sure the city it takes place in is a fictional New York because at the beginning when Mr. Incredible changes to his suit in the car you can clearly see a map of NYC in his car info screen
The acceleration speed listed for the Omnidroid was a bit off, because even though you noted it was roughly 70 feet tall, and dropped from that height to Mr. Incredible, you must only measure from the bottom portion of the omnidroid, because thats the side that Mr. Incredible catches.
I think it was wrong to assume the omnidroid had the same density of steel when the inside shots show it was mostly hollow. It would have been more fair to assume that ~20% of the volume was steel and the rest was air
The film Theorist said that the droid has a mass of 40 780 000 lbs, not 5 608 566lbs but also he said that the diameter of the droid was 39.6 meters, not 15 meter.
Wait but the omnidroid wasnt made of steel, this can be deducted from his punch after lifting the omnidroid. And we just said that he could dent/push steel past its tensile limit. If so, his punch would dent the omnidroid. Therefore we cannot assume the weight of the omnidroid using steel
Wallace Thompson i.imgur.com/3r3COUX_d.jpg?maxwidth=640&shape=thumb&fidelity=medium and cs.trains.com/mrr/f/13/t/172738.aspx. I’ll let you figure the rest out, consider he was weakened in this as well.
The omnidroid wasn't equal density all throughout the inside and was actually quite spacious with mostly circuitry or framing which is very light in comparison to the solid steel hull of half a meter. The omnidroid was also not dropping the entire 70ft of its height in that amount of time since the distance traveled would be from the underside of its hull to the ground instead of the top of its hull to the ground since the omnidroid did not bury itself but rather sit down on them.
I'd also like to add that being terrible with superhero's actual lifting force seems to be a trope among comic companies. If you've seen Marvel's list they have a whole bunch of superheroes that go from "human strength" to "class 100 tons", (class 100 just means that the hero has a lot more lifting power than 100 tons and is essentially incalculable) there's a lot of heroes in between the "100 tons" and less that don't really make much sense. For example, Spider-Man has been listed around 20ish tons lifting force? But I'm pretty sure some of his feats are greater than 100 tons.
Jesus Christ the anti-feminism has infiltrated everything hasn’t it? Besides, I didn’t even know Brick was a woman. And I doubt most other people would either.
No... not necessarily anti-feminism. More like... passive criticism from a man who's skeptical about absolutely everything. But on the topic of infiltration, ruclips.net/video/Ha2E5aQ7yb8/видео.html trippy... ruclips.net/video/GO_X4DkwA_Q/видео.html Now I understand, these examples are of extremist radical feminsits. Also the only way they were to stop the onmidroid was using its arms to stab itself. Great vid though :)
At the start of the video I was like ok ok that's pretty impressive at the end I just watched my mouth wide open
keep up the good work buddy .really respect the amount of hard work you put it ,hats off
so he might be stronger than more than half of marvel characters!
mr.penguin and he was retired for 15 years. Young Bob was probably way stronger
mr.penguin he, really isn't
mr.penguin nope
By most super powered street level characters like Luke Cage and Spiderman, probably, but nowhere near Hulk or Thor.
mr.penguin On a consistent basis, I've gotta say yes. Marvel and DC heroes tend to have "feats" that go against their usual ability level for the sake of looking cool as f**k.
Elastigirl held up an RV during a full trip back home and shielded everyone from a point-blank missile. I wanna know her limits.
In the first Incredables, he also knocked a plane out of the sky by throwing a car at it. But I guess estimating that distance would be impossible.
I would say Golden Age Superman level. He’s basically the first Superman strength level in his first appearance, only Mr. Incredible doesn’t have a cape.
John Smith doubt it
No capes
He's definitely above Golden Age, but certainly below anything else.
josiah jenks not really, golden Age Superman went on to become significantly more powerful before the silver age.
Jack Jack v. Thanos
*Finally!* I remember askin' for this like last year!
He is just stronger than the mcu spiderman,well...without his iron spider suit
Darth Games mcu Spider-Man is yet to discover his true potential.
He deff way more stronger than Spidermans , spiderman is more of an Acrobat , assasin type . Strength is his secondary power
@@uvindukulathunga3860you must not be a comic reader spider man’s strength is comparable to a base hulk he just doesn’t have the durability to face opponents of that strength
This man throws units all over the place
Can you please do metro man from mega mind top speed/strength or somin'
Keaton8r top speed would be something that could rival Superman's speed for sure, unless the time he spent reading a book and having a snack was caused due to a time manipulation power alone and not speed, his speed should be crazy high
For video requests i am pretty sure you have to go to his patreon. Giving a thumbs up cause i like the idea.
It's pretty interesting seeing the feats of super hero's outside the ones from the popular Marvel and DC comics for a change.
Keep up the good work😊👍
I like how this guy compares everything to elephants
Imagine an incredibles tv show
Mr. Incredible might have been able to stop the train even faster. It was the train tracks that couldn’t hold up, not him.
I wish they'd made him able to bend and free himself from Syndrome's paralyzing beam, in the first movie. That would've been an impressive feat of strength and even made sense plotwise in an adrenaline-fuelled moment, such as when Jack-Jack's life was jeopardized at the end.
Request: how strong is muscle man
*Video suggestion!*
Who is the most powerful legend (lot)
BigPapa N.G *Legends of tomorrow*
I'm pretty sure the city it takes place in is a fictional New York because at the beginning when Mr. Incredible changes to his suit in the car you can clearly see a map of NYC in his car info screen
Pittsburgh_kid_52 jesus everything takes place in New York the greatest snowman the incredibles 911 avengers spiderman and i can go on and on
Crazy how he still so strong past his prime
Dude, this was excellent but how could you forget that this dude threw a car 30000 feet into the air. Calculate the strength needed to do that.
Mr Incredible vs the thing
Violet vs Sue storm
Elastigirl vs Reed Richards
Dash vs human torch
Jack-Jack vs Franklin Richards
👀
One - Above - All I don't know about others but jack jack gets absolutely stomped. Franklin can alone slaughter whole incredible family.
Why dash and human torch
One - Above - All Franklin Richards is a reality warper
Could go either way
Sue
Reed
Dash
I don't care how many powers that kid has, he's still nothing against a Reality Warper.
The acceleration speed listed for the Omnidroid was a bit off, because even though you noted it was roughly 70 feet tall, and dropped from that height to Mr. Incredible, you must only measure from the bottom portion of the omnidroid, because thats the side that Mr. Incredible catches.
Do how long can elastigirl stretch or be flexible
This man used every single lesson I learned in chemistry and physics to use
I think it was wrong to assume the omnidroid had the same density of steel when the inside shots show it was mostly hollow. It would have been more fair to assume that ~20% of the volume was steel and the rest was air
He said he calculated the outside plating...
Damn I love your channel
Mr. incredible is incredible!
Liked the video!
I think he was using steel as a guesstimate.
Damn this is dedication.
Can we get a how thick is elastigirl
The Omni droid would have to be thicker than steel because bob dented other metals. I always thought that the droid was made out of tungsten.
Stronger than Colossus
Yup. No doubt
gesp1337 this guy may be stronger than the average Hulk.
Tajbir Singh Hulk lifted a mountain range, so..
Deathly Wraith twas a mountain. Not a mountain range.
Tajbir Singh woops I got mixed up
Great video man. I loved the movie too it was amazing.
4:22 110,000 kg is not 121 tons. A ton is exactly 1,000 kg.
depends where you live, but usually its spelt different.
anthony ward god you're an idiot.
You're thinking of at tonne which is 1000kg a ton is less than a tonne
What Tye said 👆
Metric tons are different than, and smaller than, imperial tons.
Or Astro Boys top Strength of 1 Million Horsepower.
tight
I learnt a good amount of math and physics after watching this video , thanks bro
Who'll win?
Spider-Man or Mr Incredible?
Vergil the legendary dark slayer tbh mr incredible
Vergil the legendary dark slayer with Spider sense, top speed of 1,440 mph, and a max strength of ~200 tons, I think Peter will demolish him.
Frank Noble-Waters Spider-Man is thirty tons max. Where did you get 200?
Rokozide He's not stronger. Faster, smarter, a better fighter. Not stronger
You: 30 tons
Screen: 3 tons
I'd also like to add that being terrible with superhero's actual lifting force seems to be a trope among comic companies. If you've seen Marvel's list they have a whole bunch of superheroes that go from "human strength" to "class 100 tons", (class 100 just means that the hero has a lot more lifting power than 100 tons and is essentially incalculable) there's a lot of heroes in between the "100 tons" and less that don't really make much sense. For example, Spider-Man has been listed around 20ish tons lifting force? But I'm pretty sure some of his feats are greater than 100 tons.
How strong for Antman?
Dam how much work did you put into this
And yet he could not get through the crushed pipes in Incredibles 2. My one and only complaint from both movies.
Subscribed! Thx!
He still got his ass beat by generic side character Brick. *cough cough* Feminist movie *cough cough*
They don't speak for everyone, but on a national level the news headlines only grow.
This guys channels so underestimated
Nice intro
Who would win?
Helen parr or bob parr
And why?
First*
How thick is Mrs.Incredible?
we need all might top strength
omar Nawwab YES
Great video just wondering about the conversions from kg to tones a little bit off
