I know you mentioned to me previously that Airlie Beach was as far north you were going to go.... Is it worth heading up to Townsville, Cairns and Port Douglas, now that you are that far north? Port Douglas is a lovely spot to spend a few days. 8 hours by car... A tad longer in the boat...
