@fjccommish - Of course. It was staged and everything related to pro wrestling is staged. That’s why Dr D got in trouble for what he did with his wrestling company WWWF

I bet some of the young bucs here are looking at this video wondering to themselves, did they really do things like smoke on tv and get away with it....for those individuals, this was common place during the 80s, it was pre internet and a glorious time.
I say it all the time Wally. Vince screwed him over. This guy was way ahead of his time. I pop everytime I hear him talk. He wouldnt have even needed to wrestle. He could have been a manager, but not in WWE now becasue of how corny the current product is, But he could work in ROH and NJPW
Wally Palmer Stone cold was light years ahead of Dr.D. In the ring and on the mic. Dr. D was like a very early model of the southern rebel bad ass character. But very primitive. Like comparing a car from the 50s (dr. D) to what we drive today (stone cold)

There has never been a time when its been more acceptable to shoot or talk about shooting criminals or people in general. Same here.😂😂😂😂. To bad we didn't get that Bounty Hunter show starring Dr.D due to the High Insurance Rate for him and his Camera crew who would follow him from Bounty to Bounty.
David Schultz speaks on this show and on shoot interviews like he is giving a promo. Schultz must have been the real deal since I cannot tell him apart from his wrestling persona. Researching David Schultz is a strong deterrent to crime. Nobody wants to be confronted by Dr. D.
In the 1970's and early 1980's decades, Dr. D David Schultz was a very powerful, tough rule breaking heel wrestler, however, on the Morton Downey Jr. Show, he brought excitement, respect and cheers!!
How cool is that Morton is smoking a cigarette while the filming of this is taking place that’s awesome I mean that’s just real man like they don’t even begin to do something like that now they wouldn’t dream of doing that happens an interview were sitting there smoking a cigarette no way that’s great man that’s why I missed the late 80s and 90s early 90s
Best decade of my life since I was born in it. No internet people spoke their minds face to face and didn't give a shit about hurting anyone's feelings. I definitely miss those days
But drD knows Gino's rep... Murderer, gang heavy and dangerous crim and fighter in his own tlright. Note drD tones it down a bit for Gino. .. since turned Christian biker.
When a perp posts bail, he signs away certain Constitutional rights IF he fails to appear. Bounty hunters are therefore given a lot of leeway in pursuing a bail jumper.
A guy in I went to school with had a history of criminal activity and somehow never got into trouble then he attacked a 53 year old man when he was 29 at a convenience store and killed him via punch to the head and lottery ticket case to the abdomen. He did it in front of multiple witnesses and on camera yet was let out on bail. While let out on bail the police did a drug raid and found illegal weapons and drugs. He didn't jump bail but he was dangerous and probably shouldn't have had bail!
This was common place in the 80's and 90's..We had talk shows where we could have different perspectives and the word cancel culture wasn't even a thought..
i think bounty hunters have to be licensed, and im pretty sure you would never be able to be a bounty hunter or even work for one if you had a criminal record. Maybe it was different in the 80's.
Morton seemed VERY tired during this episode or just under the weather. You can hear him cough a lot in this episode. He should have quit smoking earlier in life.

I love Dr D. He just straight up stomps every argument.

Yeah except bail enforcement agents aren't the government, so they don't HAVE to obey the likes of the 4th Amendment. They are private entities.
