18/21 PSI was a bit too high particularly in the back. . I know riders in the top 10 were on 18 on the back, perhaps even a bit lower. They also train on super low pressures to get used to the back sliding and letting it go.
@@mattcarey67 thanks Matt, I spoke to Nick Blight yesterday and he was on 14/16! But on tubs, I was worried going so low on the rock hard ground and frozen ruts hitting hard on the rim and burping the tyre but lesson learnt. I’ve never raced on ground frozen like that before. Kev
