CoasteRider X-Press - GEMINI

CoasteRider X-Press, manufactured by Ronbotics Corporation, is a motion base roller coaster simulator, featuring six Cedar Point coasters: Mantis, Mean Streak, Gemini, Blue Streak, Iron Dragon, and Magnum XL-200. The footage in this 6-part series was shot inside Eastland Mall in Columbus, OH between 2012 and 2015.
Gemini, a hybrid Arrow racing coaster, opened in 1978 as the tallest and fastest in the world. 1978 was also my freshman year at Cedar Point and I remember how exciting it was walking by this beautiful coaster as it was being prepared to open to the public.
