Man I always wondered why my front two wheel had so much toe in I had my ball joint the wrong way!! I flipped it over and boom I had no binding and my front is super low with my mods I did to it wow man I really thought I had it set up right but after hearing you explain everything carefully and rewinding and looking at my set up and I had to give your way a try and I love it AWSOME video man helped me a lot!!
Lil tip when you're ripping the r/c's apart . . Get a 9 or 12 cupcake pan/tin . . Helps organize the screws and separate instead of being loose on the counter top
I really appreciate you answering me before on the plastic gears. they are plastic and I did change them with no problem. just wondering now the steering upgrade that you made Josh. I have it in my parts. Does it help correct the toe in ??
It does but very slightly!! Almost not noticeable in my opinion.. There is someone on the redcat lowrider FB group that makes a set that's supposed to correct the toe when it's lifted.. I personally haven't purchased and installed it but other have and say it works great. You might just try searching for it.
@@jdrcchanneltexas5497 thanks for the hit back. Will be doing this mod soon. So glad you make these videos. I've learned a lot. Please keep them coming. Be safe bro.👊☮🙏
Nice tutorial Josh, I have a question on the duratrax tires do you know what is the weight of that tires? Which one is lighter stock kaiju wheels or duratrax?
Honestly I haven't weighed them but they are probably very close. The duratrax are smaller width and height but they are belted which would give them weight. The Kaiju are taller and wider but not belted so. Given that into consideration they feel really close to each other. I like them because their belted but dislike that they are a little smaller all around so they don't absorb the impact of jumps as well as the Kaiju tires. But they work great for track or street running. Becuase they don't balloon.
