Bing your a great teacher. This all makes sense to get started. Your twisting my arm to finally choose a dulcimer and get a goin !! Not unfamiliar to music notation. Clarinet allot back in the day. Some Guitar, and a little mandolin experience here ! Thanks !!
Thank you so much! We are both clarinet players as well! Give me a shout if you get stuck with anything.
Great teacher
Many thanks!
Thank You this was very helpful! I will get my metronome out today and put it to work!
Awesome! Just a little bit each day - trust your inner clock after that!
Very good tips. ..
Tom M Glad you liked - thanks for watching!
I have worked out how to play this, it took me an hour and a half
Excellent!
Bing, great job, great lesson. Some people might have a bit of trouble holding onto pick when letting it loose. A friend showed me that pushing a hot nail into the middle of the pick can add ridges to the pick and making the loose pinch easier to hold the pick. I love practicing rhythm while cycling through cords. Also, guitarists choose strumming close to the bridge for song emphasis, kind of sounds like a different instrument. Just another tool to use while making music. Thank you very much for sharing!
MAN.... That does not look like my back deck... ½ inch of snow on the deck, wind is blowing sure is not Dulcimer deck playing weather here... Thank you for the tips/lesson. Oh yea, Try not to get too chilled.. LOL!
Ok, so it is driving me nuts. What is the song you start at the end of the video, please?
"Shine" by Collective Soul - thanks for watching!
