Thank you all so much for your support of RS! Hitting the lowest of lows, picking myself back up through Christ, and having this kind of reaction is so humbling! I love and appreciate all of you! Great or not so great comments are read and all of them, good and bad are important to myself and the band! After all we do this for YOU THE FANS! God bless and thank you all Again!!
Deen Castronovo You absolutely kick ass Dean! You've turned your life completely around, not too many people can say that. You're still the best singer out there. Don't stop making music, you're an inspiration to everyone. Rich
Could you please write a song similar to Whitesnakes here I go again with the whisper to scream dynamic I reckon you could right a truly amazing song that way. Brilliant song you have a great voice! Are you planning to head to Australia or tour South America?
Hey, Deen! I've been a fan since the early Shrapnel/Wild Dogs/(misc related projects) days, and when I first heard you were lightening Steve A.'s load on tour with Journey, singing some of the Perry stuff, I was floored. No one man should be allowed to shred the skins like you (witness Wild Dogs' ~ "Call of the Dark," or, heck, ANY of REIGN OF TERROR) AND sing like Perry! NO. DAMN. FAIR! heh heh I am glad you're back & stronger, and even happier that your return to Revolution Saints seems to have happened even more quickly than I thought it was supposed to. This tune is a monster! I didn't notice until the 3rd viewing or so your name as the sender of the text to end the vid. Brilliant, and touching.. Ever forward.. Welcome back!
Thank you RS for this, my wife passed away 14 months ago and it still hurts like hell at times. This song sums up everything, we had to go through the tough times and the good while we were together, and I would not change a thing. They are the things that made us what we were. Thank you again.
@@txtamaman thank you, yes things have gotten better, I still miss my wife but now when I look back I don't get so sad I look back with thankfulness at the life that we had together, I'm after meeting an amazing lady and I'm looking forward to the next chapter of my life, my children are all doing well and are living happy lives, that's all that a parent could ask for.
Deen's voice is amazing AT ALL TIMES! but on this song he proves, to me at least, that he can stand toe to toe with the greatest rock singer of all times Steve "The Voice" Perry...I cry every time I hear this song.... the feeling and passion he has is unsurpassed here... In the top 2 or 3 ballads of all time...at least in my useless opinion.
I strongly disagree. Castronovo lacks the range that Perry had. There's so much that Perry could do that Dean can't. I think people forget how great Perry was
i do like his voice being more ‘rock’ sounding… Perry was unbelievable regarding his range. It’s awesome hearing Deen’s actual voice; his covering a Journey song when they tour is great, but he and Arnel can’t help but mimic how Steve sings

The best Aldrich's solo, the most melodic, perfect song. This is such an impressive song, emotion is within this song. I think Dean Castronovo and Richie kotzen are the most impressive singers nowadays.
I still just don’t understand why Dean doesn’t get more credit for his unbelievable singing voice. His tone, control is so amazing. It’s probably because he is known as a great drummer but damn this man can flat out sing.
This song is absolutely beautiful, it reaches the heart in a very special way, its difficult to describe. For me, this ballad is up there with the greatest ballads of all time.
Tim Inman yep. All my love to Steve Augeri and Arnel but Deen and Jeff Scott Soto were the only Journey singers that were A-1 material and worthy of succeding Perry. Anytime Deen sang a tune was a treat. This song would fit right in on the Trial By Fire album.
This whole song reminds me of FTLOSM/Trial By Fire/I Stand Alone... so let's see... Deen is close to the same age Perry was at the time and I think he even sounds slightly better.
It's good to see Deen doing well and moving on with clear eyes, his recovery has really brought back a healthy look and positive sound ...Jack and Doug are good friends to stand by his side...I wish the band total success ahead.

Deen Jack and Doug. What an amazing sound. So much truth to speak. Real music and real talent only take you so far brother. In 2003,. I took my raw vocal talent from Wisconsin to Illinois. Became a karaoke dj and loved the singing but it was overshadowing the job part. I started having voice issues I now know are from a dental infection gone mad. I just can't help to sing, but I have to try and hide my tears,I wouldn't change a thing. You, Jack Blades and Doug Aldrich are Awesome! Can't wait for your next album! You guys are Awesome!
It would of been an honor if Steve Perry and Deen done that song together. Those two should do a album. Two great voices of all time should do this. Give me a Hell Yeah!!
Mr. Castronovo I wanted to say thank you for music! I heard you sing with Journey a few years ago at SPAC in Saratoga Springs N.Y. and was floored! I am so happy to hear that you have found Happiness, Sobriety, and GOD! My prayers will be with you forever! Good luck to you and your new band!!!

The first time I heard this , I listened to it 4 times in a row ! It may be one of the best songs I've ever heard ! I hope this song helps the band achieve mainstream commercial success . I am a fan of the band ! I really like the first album as it's in my personal collection ! I am looking forward to hearing the second album !
I'm so happy I found this band. This band has made quarantining much more enjoyable for me. Deen and guys - please keep rockin' out! I love your sound and your soul.
My new favorite band in these current times. Thanks to the Real Music Observer for turning me onto Revolution Saints. Don't ever "change a thing". You guys are incredible. Please tour and come to Florida (west coast) when you are done with Dead Daises.
Revolution Saints are my new inspirational band. When I'm feeling low their music brings me back up. When I'm hyper and enjoying life, their music makes me enjoy my life even more. Thank you guys, keep it up for us all! Love you!
I've been missing songs like this one, videos like this one, heartfelt vocals, guitar solos under the rain, a tasteful rhythm section. God knows how I missed them.
Neil Schon is a great guitar player on his own. Steve Perry is a great singer on his own. Put together, they were unstoppable. 1+1 =27 in that case. This performance is much the same. Doug is a great guitar player - the sustained opening note on the solo fit perfectly. Deen is a fantastic singer and had it nailed from the first note. Put together with a super tune with super lyrics, this is crazy good stuff. This is a song that should get tons of radio airplay, if not were the entire system so corrupt.
We'll see you the 1+1+1=33 and raise in this case this 1 + 1 + 1 = about 33,000. We have to multiply the 3 by about 100 for how much they have been schooling everyone else how to write great timeless music and the one's learning don't even realize it's happening in front of their very eyes. Talk about giving folks free education, Bernie Sanders should be paying these guys royalties on that idea for their keeping rock standards high and constantly raising the bar for everyone higher. Then we have to raise it by another 100 because you could tie 9 out of 10 fingers behind each one of these guy's backs and they still would play circles around most folks on the music scene, be smiling while they're doing it, cracking a joke at you, and asking you about your family all at the same time. They just don't make 'em like these guys anymore. Human, real, look you in the eye and no matter whether you've been a fan for 1 year or the last 4+ decades, they'll take time to talk to you and let you know they appreciate your being a fan. These guys and everyone around them are our generations' Rolling Stones, Deep Purple, and Led Zeppelin, and God help us when Jack, Doug and Deen start thinking about retirement. Not an option! lol Or at least not without doing a tour every 3 or 4 years to keep our faith up and to remind everyone else how it's done so the others don't slack off! We don't need another grunge phase. One flannel, tube socks and hiking boots de-evolution in rock in a lifetime is enough. lol Last and most certainly not least, we have to multiply everything by another 1000, if not 10,000, because they're so bloody nice, and good people, the fact that they are doing what they are doing, now, stronger, wider and more than ever, with SO MANY DIFFERENT BANDS. (!...!...!!!!) Regardless of any hurdles or obstacles they've had to overcome, we are very fortunate that they continue to make it happen and constantly be bringing great new music out while keeping the best classic songs and bands going. We had no idea in our wildest dreams growing up wearing out cassettes and cds from N. Ranger, H of Lords, Hurricane, Hardline, etc. how much we are all very lucky that these guys have become the foundation of keeping the music true. Awesome, guys. Thanks! You've created music that has been the soundtrack to a lot of our lives and we are in your debt!
this song is soooo good. I reckon it should be used for a ice skating performance. The guitar solo is soooooooooo touching. Love this band. God (Yah) bless as we all seek Him, I wish i could say I've never fallen, but the main thing is we continue
Well, it's three months in and this is still my fave song of the year..! Hate to admit it but it has made me tear up from time to time when I think of my relationship break up last year. Strangely I think it actually helps too... Hope the guys will tour in the UK some time soon because I would love to watch this magical line up in the flesh... Just awesome! Love it...!

Thank you Deen, Doug & Jack for this incredible song! I heard it for the first time a few days ago & I cry every time. It reminds me of a former high school boyfriend & even though we broke up many years ago, we're still friends to this day. Keep the power ballads coming guys! God bless you all.
2020 song of the year to me! Grammy should put Revolution Saints on notice!!! Superb vocals, guitar and video!!!
Dear Doug, What a solo! It was just epic and brilliant!
Maddening how beautiful songs like this don't get the attention they deserve. Should be on movie sound track or something.
Wow, what a song, and the voice, just amazing. Please, just keep playing and making music.
DEEN CASTRONOVO
You are Awesome! Listening to this song reminds of my situation and I love this song. I love the whole album!
Does anyone else agree?
My new song obsession. Absolutely freaking beautiful.
I hope Dean has his "issues" taken care of. He sings beautifully. I like this lineup, this band could be big.
Blew my mind .....Rock and Rock ballads ARE BACK ! And so is DEEN !
Don't know how many times I've seen this video. Maybe 2 or 3 hundred times. Deen your voice touches me deep in the heart. This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever listened to. Thank you! Your fan forever.
Great band excellent song ❤️ thanks 💓
The first time I heard this , I listened to it 4 times in a row !
It may be one of the best songs I've ever heard !
I hope this song helps the band achieve mainstream commercial success .
I am a fan of the band !

Love you!
Fantastic!...One day at a time Mr, Dean...Keep up the great work.
I hope some Day could see you live. From Chile "viva Castranovo!!!" wonderful drummer and singer.
When we realized Journey searched and found singers like Steve Augeri, Arnel Pineda. Deen was there all along. Hidden treasure.
Best song I've heard in a long time
I've been missing songs like this one, videos like this one, heartfelt vocals, guitar solos under the rain, a tasteful rhythm section.
What about Jack Blades? REVOLUTION SAINTS ARE AWESOME!
Absolutely right and do not forget Jack Blades. IN this case 1+1+1= 33
One flannel, tube socks and hiking boots de-evolution in rock in a lifetime is enough. lol
Last and most certainly not least, we have to multiply everything by another 1000, if not 10,000, because they're so bloody nice, and good people, the fact that they are doing what they are doing, now, stronger, wider and more than ever, with SO MANY DIFFERENT BANDS.
@@RockDawg77 Agreed. It seems everything Deen is involved in is gold. The guy is a phenomenal drummer and vocalist.
Deen Castronovo...... LOVE your vocals! XOXOXOOX
What a fantastic song. Just totally blew me away. I heard Perry here big time, well done guys.
this song is soooo good.
Love it...!
