Wayne, I'm really sorry to have to tell you this, but you've made a little assembly error at 5:53 (Part 18). You fitted the base slider to the bottom of the HUD the wrong way round (Basically, the short overhang end should be beneath the Steering wheel). This means that when you fitted your HUD to the floor, it slides too close to the dashboard (15mm further from drivers seat). Easy to correct this now, but if you don't, your HUD may interfere with the powered closure of the windscreen and it will mean major disassembly of the lower floor panel....
Don't worry about the way you speak Wayne. I've always thought it makes you endearingly British. Also my son always uses a soft T when he speaks, so mittens ends up sounding like middens. And when I was young my Rs sounded more like Ws. We all have those little quirks! Still love the channel, keep up the great work!
I know many people with that same accent Wayne! Don't let anyone correct You for being you! Watch Thoughty 2! He has the same accent! To me it's great! This model is going brilliantly as well. It's complex.
I've always said these builds could be easily reduced in total pack size. Like my next 4 of Kitt. The passenger seat and the first part of the back seat. I would of much preferred if all the seats were in one set of 4 issues instead of being over 12
Good vid as always, I have all parts to 22 but refuse to build it month to month after getting burned with ironman and the 10 minute monthly stages. Ill hopefully have to issue 40ish by Christmas and will build all of that together then.
There is so much detail going into this build. Can't wait to see it when it's completely done. I ordered the Alien build and got my first delivery yesterday. Wayne, do you know if you have completed a build with them? Your first pack is free and shipping. I saved over 79.00 USD, which was great. I wonder if the other builders in your community of subscribers know of this. I just found out when I was ordering the Alien build. Wayne and Mrs. Wayne, be safe and have a very pleasant day.
All that could have been done in 2 or 3 stages. Now you have to wait 6 weeks for then nest 6 stages, which will be the right seat. These companies draw out the builds to 100 stages where you could do it in 50-75 easily.
I dislike the way the Steering 'Wheel' is disconnected from the front wheels - which is unusual for a vehicle model of this cost, detail and scale. I have found a way of integrating a connected mechanism that makes the steering wheel functional, whilst also supporting the range of HUD pedestal adjustment. However, I will hold back with the modification until installing the steering rack and servo.
This question has probably been asked already but, seeing as i came in late on this kit and only just started it, will there be an engine to put together for this particular tumbler?
If ever you thought 'they're dragging this build out with unnecessarily short stages' this is a prime example! I'm sure the finished model will be amazing but £10.99 for each of these stages?
Everything is going up including weekly model building collections/monthly subscriptions. And it,s gnna be like this forra long time i,m afraid for how much long that i don,t know
I am trying so hard to find a batmobile tumbler that fits the mcfarlane 7inch batman figure for my son for christmas.. I cant find one or find one thats not crazy expensive.. can anyone help?
The thing is you take a price and split it down into manageable financial chunks. It makes it affordable but it does mean some issues won't have as much as others

Not exactly screaming value for money there really... Also, how you pronounce things isn't an issue and anyone correcting you needs to get a life... Now calling things the wrong name on the other hand, well, that's a different story 😝

I was putting together stage 18 did you find the hud wobbly after you connected it to the floor base or was it solid like the seats?

That's the problem with 2-year builds - they like to stretch it out. The seats could have been done in 1-stage.
