We are Linnea and Akela. In May, 2020 I purchased our 2016 Ram ProMaster, Togo, to become our full-time home. With this van build, I am using my stubbornness and drive to show individuals that they, too, can convert a campervan BY THEMSELVES and ON A BUDGET, with a lot of learning, rolling up the sleeves, and getting to work.

I have never seen anyone on youtube use Rivnuts before, your the 1st ! They are great. I worked at a Van Conversion Shop in the late 70's and we used them to mount the seats etc Looking great ! Oh and I read that you played B-Ball for Truman in my home state ! I'm in STL ✌️🖕🎸

I've used premade, unfinished oak base cabinets to avoid having to make them. They're actually cheaper too.

Hi , instead of Thant big peace of wood you could just ad 4 peace’s where the screws are then you have still that nice air low all around,instead of blocking it . It’s locking stunning...

Quarter round wall trim would look great in that last inside corner you showed. I turned cheap metal dog bowls into sinks that I will use when I finally get a van.

In case you're not aware of it, the kreg rip-cut jig, plus a circular saw, is great for ripping large sheets of plywood without a table saw..
It certainly is... although I must admit something... I am absolutely terrified of circular saws. I have used them and there is just something about it. Freaks me out. Lol so I avoid it 🤷🏼♀️

you can also wire your rover to your alternator i believe its got a built in smart isolator solenoid or can also get a dedicated DC to DC charger, for when your travelling, then add a 12V cigarette lighter plug to plug your jackery into your promaster to charge it off the alternator instead of having a wire to the front cabin. what made you decide to build a seat vs use the passenger seat on a swivel?

Do you think it would be possible to only use a jackery without a solar system? I’ve been looking into both for a while and I’ve been thinking about just buying both but I’m wondering if I’d be able to just use one or the other? What are your thoughts?

Hi, what size fuse do you have for your fridge? I used 12/2 wire for my Alpicool fridge and it draws about 3 amps when it's running, but having a little trouble calculating my size fuse needed. Thank you!!

How does perishable stay fresh when your truck is off? Is the fridge still on?
The fridge runs off of my solar, so it stays on even when the van is off!

just curious why you'd spend $600 or so for that fridge when you can get one at Home Depot for around $170?
I'm pretty frugal but I also went with a Dometic fridge over a dorm fridge. Superior quality and warranty made the difference.
Where do you plug in your fridge?
I explained the installation at the end of the video - it is wired to a 12 gauge wire I ran through my wall!
