man, uzi along with others during this era brought such a new and vibrant sound to rap/hiphop. they got so much hate ofc from the old heads, but their main focus wasn’t just to spit double triple or quadruple entendres or to tell a compelling story (which i fuck with heavy don’t get me wrong). their main focus was to make FEEL GOOD music. something you can just completing vibe to and at times just fuckin rage tf out. and the rappers/artists during that era fuckin nailed that perfectly. who knows when we’ll get another wave like that again, but damn i’m glad i got to witness the come up of these iconic people.
